CHAPTER 38 KEN IS ANGRY

Ken had just finished his meeting, his face looking disheveled. This meeting did not go well. Many problems and obstacles that make him have to think of a way out.

Alex comes over to Ken while giving up his boss's phone. Ken stared at his phone and personal assistant in turn. Nothing is suspicious.

"Master, Miss Emily called you. Then, a few minutes ago Lea also contacted you."

"Get into my room!" ken's orders.

Ken threw his body on the couch in the room. Alex gets close and brings Ken Lian's favorite cup of hot chocolate. Ken didn't budge, but Alex stood there, waiting for orders from his big boss.

"What's my schedule next?" ken asked, closing both eyes. His hands are massaging the base of the nose.

"Jam 2 will have a meeting with the producer of the new album, then at 3 o'clock there is a photo shoot with a famous brand. Jam 5 ada—"

"Cancel everything. I'm gonna go check on the club." Ken interrupted his assistant's report.

"Good, Sir."

"Then phone from Miss Lily ba—"

"Miss Lily?" Ken opened his eyes and looked at Alex with a suspicious look.

"I mean, Miss Emily, sir," Alex immediately corrected her mistake.

"Give me that phone and remember! No connection with Emily. You got it, right?"

"Don't understand, sir."

Alex immediately hands Ken's personal phone. After that he returned to his desk which became one with Ken's room.

Ken changed his position to sit up, looking lazily at his phone. She knew, if Emily called her, then it must have something to do with Alex. But, if Lea had contacted him, Meyrin would have been in trouble.

"Why can't these two cousins hide their identities anyway" Ken murmured.

First, Ken contacted Emily, which of course would be a simple matter. The first call had no answer. Ken tried again on the second call and connected straight away.

"Sir Ken!" exclaim Emily across there.

"Just talk to the point Lily. I'm too busy to take care of your trivial matters."

"Then, you just send Alex to take care of my problems" Emily replied casually.

"Lily, Alex is his personal assistant and his manager's brother. If you want to change manager, then brother will tell Mey—"

"No need! I'll stick with this manager. There's enough scrutiny from Meyrin's sister, I don't want to add to her burden anymore" Emily said in a disappointed tone.

"All right, I'll hang up."

Without waiting for an answer from Emily, Ken immediately ended his call. She can see during the call with Emily, Alex slightly steals a look at her. He tried a fool with his assistant's attitude.

Next, Ken searches for Lea's name on the contact list and presses the green button on his phone screen. First ring directly connected.

"Mr Ken, you've finally contacted me."

There was a voice of worry and relief at Lea's tone. Ken frowned, something must be happening to Meyrin. Ken gave Alex the code to bring him his laptop.

Alex, who was aware of the code from his big boss, immediately moved away from his desk. Stepping definitely towards the only big table that was in the middle of the room. He takes the Boss' laptop and takes it to the couch where Ken is.

"What's the matter, Lea?" ken asked after the laptop was ready for operation.

"Look, Mr …." Thereafter flows the story of the attack on the Mayor that occurred in La Fenice by Lea.

Ken flanked his phone between his shoulders and ears. The focus this time split into two, listening to Meyrin's personal assistant's story as her hands began to trace the location of the incident.

Ken began entering his codes to hack the security system at the La Fenice Opera House. Of course he had to do very carefully and carefully so as not to be caught. A frown of confusion adorned his forehead when he found nothing.

"Lea, when did that happen?"

"Okay, continue!"

Lea continued the story that had been interrupted earlier. This time, she told me about the time her young lady was taken to the hospital and the trauma of Meyrin's recurrence.

"Did William's paranoia recur?" ken asked, still focused on his laptop screen.

"Yes, Sir."

"God! They're both completely insane. Hopefully Meyrin and William can get back together."

"Sorry, then what about Mr Ken?" lea asked who felt a tinge of sadness at Ken's voice.

"Hey, you're the same as Meyrin used to be. I'm Ken Lian, it's so easy to get a woman, as easy as a flick of a finger" snob Ken.

"As far as you. So, did you find anything?"

"I'm hacking into the security system of the La Fenice Opera House. It's just finished, just looking for the date record ... why is that?"

"What's up, Mister?" ask Meyrin.

"Wait a minute. Alex, please get the phone in the desk drawer!" ken's orders to his assistant.

Alex rushed over, knowing which phone his boss was referring to. A black phone where the screen on the phone was slightly cracked. Alex immediately handed it to Ken who was still busy with his laptop.

"Lea, wait a minute, I want to call someone" said Ken but did not end his call with Lea.

Alex's cell phone is just a few contacts that relate to his identity as Jack. He's looking for Armand, the right-hand man of Nikolai Stevano.

"Yes! Ken," said Armand.

"Do you want to explain something, Armand?" ken Fishing.

"As usual, you don't like to be confused. At least greet your opponent first," replied Armand.

"Armand, I'm not as happy as you are now enjoying the holidays" Ken said.

"Damn it! This is Mr. Nikolai's request to stay here" Armand replied.

"Yes, yes and Mr. Nikolai succeeded in making the island of Acasia his territory. Give my regards to her."

"Mr Nikolai heard it. I turned on the loudspeaker."

"Damn it!" caprice Ken.

"Is there a problem, Ken?" nikolai asked unhappy with Ken's curse.

"There was. What are you doing on the CCTV footage at the La Fenice Opera House?" ask Ken who's getting serious.

"Of course hack it. William I've considered a nephew myself. Of course I'll help him from behind. So before he asks, I will prepare the information he needs first. Is that your problem?" clear and ask Nikolai.

"Sir Ken, is there a problem?" this time it was Leah's turn to ask.

Ken also uses a loudspeaker mode on Lea-connected phones. Ken was silent, not answering. Nikolai, Armand and Lea also fell silent, waiting for Ken to answer. While Ken closed his eyes while massaging his forehead that felt throbbing.

"Mr Nikolai, can you send me the video footage?" ask Ken at last.

"Say what first! We're business people, there has to be something I accept, right?" Nikolai across there looks so relaxed.

"I suspect Mr. Nikolai's enemy. But it's just suspicion" replied Ken.

"Armand, you give me what the boy wants. I'm going to see Ariana."

Then the door opened and closed again.

"Damn it! Goddamn bum! Fvck you! Did you do something behind my back?" ken finally. The anger he had been holding back from earlier had already.

Ken is angry too.
