CHAPTER 33 I NEED ... KEN

William sat on the bedside chair holding Meyrin's hand. He stared at Meyrin's peaceful face in a dream cradle. The woman's lips and face looked pale but not as pale as they were in the ambulance.

Suddenly Rama and Lea enter Meyrin's room. William looked at Lea whose clothes were now back neat.

"It seems the woman replaced it first," William's inner self.

Rama approached and handed William a paper bag, "Change clothes first, sir."

William did not answer, but he went from the chair to the bathroom that became one with Meyrin's room. After William's death, Lea immediately approached her young lady. The face that had been firm and ordinary, now instantly faded away instantly.

The pale face of Meyrin makes Lea's lip line curve downward. Sadness and worry were clearly visible on the assistant's face. While Rama just stood beside the entrance with his flat face.

Meyrin slowly opened her eyes and smiled as she saw Lea was beside her. As his black bead stared around, Meyrin instantly widened her two eyes.

"Lea, take me home from here!" meyrin pinta.

"Can't!" ban William who just came out of the bathroom.

"No! I gotta get out of here. Lea, please take me home! Please, "please, please Meyrin, cold sweat begins to wet her forehead.

"Good, Miss. I'll take care of your return today."

"Who will allow you!" William prevents Lea by blocking the hands of Meyrin's assistant.

Lea immediately threw out William's hand checks with ease. He looked at Meyrin and William in turn, thinking of something. Until a decision is made he gets.

"Don't touch me, sir! Please pay attention to who you are dealing with. My leader asked to go home and as his subordinate, that request should be granted! So, on what right do you forbid me to comply with Miss Meyrin's request?" lea asked with a sharp look.

Like there was an invisible knife piercing right in William's heart. All of Leah's words are true. On the basis of what William Anderson Plowden forbade Meyrin to return home. Even he had no rights whatsoever to the woman, other than the one night stand mistake.

Seeing William speechless and Meyrin's deteriorating condition, Lea immediately walked out of the room. The woman took care of all the return of her young lady. He'll ask for an outpatient.

Before long, Lea came with a doctor and two nurses. They checked Meyrin's condition, looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"After I checked, Mrs Plowden's postoperative circumstances were all normal. However, to avoid the side effects of dope, I recommend to wait another 3-5 hours." The doctor explained at the same time gave advice.

"How, Miss?" ask Lea.

"Just wait, but let me take the drug," Meyrin asked Lea.

"What medicine does the Lady ask for, sir?" ask the doctor.

"It's the doctor" Lea handed him a packet of medicine that he always took with him everywhere.

Wrinkles on the forehead of the doctor was obvious when he found out what drug Meyrin meant. The doctor looked at Lea and the one who was stared at confirmed the doctor's thoughts by nodding his head.

"I recommend not taking this drug post-surgery. You can use other ways, for example naturally. Then excuse us." The doctor handed the medicine back to Lea.

The doctor and the two nurses came out of Meyrin's room. On top of the bed was Meyrin who was beginning to fidget. William looked at Rama and they spoke through his eyes.

Rama came straight out of Meyrin's room and it made Lea suspicious. He wanted to follow her, but he was worried about the state of his young miss.

"If there's any business, hand Meyrin over to me. I'll try to keep him calm" William said.

"Thank you, sir."

Leah came out of the room and looked for the figure of Rama. True to his expectations, Rama spoke to the doctor who had examined Meyrin.

"Mistress Plowden's condition is fine, just sa—"

"Miss Meyrin is traumatized by the hospital. Two years ago, she suffered that trauma. Is that what you want to ask?" timpal Lea stared at Rama so intensely.

Rama pulls Leah's hand and takes her to the end of the hallway. The man frowned making sure no one was eavesdropping. Once he felt safe, he looked at Lea, judging.

"What happened to Mrs Laras?" rama asked with a flat expression.

"You know?"

"of course. I have my own informant who can investigate it. Madame Laras told me to keep my mouth shut."

"What And—"

"No. After all, Madame Laras remains my superior who must obey her orders as well."

"I can't tell you in detail. But, the outline of the incident happened two years ago before I became his personal assistant. The incident caused Miss Meyrin to lose Grand Lady Bella Arlington. The Great Mistress died in the hospital after previously saving Miss Meyrin. That's why Miss Meyrin was traumatized by the hospital" Lea said.

"Did Madam often take the drug?"

"At first yes. But, after Mr. Ken returned from his tour, the medicine was forgotten by Miss."

"Ken Lian?"

"Yes, Mr. Ken Lian Arlington, the cousin of Miss Liu Meyrin or you know as Mrs Laras" Lea said.

"Why Mr Ken again?" muttered Rama with a soft tone.

"What's wrong with Mr Ken?" tanya Lea pretended not to understand with Rama's murmur.

"It's okay. Forgetit. Then, we'll be back in the room. I'm afraid something has happened to Madam" asked Rama.

Lea nodded her head in response. They returned to the room without anyone talking.

Arriving at the room, they are shocked to see William unable to calm Meyrin down. Seen Meyrin was panting, sweat had flooded her hospital clothes.

"Gee!" call Meyrin when she sees her personal assistant.

Lea immediately approached, taking a towel to wipe the sweat that was pouring on her young miss's face. The lady's breath was still one-on-one with a frown on her forehead.

"Miss, apaka—"

"I need .. Ken," said Meyrin.

Like being struck by lightning, William did not believe that his presence meant nothing to Meyrin. Meyrin would rather need Ken than him. A William has no rights over Meyrin. Unlike Ken who is Meyrin's fiancee even has children.

Hearing Meyrin say Ken's name, made his chest ache. William stayed away, giving Lea some space. He saw the assistant pull out the phone and handed it to Meyrin.

"Hi Sweetie," said someone across the street, but Meyrin did not answer.

"Lea, what's wrong with Meyrin?" kennie began to worry.

Hearing Ken's alarming voice, William's chest rippled. There is a sense of defeat before war. I don't know why he wanted a Meyrin so badly. Though when chasing Laras, he was not this crazy.

What happened to William?
