CHAPTER 75 IS AT WAR WITH TIME

Meyrin, who had just arrived at the hospital, was suddenly in critical condition. Meyrin's vault was immediately pushed towards the Emergency Unit (UGD) room for intensive treatment.

Lea started to panic, and so did Ken. Ken's mind couldn't calm down anymore, he didn't know what to do at a time like this. Before long, a little nurse peeked behind the door of the ER room.

"Sir, this lady is being poisoned. The doctor is trying to neutralize the poison. But, Miss is bleeding. If any of the family has a gold blood type, can do a transfusion. We're out of stock of this type of golden blood." The nurse explained Meyrin's state of emergency.

Lea, who saw that Ken could not digest anything, took the initiative to contact Daniel Arlington. He briefly explained the situation of his young lady.

After that the call ended. Lea sent me the address of the hospital where Meyrin was treated. One hour, two hours doctors still haven't come out of the ER room. Ken walked back and forth like an iron.

Luckily Daniel is currently in London. Flights from London to Venice take about two hours. Daniel just arrived at the hospital.

At that time a nurse again asked for blood donors because Meyrin's condition inside was very critical. Daniel immediately approached the nurse and told her to take as much blood as he could.

The nurse took Daniel into the ER room. The man who was already entering the five heads could see his eldest daughter lying on top of the gurney. Meyrin was so shady in her sleep that Daniel could not bear to see her. Moreover, the child's body is currently the focus of several doctors wearing surgical uniforms.

The nurse asked Daniel to lie down and began installing a hose for a direct blood transfusion. There was no time for Meyrin to wait.

"Doctor, her blood pressure is dropping" said the nurse.

The surgeon in charge of direct medical measures to raise Meyrin's blood pressure. Unfortunately, that has no effect. Daniel prayed in his heart for the princess to be well. She hopes Beautiful and Bella can help Meyrin return to the world.

The eldest daughter was still too young to leave this world. He can't be a good father to Meyrin. There was too much burden on Meyrin, so Meyrin focused only on her father's happiness and the security of the Arlington family.

The doctor kept trying. Various drugs to raise blood pressure have been given but no change. Sounds like alarms on the monitor are still being heard.

"Meiin! Don't joke with me, son!" shouted Daniel.

"Master, relax! The doctor will do his best for your daughter." The nurse who guarded the course of the transfusion calmed Daniel.

The doctor immediately asked for a defibrillator on the nurse. Defibrillator is an electric shock device to restore abnormal heart rhythms to normal again.

Doctors rubbed two surfaces together and placed them on Meyrin's chest. The body of the Arlington family's eldest daughter jumped up and then lay back in her safe. The action was carried out many times until Meyrin's heart rate returned to normal.

Finally, after four shocks to Meyrin's heart, the humming sound on the monitor screen could no longer be heard. The doctors stared at the only screen in the room. A long sigh rang out as all the data on the screen showed normal numbers.

The doctors resumed surgery to remove the poison and after giving the antidote.

When Meyrin was struggling between life and death, unlike William who was indulging in his wife.

"Darling, what do you want to ask?" asked William again when he did not get an answer from his wife.

"Forget me, honey."

"No! I'll never forget you until death picks me up" William argued without thinking.

Laras fell silent upon hearing William's resolute reply with no hesitation at all. The woman stared at her reflection in the mirror that was currently sitting on the lap of the husband. They look so harmonious and romantic.

Barrel brushed off William's mischievous hand. Her husband's hand, which was on the thigh of his wife, slowly but surely began to enter the dress. The revealing white dress made William's hand so easy to enter without a hitch.

"William, I'm serious" Laras said as he puffed his cheeks.

"Hahaha .. You're adorable, sweetie." William immediately stole a kiss on the lips of the wife who was always his candlestick.

"Darling, I'm just asking you to forget me and accept Meyrin's love. Accept all his shortcomings in the past like he accepted your paranoia" Pinta Laras.

"I'll try to accept Meyrin, but I don't promise to forget you, honey. Oya, there's something I want to talk to you about." William answered his wife's request while kissing Laras's anxious cheeks, even occasionally the man bit his beloved wife's puffed cheeks.

"What's wrong?" ask Laras.

William began to show his serious face. "I'm sorry for three years ago at the office. I didn't mean to harm your family. It's all just sheer nonsense, ak—"

"No need to continue anymore. I already know the truth. Therefore, I ask you to accept Meyrin and forget me."

"My answer remains the same and will not change."

"I love you, dear," whispered Laras in William's ear.

"I love you too, my wife." William kisses Laras forehead lovingly.

Afterwards William brought the wife's tiny body into his warm embrace. They both embrace each other, hug each other, enjoy the beating of each other's hearts. The leaflet is still the same as it was three years ago.

William is the same person as in the past, as well as the figure of Laras. However, they both live not for the past, but for a better future. William closed his eyes, smelling the scent of jasmine that he had always longed for.
