CHAPTER 56 MEYRIN COMPLAINS

As Meyrin was about to return to the mansion, the woman crossed paths with Aite. Aite's face was so red it held back anger. Meyrin knew what made her pet angry.

"Don't torture him again. I've done it for you. It's all done, isn't it?" meyrin looked at Aite, trying to calm her pet.

"None Miss. Thank you." Thank you." Aite bowed respectfully to Meyrin.

"It's okay as long as Uncle's mansion is safe. Don't forget after dinner we'll meet again about what happened."

"Good, Miss."

"Oy Uncle, don't forget to call the family doctor to treat Buz's wounds. I don't want him getting worse before meeting his boss" Meyrin ordered.

"Ready, Miss."

After that Meyrin again continued her footsteps to climb the stairs. While Aite went down the stairs to his basement. He will follow the orders of the leader. Ken has a meeting with investors with Alex.

They parted in front of the bedroom door leading to the basement. Suddenly something shook in Lea's pants pocket. The burly woman immediately picked up something that shook earlier. The phone that turned out to belong to a Liu Meyrin vibrated indicating an incoming call.

"Miss, Mr. Daniel is calling you." Lea handed the phone to Meyrin.

Meyrin instantly shifted the green button on her phone screen and greeted her father. "Hello, Dad."

"Mey, have you found out who the spy is? Are you hurt, honey? Do you have to intervene now?" Daniel flings Meyrin with questions. Meyrin could hear the tone of voice of concern for her father.

"Meyrin's okay, Dad. Everything is safe. I'm calm and focused on New York."

"Father has paralyzed Cavendish's subordinates and is left to take care of his princes and the leader himself" explained Daniel.

"Even so, you still have to be careful. I got a tip from Uncle Nikolai that Cavendish is a mobster known for his cunning all over New York."

"Yes, Son. You take good care of yourself with Ken. How's your mission progress?" ask Daniel across the street.

Meyrin opened the door of her room and lay down on her soft bed. He could see Lea who was busy back and forth preparing something. Closing both eyes and hiding his black net. The iPhone is still faithful to his ears.

"Mey?" call Daniel in a worried tone for not getting a response from his eldest daughter.

"William will sign the divorce papers between him and Laras. But ...," Meyrin hung up her sentence.

"But what, son?"

"William wants Liu Meyrin to be his legal wife" Meyrin replied in a weary tone.

"Do you still love her, son? Dad is the same as before and will be like before. Sorry if Dad told you to do this mission 'cause—"

"Dad wanted me to know how I felt about William after three years of separation. I hope that feeling will not come up again. However, feelings that are more than just love appear. I'm obsessed with William. I want to have that man completely. I want my husband to just stare and be mine. Is Meyrin selfish for still wanting a holy William?" Meyrin complained to her father.

"Son, listen to me! Whether it's Laras or Meyrin, your position is the same as ever. If Laras used to be loved by William and Ken because of his tenderness, then today these two men love Meyrin again because of her firmness and courage. I can't force my will on you, Mey. You've grown up and made your own decisions, I'll just stand by you, support all your decisions."

Hearing the words of his father, tears involuntarily flowed down the river in both of his eyes. The pieces of her first meeting with William until this morning revolved in her mind. So also about the dark period two years ago, where there was only Ken, Ken and Ken.

Ken is the light in the darkness of the world. Ken was the one who became his spirit at a time when there was only melancholy in the life of a Meyrin. It was Ken who always brought joy to Meyrin's life.

"Meiin! You okay, son?" ask Daniel again across the street with a worried tone.

"It's okay Dad. Meyrin was a little daydreaming" Meyrin replied in a calming tone.

"Yes, rest then. I miss you and Emily."

After that the call ended. Meyrin throws her cell phone over her head. He also spread out both hands on his queen size mattress.

Lea just came out of the walk in closet with a dress. It made Meyrin frown, confused. Tonight, he has no plans or appointments with anyone.

Lea who noticed the confusion of her young miss, walked over. "Tonight Mr. William invited Miss to dinner."

"Ooh."

Meyrin stared at the wall clock that showed at 4 p.m. Meyrin nodded her head in a sign of agreement.

"Tell Uncle Aite and the others, the meeting will be held tomorrow only. Then tell William we're going straight to the location."

"Good, Miss." Lea came out of the room after putting Meyrin's dress on the hanger, next to the dresser.

Meyrin moved from her position and walked towards the dressing table. The hair that had been tied up rolled him open, to make his mane fall unravel. The woman looked at her reflection in front of the mirror. A faint smile rose on Meyrin's thin lips.

"It turns out I'm this sad, '" said Meyrin.

Meyrin then walked towards her soft bed again. He perfectly stretched out his body and closed his eyes. Meyrin wanted to sleep soundly without the shadow of events two years ago.

"All right."

After that Rama ended his phone call. He went back into the room where his young master was waiting. In the room, William is busy with his laptop. A pair of glasses perched sweetly on the nose of the Plowden family's business empire.

"Master, Miss Meyrin accepted your dinner invitation, "reported William.

"Allow Uncle Nikolai to enter the room." orders William who does not distract him from the laptop.

"Good, Sir."

After that Rama came out of his master's room. It turned out that Nikolai had just gotten out of the elevator and was walking towards Rama. William's personal assistant bowed respectfully as Nikolai Stevano stood in front of him. Next to Nikolai as usual, there was the loyal Armand.

"Sir William is waiting for you in his room, sir. Let me take you to the room" said Rama who began walking in front of Nikolai and Armand.

"There's no Meyrin?" nikolai asked following Rama from behind and Armand beside him slightly retreated.

"The lady is on business, sir," replied Rama straightforwardly.

Nikolai stopped his steps and looked at Rama's back which was slightly far in front of him. Rama, sensing that Nikolai was not following him, stopped his steps and turned around.

Sure enough, Nikolai with Armand slightly left behind Rama. Rama turned and approached his young master's co-operation.

"What's up, Mister?" ask Rama.

"You call Meyrin, madam? So …."

So what is Uncle? Very awkward to talk about
