"Hi, Mrs. Peterson. I'm Detective Shawn from Lakewood Police Station."

Eliana nodded, she received a helping hand from a plainclothes policeman. Men, large and dashing tall, who wear shirts and dark-colored jeans and boots. A black police vest and a pistol tucked in the bag showed he was one of the security forces.

Detective Shawn sat across the table and looked straight at Eliana. In an instant his smile vanished and turned into a sharp gaze typical of investigators. The mode is now active. Eliana tensed up, she straightened her back and prepared with whatever the detective would ask.

Today he had to tell the police whatever he remembered.

While outdoors, Toni was talking to a Peterson family lawyer. The lawyer said a paparazzi sent an email containing photos of Toni in the hospital and the chandelier club.

"How much?" asked Toni with a dislike expression. He knew what the paparazzi meant by sending an email to his lawyer.

"A hundred thousand dollars." replied the lawyer. I've been trying to nego but it looks like he's been sounding over here and there.

"Give it." replied Toni annoyed.

Again he had to cover Alex's ulcers. If the case and Eliana spread to the media, Tiffany's party was more harmed because he first had an affair. But the problem is that Alex is on Tiffany's men's list.

Toni is only worried about Grandpa's health when Alex's problems blow up to the media. Moreover, he must have been very angry with Alex who was considered a traitor.

Toni's phone vibrated in her pants pocket, Grandpa's name on the screen.

"I received this call first, sir." said as he walked away, looking for a quieter place to speak freely.

"Yes?"

Grandpa's voice sounded. "What's your business? Is it all right?"

"Eliana is being questioned" Toni replied without explaining that she was with their lawyer.

"Where is our partnership with Wilson?" Ask Mr. Peterson.

Toni closed her eyes and pinched her forehead."

"While still good, Grandpa. But we have to decide that soon."

"Can you handle it yourself without John?"

Looks like Grandpa's main purpose for calling him was John. He hasn't said anything about John to her.

"Ehm... I think about it after coming home from here, Grandpa."

"No, Toni. You must not be rash. I've ordered John to take care of all our dealings with Wilson. I don't want you to fire him. He'll be working with a lawyer and Alex will be taking care of the company while you're gone."

"Shall I postpone this trip to help you?" Tony offered to help.

"no need. Eliana needs a vacation to forget that painful thing."

Toni nodded. "Yes, Grandpa. Thanks for understanding."

Detective Shawn's door opens, Eliana exits with the detective. Toni immediately ended her conversation with Grandpa. Then he approached immediately. "Done?"

Tony shook the detective's hand warmly. "Thank you, sir. If you ever need us again, you'll have to make an appointment first, because we're probably on our way."

"Good fun in Australia, sir." Detective Shawn pat Toni on the shoulder, he's already got a story from Peterson's family lawyer that Toni and Eliana are about to make a honeymoon trip to Austrlia. And that lawyer is gonna be Detective and Toni's mouthpiece.

Toni nodded and grabbed Eliana out of the police station. "First, John will take care of this when I'm not in place."

"So you didn't fire him?" ask Eliana astonished. Toni was really weird, if she called him again, why did she have to fire him yesterday?

Seeing Eliana's reaction, Toni chuckled and continued the first sentence earlier. "Second, just relax. Let's enjoy our love in Australia." said Toni, winking.
