Chapter 43 - Right - There's No Chance?

"Hey, what are you doing here?" alex asked in surprise, his gaze fixed on the tray in Eliana's hand. They meet when Eliana is about to get out of the main house, while Alex is just about to enter the dining room.

"You want to go to Grandpa's room?" Alex tried to guess.

Eliana rolled her eyeballs. Alex grimaces, stupid him. There is no way Eliana will go to her Grandpa, the direction of Eliana street opposite the Grandpa room.

"Hurry in, Alex. Everyone's ready for breakfast in the dining room." Eliana didn't answer, but she told Alex to come in.

"Thanks." answered Eliana briefly, not responding to Alex's joke. He bit the tip of a sandwich made by Toni, it still tastes the same as what Toni made in the apartment. Delicious.

Eliana finished her meal while smiling at Alex's childish behavior more than Toni. This man intended to comfort her because Toni was coming 'guest'.

"Why don't you just eat with them?" ask Eliana. Her stomach feels full, and she feels better now.

"I'm kind. Who knows you need a shoulder to cry on." Alex replied with a chuckle. He patted her wide shoulders while grinning.

"Is there really no chance for me, Eli?" Alex leaned over, taking a jar filled with fish food that was on the floor of the gazebo deck. "You can feed those fish, and they'll come closer." He took Eliana's palm and poured a few scoops of fish food over it.

"From the beginning you knew where my heart was. At first I thought it was just humanity. Until without me realizing that feeling of sympathy turned into love and love." Eliana threw the fish food into the water into an artificial lake. Sure enough, the fish came in groups and scrambled when Eliana threw the food into the water.
