Nurul ran around looking for his father. He wanted to make sure that the new santri who came was either Tommy or not. “Assalamu. Paak... Pataak... “ Nurul looking for his father in various rooms without having time to release a large bag on his back.
Nurul then moved to another building. He then turned to the mosque. The mosque is a building that sits between a pesantren complex for women and a complex for men. Nurul's steps stopped, his eyes wide open. He then retreated and hid behind a wall. His heart beats faster. His breath was stifled as he ran away.
But, it seemed like it was not only because of running away, but rather because of someone he had just seen from a distance. Nurul was leaning against the wall all of a sudden, until there was a clash between his backpack and the wall. The hand he had placed on his chest. He tried to calm himself.
The person he just saw was Tommy. Nurul turned the body. He tried to peek out from behind the wall, looking back at the person who had just made it like he had seen a genie.
The man was tall, his contained body covered by a loose shirt with the tip of the clothes not put in a glove roll on his waist. His hair is long, left long even though it does not touch the shoulder. The hair was arranged until it split on the edge, leaving behind some bangs that fell on his forehead.
It was not the style of dress and hairstyle that Nurul could meet with the man. The man was directing some students who were renovating the corner of the mosque. The speech was different, unlike the style of speech that Nurul should have met with the man. Now the style of speech is more like a teacher who explains politely, not a bossy and bossy style of speech.
Which angel was Nurul looking at secretly? “Tommy...” murmur Nurul. That's not the Tommy Nurul knew. This guy is so different. But, his face, yes, it was Tommy's face.
“Astaghfirullahal adziim.” a familiar voice to Nurul is heard reprimanding him from behind. Nurul then turned around and grinned. “Eh, Father,” says Nurul clumsily. “Children secretly steal a glance to people who are not mahram here!” said Nurul's father. Nurul immediately grabbed the back of his father's hand and kissed him. “Assalamu aleikum, Mr.” “Wa aleikumussalam.” “Emh, anu, Pak.. Anu... Tadi Nurul looking everywhere,” said Nurul. “Yes, the Father is now in front of you,” said Nurul's father.
“Bapak didn't tell Nurul that Tommy had come! And you really made it a santri here?” nurul. “Yes, let it be. You want to know who the future son-in-law of Mr.” said Nurul's father. Nurul and his father walked back to their residence, leaving the mosque.
“Prospective son-in-law Father? So Tommy told you he wanted to propose to Nurul?” tanya Nurul with flowers. “Already,” said Nurul's father. “So, when will he.. “ said Nurul impatiently until walking backwards in front of his father. “Yes, until waiting for you to come home here,” replied Nurul's father while holding Nurul's shoulder and turning Nurul's body so that the child did not walk backwards.
“Now Nurul has come home, Sir,” Nurul said with the most radiant smile her father had ever seen. His father smiled and nodded at Nurul. “Later tonight huh? You get ready,” said Nurul's father. “Yeah, it's still a long night, sir. How was it in the afternoon?” nurul bid impatiently. Nurul spoke in his potent tone as a favorite son to his father. “Night!” firmly father. “I-iya, Sir. Night,” said Nurul obediently.
Nurul's father secretly smiled at his daughter's behavior. He then rubbed the hooded head of Nurul while walking hand in hand with his daughter.

“So how, Brother?” nurul's uncle told Nurul's father to ask him the answer to Tommy's heart. “Mumpung Nuruln already here. So, let's just ask Nuruln directly. If you, he will give up his decision with Nurul,” said Nurul's father.
“Nurul? You heard, right, what did your father say? Now from Nuruln herself how?” said uncle Nurul. Nurul's still down. He tried to calm down, because his heart was pounding so fast.
Meanwhile, from behind a wall in the direction of the other room, was hiding a fat female employee and five Nurul juniors. One of them was a peek, then junior Nurul who peeked was knocked on his head to hide behind the wall.
“Bhik.. Ma'am Nurul, Bhik! Mbak Nurul proposed!” said one of Nurul's juniors with a moved face. While the other santriwati hold hands, there are looking at each other with sparkling eyes. “May Nurul accept the man,” said the fat woman. “Iya, Bhik.. Aamiin.. “ says another Nurul junior.
While waiting for Nurul's answer, Nurul's uncle again asked Nurul. “As Nak Tommy said earlier, that Nak Tommy intends to get married in the near future. Are you ready, Nurul? You will go to college now, try to give your answer,” said uncle Nurul.
Nurul's father looked calm and from the look of his face that smiled thinly, as if he had guessed the answer from his daughter. He felt that his daughter had been interested in Tommy for a long time. Until his daughter refused a proposal from another man who had come to them. He guessed, Nurul must have waited for this moment already from far away.
“Iya, Uncle, Mr.. Nurul is willing to marry Tommy within the time to” said Nurul. The words were a cold gust that was blown straight into Tommy's bones. So soothing to the deepest recesses of her self.
“Alhamdulillaaah. said the women who hid from behind the wall. Unknowingly, they forgot to control the volume of their voice. Everyone who was sitting in the living room also turned their heads towards the voices of the young women. Nurul looked timidly wrinkled his forehead when he found out that the women had eavesdropped.
Nurul's father shook his head with a smile knowing the women's actions. The conversation continued. Tommy expressed his willingness to bear the cost of Nurul's college and willing to live in East Java when married later. They also talked about a simple marriage, as Nurul wanted it so.
This story ends beautifully. Eventually, Nurul and Tommy are able to unite in a marriage bond as they should. Tommy had tried his hardest before marrying Nurul, he studied religion, so he became a good priest for Nurul. Nurul completed his studies quickly and with a proud achievement.
During Nurul and Tommy being a married couple, they really enjoyed the wonderful time of dating. Tommy who has academic intelligence also helped Nurul in completing the final task as well as all tips in dealing with the classic problems of final students.
During that time they delayed to have offspring, so that Nurul could focus on completing his studies. Nurul and Tommy enjoy their marriage, a young couple who only spend time alone. This was a happiness that Nurul had never imagined before, as well as Tommy. Her life has changed and Nurul is a fortune to her, which makes her better as she is today.
