Not Nackal, Nurul!

Not Nackal, Nurul!
Finished Duelling (revised)

Tommy heard Nurul's scream.  He asked them to stop fighting, but it was no longer possible to stop this.  This man had tried to steal Nurul from her.  No one can steal Nurul from Tommy.  Quickly, Tommy swung his left fist into the man's face.  Then, with all his might plunged his right fist into that gigantic belly, the weakest part of a man.

The trick worked.  The poor Tommy challenger fell to the ground, clutching his stomach.  It's not in vain that Tommy has spent the past five years studying professional boxing.  One thing he learned, size is not as important as the skill to punch a punch to the right place.

“Next time don't be a hindrance between a gentleman and his wife,” Tommy murmured as he moved away from the giant groaning in pain and walked towards where Nurul stood.  Nurul's mouth saw it.

“Let me down!” yelled Nurul who was carried by Tommy.  Nurul beats Tommy on the back and puts Nurul in his car.  Tommy just picked up a sack of rice and nodded to his driver not to let go of Nurul.

Grimly, Tommy faced the grumbling crowd.  Thanks to Nurul and Tommy's miscalculation about Nurul's decision not to marry him, Tommy now experiences a slightly strange situation.

More than one face looked at Tommy suspiciously and a group of rude workers either the driver had just come down and came to Tommy with a defiant face.  Folding his hands on his chest, Tommy pretended to act indifferent.  “Please forgive my wife for any problems she caused. she and I are fighting and this is how she punishes me,” explained Tommy.

“As you can see, he will say anything to attack me,” Tommy said.  “She said Master kidnapped her,” sounded a loud bang from the crowd.  Tomy grunting.  “Come on, do you really think that I need to kidnap a woman in order to be my companion?  Besides I told the innkeeper that she was my wife and she had taken advantage of every opportunity to behave as my wife.  But at that time he was not angry with me,” said Tommy.

Tommy looked at them with a sad look.  Challenger Tommy stood staggered, looking alert as well as stubborn.  “She said that you want to take advantage of her.  He said so,” said the man.

“I have to plead guilty to that,” Tommy said.  Tommy forced a smile on his face.  “I quite often take advantage of my beautiful wife, but in retrospect who wouldn't behave like that?” said Tommy.

Tommy was relieved when he heard some people among the crowd chuckling.  “Unfortunately,” further Tommy. “He hates leaving his friends he likes in Jakarta because during the week stay in our new home.  He expressed his wish very clearly a few months ago,” Tommy said.

Tommy sighed excessively.  “But shit, there's a business assignment.  I really like it if I can take my wife with me to the countryside where I can. Hahaha.

Tommy could feel the doubt engulfing them all of a sudden.  Their strong beliefs about the immoral deeds of honorable men are confronted with their equally strong beliefs about the often erratic change of mind of esteemed women.

Then, coupled with Tommy's ability to defeat a man twice his size, it looks set to win the fight.  Although, he did not intend to prove his shrewdness of dueling it.

“Save the money my wife gave you.  You deserve it,” said Tommy.  Tommy makes sure his gaze supports his words, reminding the giant that a conglomerate doesn't seem like a man to play with, especially a rich man whose wife has stolen his wallet.

“Iya, Sir.  I understand,” replied the old man.  Tommy got into his car.  “Wait!”  Tommy froze, wondering if he would finally be attacked by the crowd. Then he turned to the innkeeper, Tommy looked at him with the most haughty look possible.

“Master and wife Tuan will need food,” said the innkeeper.  He sent a maid into the inn and rushed to appear again carrying a basket of food.

“Thank you,” said Tommy.  At least one of these people knew who he was siding with. Tommy's smile was very sincere this time.  “Maybe this is enough to ease my wife's anger so I can take advantage of her immediately,” Tommy joked.

Amidst the increasingly loud laughter this time, Tommy opened the door and got into the car.  Nurul sat on Tommy's side chair.  Putting the food basket in the back room, Tommy threw himself next to Nurul and ordered his driver to drive his car.

As the car drove away from the inn yard, Tommy tried to calm himself down.  It felt like he wanted to strangle Nurul and was afraid that if he looked at Nurul then he would actually do it.  However, in his heart he could not blame Nurul.  He had indeed kidnapped Nurul, even for the good of Nurul.

Tommy blames himself more than anyone.  He should have realized that when Nurul was being very shy at the inn earlier because Nurul pretended to approve of the marriage offered by Tommy.

When Tommy felt confident that he could speak politely, he said, “I hope you no longer have the desire to repeat this stupid thing,” said Tommy.  “Suka-sukaku dong,” says Nurul.  Tommy looked at Nurul, but the woman was looking ahead as if she were unconscious.

The small tremors on Nurul's face failed to conceal the calmness of her voice.  Tommy looked down and saw Nurul's hand clenched tightly in his lap.

“I was going to tell them the truth.  But they trust you.  All you do is eloquently tell me some fairy tales, and they eagerly let you take me away,” Nurul said.

Nurul's voice sounded so hurt that Tommy felt a sting of guilt.  That made him angry.  Nurul says the sentence without any resentment, but he manages to stab Tommy in the heart.

Tommy never made a marriage proposal to anyone and certainly he never expected to make the offer to an innocent girl.  It was strange how he felt so comfortable to say that Nurul was his wife when they were at the inn.

That term should feel bad in his mouth.  However, during Tommy's quarrel with the worker, he never thought of Nurul with another call.  As far as Tommy understands, Nurul has become his wife.  They just don't have a marriage certificate yet to confirm it.

“Tell me, Nurul.  You're declaring that I'm a kidnapper.  Do you really not like my wedding offers?” ask Tommy.  Tommy held his breath to get Nurul's answer.

Nurul's answer is a very meaningful answer to Tommy, without Tommy noticing.  As Nurul did not reply, deep unrest raged in Tommy's heart.  It was more disturbing than Nurul's answer.  “Forget it,” said Tommy tensely.  “That's not important,” he continued.
