"I'm sure I don't love him for a reason I forgot myself." Toni looked up, not wanting to see the photos of Tiffany that were shown to her.
The statement was expressed by Toni in a stern tone, without the slightest hesitation. Doctor Livia, the counselor who did cognitive therapy on Toni, wrote something in her medical records.
John, who was not far from there, listened well to be reported to his Great Lord. Currently they are in Toni's mansion located behind the Peterson family's main house. To be more relaxed, the counselor invited Toni to sit near the artificial lake that separates Toni's mansion and Alex's.
"Why?"
"I've said many times that I don't feel anything when I look at the picture. Even I tend to get sick of seeing her face." Toni's voice sounded annoyed.
Counselors and psychologists who have been unfortunate to handle various cases, smiling understandably. Sometimes patients like Toni do experience mood swings so quickly.
"Why?"
There were a lot of questions in the counselor's note, but she chose a question that needed a long answer as a stimulus in the brain so that Toni could remember and tell what was on her mind.
"Let's see, there's something that makes me dislike him. But I don't know."
"So you don't want to see her again?" Livia's doctor tries to draw conclusions from Toni's statement.
"Absolutely not! Why do you keep asking boring questions?" toni's protest was upset.
"Sorry, Sir. I'm just trying to dig, which happened before Mr. had amnesia."
Toni grunts. "You're a famous psychologist! You should have heard the theory that someone might not remember something they didn't want to remember after a bad event."
The counselor nodded and smiled. He added something to his notes. The man before him was indeed amnesia but his brain was still able to analyze it well.
"What about your current job?" Ask the counselor to try to shift the conversation to something else, which may interest Toni.
"It's normal." Toni shrugged indifferently. "Nothing interesting, I feel like a robot. Works according to program and automatic."
John was silent - silently smiling. Toni's long-lost special scolding, now back to sound. Far from before the memory loss, his young master did prefer to live free. Instead of meeting indoors, he chose zoom so that it could be done wherever he was. Had it not been forcibly done by Mr. Peterson, it would have been impossible for this intelligent young master to enter the meeting room.
Toni stood up, her hands put in both bags.
"Hey, John. What this counselor did was the same thing Eliana did to me. Just let me continue my therapy with Eliana!" he said impatiently.
"Regarding this, I will ask the big master for permission first." replied John politely.
Doctor Livia stood up and followed Toni.
"Wow! From the way you say names, you seem to really like a woman named Eliana."
Toni's smile expanded, she was pleased that the conversation was now turning to the topic about Eliana.
"She's the woman I love, Doc. Not Tiffany or anyone."
"Why is that sure?"
Toni turned to Doctor Livia and stared intently. "Whoever uses his logic knows that this case is strange. Someone who has prepared a marriage maturely, then suddenly disappeared."
Tony shrugged his shoulders. "You ran away, like you said. Shouldn't there be a reason for that? If it's love, why run away? Besides, the more I see her, the more I'm sure I don't love her."
"On what basis are you so sure?"
"Gut feelings."
(Phiromacy.)
"So you believe in your instincts?"
"The instinct that makes me judge someone is good or bad. Besides the brain, I had to rely on instinct to survive when I didn't remember anything."
"Hmm.Worthy Mr. Peterson is encouraging you to become the next CEO of Peterson Group."
"Nope!"
"Sorry?"
"I'm not the next CEO, Doc. I'm just a person born to be the successor to the Peterson Group."
Doctor Livia nodded and smiled. From the words of Toni, implied a refusal to go back to the past.
"Has our session today finished Doc? I have to see Eliana, I want to ask her out."
Doctors Livia and John reacted differently. The counselor smiled, while John was dumbfounded.
Ughhhh! John went awry, he hasn't authorized Toni's Grandpa yet.
"You know that Eliana's not working right now, her days must be pretty boring. I want to accompany him today. You better borrow me a car or I won't obey you anymore!" toni said again with a threatening tone.
His newfound busyness completely reduced the intensity of his encounter with Eliana. Toni had longed to have a casual conversation with Eliana as usual.
*
"Please, Sir. The car is ready and the food for the picnic is safe on the seat" John said politely.
Huh uh?!
Toni gawking.
An old-fashioned jeep model car in dull black is parked in front of Toni's mansion.
"Don't you have a worse car than this, huh?"
"Sorry, Sir. This is already the ugliest, sir."
Toni chuckles in annoyance, puts on her sunglasses and climbs onto the butut car John lends her. It's better to walk with Eliana as usual than to ride in a car like this. Really embarrassing!
RRRMMMM.... BRPRP... BRRTT....
'What?!'
It sounds like a cough - cough! Toni glanced sharply at John.
"Review if you go on strike on the street!" annoyed sergeant.
"Sorry, Sir. Didn't you say you didn't want to look rich? You want a date like a commoner." said John grimacing.
His handsome young master rode in a car that was dull in color with the sound of an engine that was more like the sound of a tractor.
Toni looked suspiciously at John, his assistant having a level of compliance above normal. He just ordered, wanted to look ordinary as Toni the barista who had nothing. The outcome? Butut car!
Next Toni opened a bag of food in the seat next to her seat.
Phew.. , donut.
Toni is relieved because the donuts purchased are also the best brand of donuts in the city. At least it's worth giving to a girl. The next second, Toni immediately glared.
"John?!" sniff Toni, the upset is incredible.
"Yes - yes, sir?"
"WHY ARE THERE ONLY FOUR?"
"Uhm. If I was Toni who had nothing, it would be a pity to spend that much money just to buy donuts" said John without sin.
"CK!"
No time left, Toni had to leave immediately because later in the afternoon she had to return to Rocktown and go back to the apartment in Lakewood. I don't know how many times he has to go home in one day. Rocktown to Lakewood takes only an hour by car.
Toni swiftly drove the car, penetrating the road from Rocktown to Lakewood accompanied by a deafening sound.
