CHAPTER 123 WHAT HAPPENED TO STEVE ARLINGTON (S2)

All stared at Ken, while the one stared at Laras. This was news that Ken had just heard and he had not expected Laras to make a decision without discussion with him first.

"Sir, is this serious?" Emily stared at Laras.

"Laras, what does this mean? Why did I just know about this?" ken asked not to accept the decision of his cousin.

"Ken, this is my decision as a leader. Please, take over my leadership."

"I don't have a right to that. Ma—" Ken's remarks were cut off by King's words.

"I agree with the boss." King raised his right hand.

"I agree too." This time it was the Joker who approved the Boss' decision.

"I also agree, Boss," Queen said.

Laras smiled as his three generals agreed with the decision he took. He looked at Aite who was still speechless staring at Laras and Ken.

"Uncle Aite, is there anything you want to say with my decision?" tanya Laras looked at Aite who seemed to want to say something but was detained.

"Sir William, what do you think of the Madam's decision? Do you not mind?" Aite looked at William.

Those who agreed with Baras' decision, finally realized something. Their little boss was no longer alone, there was a husband who had full responsibility on Laras. King, the Joker and Queen bow their heads having forgotten the fact that there was a William who had the right to replace Laras.

"I agree with my wife's decision. Ken, please replace the leadership of Laras for me if you refuse to take his orders. If you mind, at least replace my wife's leadership while she's pregnant." William looked at Ken and Laras smilingly received an answer from the husband.

"Ken, however, I will still monitor the organization. I'm not gonna take my hands off and leave. It's just, I don't want to jump into battle during my pregnancy" said Laras.

"In exchange, I'll jump into battle. But, I need the generals of the Arlington mafia to teach me" William added.

"Huh?" Laras looked at William, while the generals looked at his little boss for advice on answers.

"No! Your hands are clean and mismatched, Will," Baras protested.

"At least there will be Ken and your generals who will take care of me. How's it?"

"Can you teach my husband?" ask Baras to his four generals. "What do you think, Ken?" Laras also questioned his cousin's opinion.

"I agree. Let me teach him. I'll take your lead during pregnancy. After that I returned to the position as the right hand, how about?"

"Agreed." Laras reached out his hand to shake hands with Ken, their sign of agreement. Ken greeted him and an applause sounded.

"Don't touch my wife for too long, Ken," hardened William brushed off Ken's hand that still shook Laras's hand.

"Now we have breakfast." William stared resentfully at Ken as Laras defended his rival.

The news of William and Ken becoming rivals when he captured the heart of his little boss is no longer a secret. Moreover, William's possessive attitude, do not like to see his own touched by others. While Ken with his super gentle attitude and not willing to succumb to successfully gain the full trust of a Baras.

"I want a meeting after breakfast is over" said Laras.

"Good, Boss."

Then they started to enjoy breakfast the next morning. No one spoke because it was a rule from Arlington that everyone had to obey.

"Sister, Emily will go to Korea after this. Brother-in-law please take care of my brother and my niece-in-law" Emily told Laras and William.

"Be careful on the road, honey."

"You can trust me." 

"Queen please escort Lily," Laras ordered.

"Good, Boss."

After Queen and Emily left, they continued to eat breakfast.

William had just finished giving Rama an order to take care of the company directly. He still wants to take a leave of absence. As did his wife, well although William admitted that Laras was very competent in his work.

Queen has just arrived at the mansion after escorting young Miss Arlington to the airport. A butler conveys a message to Queen to immediately go to the meeting room.

"Thank you." Queen walked straight into the room.

There, in the room all the leaders of the group were already in their respective positions. Queen went straight to her seat. All of them sat on the same seats with different formations. The seat of Daniel Arlington, the former leader was replaced by William.

Seen on the screen was Armand. Ken made a video call with Armand at Laras' command.

"Just get to the point. Armand, is the security code at William's Lunar City hotel all set?" tanya Laras started her meeting.

"Yes, Madam. Is there a problem?"

"Ken, play the CCTV footage yesterday and please pay attention until the video is over." Laras looked at the four generals who nodded their heads.

As per Laras' orders, Ken began playing down CCTV footage he had taken from William's hotel security system. Honestly, William is very impressed with Ken if he is already struggling with the cyber world. Baras watched every expression of his four generals.

"Madam, we have to attack Rizzo!" shout Aite after the recording is done.

"I agree" cried the Joker.

"So do we both." King representing Queen also agreed to Aite's suggestion.

"That was my plan and Ken's. Unfortunately, my husband disagreed. The reason you guessed it. Ken!"

Ken typed something on his laptop and then came the final CCTV footage. Everyone could clearly see what Ken's laptop was displaying.

"Rizzo finds out that Ken hacked the hotel's security system. Besides, on the side he doesn't look Berto. That means, he'll sooner or later come back to harass me."

"Boss, how does he know you're spying on him?" ask Queen.

Barrel fell silent, he thought of the right reason. He and Ken have agreed to keep the death of Daniel Arlington a secret. The woman looked at Ken and the one in the stare just shook her head, not giving Laras permission to open her voice about Daniel's death.

"My uncle, Steve Arlington seems to be playing me and Rizzo. It's no secret that Rizzo is interested in me. So, he knows that my relationship and Rizzo's not okay" Laras replied massaging his forehead.

Silence began to be created. They are deadlocked to do what because their own family sided with the enemy. A lot of ideas came to mind, but when it came to its conclusion it was defeat.

"We can't attack him now." Ken finally made a sound.

A large screen in front of Ken displays CCTV footage of the hotel. It was seen that Rizzo and his subordinates had started to leave the hotel. It makes things even more difficult. If Rizzo doesn't settle down, that means they have to start from the beginning looking for his whereabouts.

"Ken, I've sent a tracking app to your email. A few days ago, Mr. Nikolai asked his man to put down a GPS somewhere. But, you can try operating it now. I'll go first. Mr and Mrs Plowden, I'm sorry."

After that, the video call with Armand ended. Ken started opening his email and installing an app. Ken began to dance his fingers back on the keyboard. Until a walking map appears.

A red dot was clearly visible there. In fact, that point will continue to move along with the car Rizzo was riding. All were amazed at Nikolai's thought. The barrel smiles when the problem of Rizzo's whereabouts has been detected.
