Brian and Tommy

A dispute has taken place in public.  When Nurul or Maria is spending their time in a gallery, Tommy arrives.  An inevitable fight between Tommy and Brian.  They finally attacked each other.  Of course Tommy's body is more contained than Brian makes Brian lose.

Nurul, who was on Brian's side, defended him when Brian was knocked down.  “Enough!  Enough Tommy!  If you continue all this, it means you are really a coward who only dare to attack opponents who are helpless!” nurul snapped while holding Brian's head.

“Coward!”  The term stopped Tommy's actions.  As a man he hated that attitude the most.  Nurul took Brian away from there.  They went back to Maria's house.  With a battered face like that, Aunt Lupita invited Brian in.

Nurul as well as his ability in medicine, his soul was called to treat bruises on Brian's face.  Including a bruise on his stomach that has been beaten by Tommy.  Nurul always cared about anyone who was hurt, not a special sympathy for Brian. Nurul only carries out his responsibilities as a medical expert.

Not so with Brian.  Brian captures Maria's concern is a form of sympathy specific to Brian.  Nurul gently wiped the wound on the edge of Brian's broken lip with a cloth dipped in warm water.  “Aw!”  Brian complained because he felt pain.  “Hold-hold, Brother.  Let it heal quickly.  If ga diginiin can be infected,” said Nurul.  Nurul's eyes were completely focused and his face was so close to the wound.

Brian looked at her deeply.  In his heart Brian wanted to move forward to welcome the beautiful face that was in front of him.  He saw those little lips that were talking, they were twitching.  If not at Maria's house, maybe Brian already got the sweet part of the face.

“Lain time no need to babble Tommy's babble again.  Berabe!”  nurul breaks Brian's daydream.  “He is so.  Gua has known him for a long time, it is not strange anymore for the cave,” replied Brian.  “Hah?  How many times have you bonyok rich gini, Kak?” nurul asked while squeezing his wet cloth.

“Udah gaunt.  Bayangin aja, have seven years the same cave as a child,” replied Brian.  “Seven years?  Wonder the cave, brother.  You guys are often together but like to fight rich gini.  Actually what makes you feel at home with him what the hell?” ask Nurul curiously.

The thing that makes Brian always with Tommy is of course the utilization of what he did to Tommy.  But that is certainly not what he told Mary.  “Tommy is a lonely figure.  He lives alone in his house.  The life of the bokap is unclear.  Besides being a neighbor to us, he always needed a cave.  Know for yourself the cave rame like this.  Different from him who is cold.  He always needs a cave,” explains Brian.

The story was quite logical and Nurul believed it.  He often heard that Tommy was indeed the person Brian had told him about.  He also rarely heard from the Tommy family.

Nurul nodded in understanding Brian's explanation.  Nurul initially thought that Tommy and Brian's quarrel was because of him.  Two men fighting over a woman is common.  Nurul understood his position.  It was impossible for him to be able to make Tommy's jealousy ignite because it was caused by his feelings for Nurul or Maria.

For Nurul, Brian and Tommy are just two men who are always fighting self-evidence.  Fighting over Mary is one way of self-evidence.  Now Nurul must stop imagining that someday Tommy will really save his feelings for him.  

After treating Brian's injuries, he also paid his way home, including to Aunt Lupita.

“You're so close, huh?” aunt Lupita told Nurul.  “Kak Brian is Nurul's search candidate, Ma.  He can take us to Icha.  There were witnesses who told Nurul that Brian had an affair with Icha,”, Nurul told Aunt Lupita.

“Oh yes?  Very good progress, darling!” said Aunt Lupita with a happy face.  

Aunt Lupita then tilted her head and frowned.  “But.. “ said the woman.  “But why, Ma?” ask Nurul curiously.  “Entah, Darling.  Hopefully this is just a hunch Mama just mistook.  The way Brian looks at your eyes, his attitude, it's according to Mama shows that he's interested in you, you know!” said Aunt Lupita.

Nurul thinks.  He recalled the story of a student who said that Brian had left his bride-to-be to be with Icha.  It is not impossible now that Brian is interested in Nurul despite having a relationship with Icha.  But this is not told Nurul to Aunt Lupita.  Brian's nature like that will make Aunt Lupita withdraw her freedom to act alone.  Acting with the assistance of Aunt Lupita will only hinder her.

“If so, you continue your search, dear.  Mama believes in you.  We will soon solve this case, Icha we will soon find,” said Aunt Lupita.  “Ma, why the hell, Om Sudarsono not report to the police?” ask Nurul.
