CHAPTER 21 WELCOME TO VENICE

"Shiits!" william's voice is still heard by Meyrin.

Without saying much more, William immediately left Meyrin just like that. Meyrin who saw that smiled triumphantly. Looks like the woman's plan will go smoothly without a hitch.

Meyrin called Lea and asked for her tab. He checked the incoming emails as well as other reports. The woman's forehead frowned as her gaze fell on an email sender's name.

"Did Ken call me?" meyrin asked the faithful Lea standing beside her.

"It seems so, Miss. Mr. Ken called me earlier and told me to tell Miss to check the email she sent" Lea said, with a nod of understanding from Meyrin.

Meyrin immediately clicked on Ken Lian's name in the inbox, ignoring the other emails. The woman smiled at Ken's email. On his laptop screen was a photo of Ken with a little boy about 2.5 years old.

As Meyrin was focusing on looking at the little boy's face, she suddenly gasped in shock. The voice of Capt Mario who said that all 10 minutes they will land at Marco Polo Airport in Venice, Italy. Meyrin's heart heard that it was beating so fast that her spirit.

William had just come out of his room. He chose to sit on a different chair to Meyrin. Seeing that, the smile of victory rang on Meyrin's thin lips.

William installed his seatbelt preparing for landing as well as Meyrin. William's forehead frowned when he saw Meyrin's hand gripping the handle of the chair firmly.

"Is he scared?" inner William.

Out of nowhere, William moved out of his chair. He moved to sit next to Meyrin. Without excuse, William clasped Meyrin's hand, intent on calming the woman down.

"What's this?" meyrin asked in a cold tone.

"Calm down, everything's gonna be fine" William said.

The plane landed at Marco Polo Airport in Venice, Italy. William and Meyrin get off the plane followed by their personal assistants. A few bodyguards were ready there, in front of the entrance to the VVIP lounge.

A man with two women approached the two of them. A sweet smile was given by William and Meyrin. Unknowingly, both of their hands were still clinging to each other. Rama who saw it so confused himself especially Lea. Meyrin's personal assistant knew very well that her young lady was the most anti-same as a boy.

"Welcome to Venice, Mr. Plowden and Ms. Arlington" the man bowed respectfully.

William and Meyrin simply nodded their heads in response. Do not forget the sweet smile of two heirs of the business empire in Lunar City was given. The aura of leadership as well as intimidation emanated on their faces.

The man told the woman who was to his right side to come forward. He took a flower arrangement that was formed in a circular shape and then, he draped it to William. The second network, channeled to Meyrin.

After finishing with her task, the woman returned to the back right side of the middle-aged man. Replacing the woman on the left side who is forward, parallel to the welcoming man.

The man handed over two room key cards each to William and Meyrin. Afterwards the woman retreated back after saluting.

A man aged 35 and over approached William and Meyrin. Italians are native because of their distinctive face.

"Hello William, how are you?" greet the man extending his hand to shake hands.

"Uncle Adriano! Good news. Uncle himself how?" William took off his hand at Meyrin and shook the hand of the man who was named Adriano.

Meyrin flinched and looked at her hand that William had just removed. He blinked his eyes as he only realized that their hands had been interlocked since then.

Meyrin sees William chatting with someone she calls Adriano. It is seen that occasionally the woman can catch William using Italian.

"Okay uncle, know him Liu Meyrin. Representative of Arlington Group." William introduced Meyrin to Adriano.

"Ah of course I know this Miss Meyrin. The most wanted girl in Lunar City. Greetings to Miss. Mr. Aite often tells me about you." Adriano extended his hand.

Meyrin welcomed the helping hand and smiled sweetly, "Thank you Mr. Adriano. Greetings to know too."

Adriano began giving codes to his servants and bodyguards. Those who were aware of the code immediately bowed respectfully and left from there.

"Come, we'll head straight to the hotel where you've been staying for the whole time." Adriano walked first.

William and Meyrin walk after Adriano. While Rama and Leah walked behind them and on the right-left side and behind there were several guards guarding the five of them.

When they wanted to get out of the airport, many journalists were calling Meyrin by name. Meyrin was confused and several bodyguards immediately dispelled the reporters.

"Miss Meyrin, can you have a minute?" ask a reporter.

All stared at Meyrin, asking for approval while the woman was still silent on the spot. The understanding Lea immediately drew closer to Meyrin, she whispered something to the young lady.

"ah! Why did I forget?" lirih Meyrin after remembering her boyfriend in Lunar City.

"Mr Adriano, can you give me a few minutes to answer some questions?" ask Meyrin.

"No problem, Miss."

After which, Meyrin walked over to the reporters. Lea walked beside him with a few bodyguards. Meyrin smiled welcoming the reporters, the camera flash immediately hit the beautiful face of the woman.

"Miss Meyrin, what is your purpose for coming to Venice?"

"Where is Ken Lian? Why did you come with the sole heir of the Plowden family?"

"Are you involved in a scandal with young master Plowden?"

There are still many questions that come to make Meyrin confused about which one to answer. Meyrin was speechless trying to summarize the gist of the reporters' questions.

"Miss Meyrin, why are you silent? Please give the clarification to us and the Ken fans!" shouted some reporters.

"I will answer and it represents everything. First, Ken is currently in Lunar replacing me taking care of Arlington's company. Second, I was in Venice because there was a business trip. Thirdly, there is no special relationship between me and young master Plowden, all purely out of cooperation."

"Miss Meyrin, what is your relationship with the Rizzo family?" ask someone in the crowd of reporters.

"Rizzo's? Who's that?" whispers began to be heard when the name Rizzo was thrown.

Meyrin rounded her eyes after not hearing the name again for two years. The woman swept her eyes at the reporters and looked for who asked.

At the end of the hallway, Meyrin saw the silhouette of a person. His steps instantly retreated instantly in shock. Lea who noticed it immediately brought her young miss back to William's entourage.

"Come, Miss!" bring Lea.
