Not Nackal, Nurul!

Not Nackal, Nurul!
Nurul Taught Icha to Icha Kesal

Day by day change.  Do not feel already dozens of full moon Icha passed in this pesantren with Nurul.  His arrogant attitude has softened.  Seemed from his more polite language style, but he still needs a long process to fix his lazy habits.  His former life always facilitated what he wanted.  People say money can buy everything and that's what still unknowingly comes out of Icha.

The time approaching dawn has come.  Icha and Nurul had enough rest last night.  But, Icha seems to be upset and feels not ready to start the day.

“Icha.... You why are you quiet from earlier?” nurul asked while folding the mucena that he had just used for sunnah prayer.  “Emh... Emh... I... “ Icha hesitantly expresses her feelings.  “You sick?” ask Nurul.  Nurul was already used to the expression that Icha was looking at.  He must be worried about something.  Only logical and non-offending ill reasons for Nurul to ask.

Icha.  There was no way he could lie to a doctor about his health condition.  Nurul may be able to forgive him if Icha is caught lying, but not with Ustadzah guiding him today.  Icha didn't want to embarrass herself with it, but she was so eager to avoid class today.

Nurul then brewed a warm sweet tea for the two of them.  Nurul hopes that the drink he made can melt the atmosphere, hopefully it can also make Icha be fine.

Nurul also gave a cup of sweet tea steeping to Icha who was sitting in his study chair.  While waiting for Icha to sip the drink, Nurul stood by the side of Icha's study table holding his own cup.  He was still waiting for the answer to his question which was so hesitant to be revealed by Icha.

Seeing Nurul standing by her side smiling, Icha realized that Nurul was making sure of her condition.  “I'm not sick, Rul,” said Icha.  “Terus you why?  Any more problems?  Just story, who knows I can help,” said Nurul.  Icha then shook her head and lowered her head.

“Oh, the wealth is this monthly guest signs,” seductive Nurul while away from the Icha study table.  Nurul was sitting in his own study chair.  Nurul put down his drink and opened his notebook.  Nurul read and muttered to mention the list of tasks in his book.

“Cha, you are busy ga?” ask Nurul. “Ha? When?” tanya Icha jerked.  “Ya now.  Are you busy now?  I want to ask for help,” Nurul said.  “Oh, no hell.  What do you want to ask for help?” ask Icha.  “Help me to correct memorization huh?  Later there will be a memorization test of the same hadith Ustadzah Mirna,” said Nurul who had turned his chair facing towards Icha.

“Oh.  Aye, yes.  Here,” said Icha while reaching for a reading book for memorization.  “What page?” continued.  “From the beginning,” replied Nurul.  Nurul also read hadith passages in Arabic along with their meaning in Indonesian.  While reading the book, Icha listened and corrected Nurul's wrong words.

Moments later... “Eh, pause, pause.. You read what page, anyway?” ask Icha while flipping through the pages of his book.  “You missed or I jumped?” nurul.  “This I repeat, huh?  The original gini Ya rosulullah, a laa tuhaddistsunii an ha ri stsah wa kaa na qutila yauu ma badri, fa ingkaa na fii jannati shobartu. “ said Nurul.  “Ntar, ntar... Which one is it?” ask Icha while flipping through the pages of his book.

“That's it, that Umm Rabbi bint Barra came to ask the Prophet the story of Harithah in the Battle of Badr?” nurul.  “Bentar yes. Haritsah..Badar War..Oh, O Allah..I was the last one,” said Icha.  “By the way you've failed too, right Cha?  How can I miss that?” ask Nurul.

“Haaa... Nuruuul... “ Icha whine.  “Actually I haven't memorized.  I'm not ready to go to Ustadzah Mirna's class.  What's my fate, Rul?  Where previous memorization is also ugly,” lamented Icha.  “Oh, so that's what you got?  Kirain me you are sick,” said Nurul.

“There is still time.  It was still forty minutes later.  Well, we'll finish our subuhan again.  Breakfast will be rushed so, we continue to return to the room if you are embarrassed to be outside.  Mirna's Ustadzah class starts at eight, right?  Still can,”ucap Nurul cheers.

“Which part have you not memorized?” nurul asked who was dragging his chair towards Icha.  “Not all, huhu.. “ said Icha with mouth curved down.  “Astafirullah, Icha.  Why just say now?” Nurul panicked.  “Finally, you will know myself I am most difficult with Arabic pronunciation,” lamented Icha.

“Ya, yes.  We start from the beginning.  If the way I gini so quickly say per behead-digging the sentence repeated.  Try following me, huh?  We start,” Nurul said.  Nurul patiently helps Icha complete her rote task.  Although in the midst of Icha often complained and asked to end their activities, Nurul did not care.

Nurul is now like a kindergarten teacher who must patiently teach a chatty boy who cannot take lessons seriously. “You're as good as me?  How did you read that?” Icha protest.  “Neg. Yuk repeated again.  If in the middle there is still something wrong to go back to the beginning again,” said Nurul with a firm tone.  “You're honest, Rul.  If it's too lazy and sprained with me, we'll hopefully!” say Icha.

Nurul looked at him then sighed.  Actually the one who insisted on ending this activity was Icha.  It seems that Icha does not enjoy this activity very much.  He is the type of person who quickly gets bored and wants to shift his activities to something else.

“Cha.  Let's see, we've reached this section.  Bandingin with you earlier.  Read this section can't.  We're here, Cha.  Well, your development is actually good.  You hold on, anyway. You can do it, kok,” said Nurul.  Actually Nurul overstated the development of Icha.  He just wants to encourage Icha. Icha's ability to memorize isn't really good.

Time is rolling.  It's time for class to start.  Nurul and Icha who are my countrymen are preparing to deposit their memorization, waiting for their turn.  Icha's turn arrives.  He walked forward with an occasional look at Nurul from his shoulder with an unwilling look.  Nurul clenched his hands as Icha looked at him, hinting her passion for him.

Icha sat down at the table of Ustadzah Mirna.  At the beginning of the reading, Icha sounded stammered.  Fortunately, the class atmosphere was not quiet.  Each santriwati was busy with their rote preparation.  Icha's hesitant voice was only heard by Ustadzah Mirna.

“Ga need to be nervous so.  Now repeat from the beginning,” said Ustadzah Mirna.  Icha also continued the rote deposit process.  Afterwards, Icha returned to her desk.  His face seemed to hold a smile.  “Where was it?” nurul asked while half whispering.  “Hafalanku there are some that must be repeated, Rul,” said Icha who offset the volume of Nurul's voice.

Nurul was astonished, told to repeat the next time but Icha's expression seemed pleased.  “But, earlier Ustadzah Mirna said that so far the development of my rote is quite good.  He said to santriwati as recently as me, I look very hard.  Ustadzah Mirna banding-bandingin me with other santriwati who has long studied hadithnya.  Ustadzah is not angry with me, it is salut he said,” said Icha excitedly.

“Alhamdulillah.. Congratulations yes, Cha.  No, what I said!  So, you do not need to lash out at me again if I sayin,” said Nurul.  “Yes, thank goodness.  Thank you very much, Rul.  You are indeed bestie me the best-best,” said Icha.  They linked their ten fingers together in front of their faces cheerfully.
