CHAPTER 111 PAST DEBT (S2)

Someone was hiding behind a wall when William realized his presence. That person slightly peeked towards William who had already disappeared. The man resumed his footsteps.

"Have come?" greet Daniel who is currently enjoying the view of London from his bedroom window.

The man approached and sat down beside Daniel. He poured the wine into another empty glass, then asked to toast a Daniel Arlington.

"Did Uncle think about it? This is your eldest daughter's wedding day" The man stared at the same scene.

"Faster is better, isn't it, Steve Arlington?" Daniel looked at the person beside him.

"Did Uncle want to kill me? Why don't you tell Ken to get out of his hiding place?" Steve grinned when there was the right hand and cyber from Arlington.

Ken was shocked when Steve realized his whereabouts. He looked at Daniel who gave the code for him out.

"Hallo is my young cousin" Steve said to Ken without looking back at him.

"Eh." Ken's typical answer is cute and uncaring.

"So, is Uncle going to kill me?" ask Steve again.

"No. Your uncle is old, it's time to retire. Uncle leave Arlington to Laras and you take care of him."

"What if I refuse? I didn't come here to negotiate, Uncle."

Ken started clenching his hands when he heard all the chattering of Steve Arlington. He did not expect that the leader of the white axe gangsters was Steve Arlington, still arguably a close relative of Laras.

"According to the deal at the beginning, Steve. Uncle wants you to keep your promise after Uncle keeps the promise as well. That's what Ken Lian Arlington is here for. He'll be the witness of debt repayment in the past." Daniel turned his head to the side.

Daniel got out of his chair and put his foot in the middle of the room. He looked at Steve who was pulling out his gun and walked towards Daniel. The two of them looked at each other, Daniel looked at his cousin fondly.

"Do, Steve!" daniel's orders were firm.

Ken turned his face away. His tears had already flowed, powerless by the decision of the Uncle. Memories of him fighting with his Uncle on the battlefield, and Daniel's anger swirled in the idol's mind like a broken cassette.

"Uncle, if you meet Daddy later, please tell him that I've already completed his revenge. That I've implemented the path of life from Arlington. What was taken from Arlington, then Arlington will take it back, as well as life" Steve said, staring at Daniel so intently.

"Surely, Steve. Hold on to the life of an Arlington like your father taught you. It's time for your uncle to retire. Let Uncle pay for past mistakes with Uncle's own life. Young people, continue to live in peace." Daniel smiled at Steve.

"Ken, please take care of Emily for Uncle. Take care of Arlington too and make Laras understand your uncle's choice. Come, Ken!" Daniel looked at Ken to get closer.

Steve frowned as Daniel put his hand in the pocket of the pants he was wearing. When Daniel was about to get something out and Ken approached, that's when Steve fired his bullet right into Daniel's hand.

"Suck!" curse Ken and start pointing his gun at Steve.

"Ken!" daniel snapped while holding his hollow hand. Fresh blood shot out from the gunshot wound, dripping onto the floor just like that.

"Steve's! Uncle always keeps his promises! Don't kill Ken or act outside the deal! Ken, take this letter and leave it to Laras! Uncle told me and explained everything in that envelope in case you couldn't calm Laras down." Daniel's gaze really made Steve shudder in horror and took a step back.

Ken picked up the letter whose envelope was covered in Daniel's blood. The trembling hand made Ken crouch after receiving the letter. He cried, the memories with the Uncle from childhood until this moment revolved.

"Steve's! After killing Uncle, make sure you escape through the window like Uncle's command." Daniel looked at Steve who just nodded his head.

"Remember Steve! One bullet won't work on your uncle's body! Do it three times if you need five shots. Do your job as Arlington! Your father's revenge on Uncle, son!"

Suddenly Daniel recalls getting information about the leader of the white axe gangsters from David, his right-hand man in New York. That's when he received a call from Steve Arlington until a peace deal was formed.

"Steve!" call Daniel when Steve is still thinking and hesitating. Daniel kept pressing and started saying something nasty about himself and Steve's father.

"Shut up, Uncle!" steve snapped the unconscious and fired two bullets right in Daniel's heart.

At that moment Daniel immediately collapsed onto the floor. His breathing began to look irregular, even he occasionally coughed up to bleed from his mouth. Ken ran straight to his uncle.

"Eyeah!" ken yelled so bitterly.

Steve was shocked and his lips trembled. He did not expect that the first person he killed was his own uncle. Steve was a leader of a dark organization, but his hands were still clean. He handed the task of killing to his men, whereas he played cunningly using his brain.

He walked up to Daniel who looked helpless again. "Pa-pa-paman," call Steve in disbelief.

"Steve, you're a good boy uhuk ... hah …." Daniel coughed up blood.

Daniel's breath began to look one by one when his lungs were deprived of oxygen. Ken cried in silence to see Daniel dying like this. Ken could have called the generals Arlington, but Daniel forbade him. Daniel had already decided to die at the hands of Steve Arlington, the son of his uncle Daniel Arlington.

"Go!" throw Ken out in a soft tone at Steve who was beside him.

"What about Uncle?" ask Steve who also cried in silence even though it was not as bad as Ken.

"Go! Don't look your face in front of me! My chest was filled with flames of anger. My sense of revenge is stirring. Please go STEVE ARLINGTON!" said Ken with a clash at the end of his sentence.

Steve immediately ran out the window, there was already a helicopter, waiting for Steve to ride. He looked at his uncle for the last time.

"Good way, Uncle. I don't hate, Uncle. Until I meet my Daddy," muttered Steve softly and then climbed up to the rope ladder which was lowered from the helicopter.

While in the room, Ken cried in silence. Tears can't be shed anymore. Slowly Daniel's hands began to weaken and feel cold.

"Ken, stop uhuk .. uhuk ... mena .. cry, uhuk ... uhuk …."

Daniel forced to speak even though he was always coughing and bleeding more and more from his mouth. While his hollow chest continued to bleed endlessly.

"Please promise Uncle Ken."

"Yes, Ken promised Uncle. Ken promised to keep it all. Ken will keep this peace. Ken's gonna take care of Emily. Ken won't take revenge. Ken will also be guarding Arlington. Ken also will not waste Uncle's sacrifice" said Ken with his hoarse voice still crying.

"Thank you, Ken."

It was then that Daniel's hand instantly weakened and drooped helplessly. Ken cried even more, he clenched his uncle's body, no matter if his whole body was covered in blood.

"Uncle, awake!" ken said trying to wake Daniel even though he realized it was free.

"Geez!"
