CHAPTER 9 FOR THEM

"Move to video mode! Damn it people!" the snapping of the person across there made Meyrin laugh.

Meyrin instantly changed from voice mode to video call. Look Yuki's face is holding a boy where his face is exactly the same as his Japanese friend. Yuki glared at the sight of Meyrin's face. Followed by the face of the Goddess who was in the beauty salon.

"God! You're really Laras?" chirps of the Goddess as she looks at Meyrin's face.

"Gosh, Ken!" they both shouted in disbelief at Ken's behavior.

The goddess glared at Ken, while Yuki closed her two children's eyes. Meyrin only laughed at the behavior of the two women who were contacting her.

Next appeared the face of the only man on the screen of the phone. Rico was there, his reaction was the same as the two women before him, staring in disbelief at Meyrin.

"Where is William?" yuki asked when the personnel was lacking one.

"I blocked all his access," Meyrin replied calmly.

"Damn the girl! Where are you going, Ras? I'm looking for info about you for three years not get anything," said Goddess.

"Again, even Soga-kun is hard to track down!" yuki Timpal.

Unfortunately, the sadness did not last long because Meyrin was trained to hide what was felt. Meyrin looked at Lea, her personal assistant who immediately understood the meaning of the young lady's gaze. Lea walked over and stood in front of Meyrin's desk. Prepare to take any orders from Meyrin.

"From now on, call me Liu Meyrin. It is for your safety. In the next few hours, my two private planes will pick you up at Soekarno-Hatta and Narita airports. So prepare. I'll take you to my palace. "That press conference is for my three best friends. Ken and I are just a diversion. Get prepared. I'm waiting for the three of you here. See you a few hours later." Meyrin ended the call.

Staring at the surroundings, a wrinkle of confusion adorned Meyrin's forehead. She lost Emily and Alex.

"Alex is driving Emily home, he says he misses his uncle" explained Ken who noticed Meyrin's bewildered look.

Hearing Ken's explanation, Meyrin only nodded her head in understanding. Afterwards Lea handed over a pile of documents to be examined by the beautiful woman.

"Why so much?" meyrin looked at Lea.

As Meyrin recalled, yesterday she had already checked some documents and signed them. Why now that the document is not reduced, even more?

"Sir Daniel asked the lady to check the 'goods' delivery documents that will be sent the day after tomorrow," Lea replied straightforwardly.

"Ken, why are you still in my office?" ask Meyrin, who saw Ken sleeping on the couch.

"Where else am I going? I've finished my concert tour" Ken answered with a question as well.

"At least not here. Your company needs a leader, too" Meyrin murmured as she checked the documents.

"What are you kangen? Surprise still awaits you in your house."

"Ntar is Ken. This is more and more work. Looks like I really want to retire" Meyrin complained.

"Yes Miss. Lord Daniel will retire soon. He waited for Miss and Mr. Ken to formalize the relationship," Lea confirmed Meyrin's assumption.

"Huhuh?" Meyrin stared in disbelief at Lea.

Ken walked towards Meyrin and stood beside the seat of the throne the returning woman managed to steal his heart. The man twisted his chair to have them face each other, speaking from the look in the eyes.

"Try to reconsider, I won't give up" whispered Ken who immediately kissed Meyrin on the cheek.

Meyrin closed her eyes, permeating the kiss on her cheek. Something wrong happened to his heart. The heart was beating very fast and a sweet smile she gave to Ken.

"try to! Don't you know, I've closed the door to any man including my own husband?" meyrin said as she opened her eyes.

Meyrin looked back at Ken's two black eyes, "Open my heart, I'll wait for that moment" Meyrin challenged in a low voice, where only the two of them heard her.

Ken immediately smiled and accepted the challenge from a Meyrin. This was the reason a Ken who had originally chosen to give up now went back to chasing after Laras. For a Ken, the former Laras with Meyrin are now very different. One body of two characters who are able to steal the heart of the idol of a million people.

Meyrin had just finished the stack of documents given by Lea. Some of his business meetings he left to the confidant. Meyrin prefers to play behind the scenes, let the people work for her.

For Meyrin, as long as the meeting could still be handled by her people she preferred to stay in place. Control everything from the back and prepare for the worst. The woman would rather play with her brain than go out of the office meeting people.

Leah went into Meyrin's room, reporting that her three young friends were on their way to Arlington's mansion. Meyrin stared at the wall clock in her room, at 7pm Lunar time.

"Take them to my penthouse. Call Emily and dad to get there too. I want to introduce my family to them. One more thing, don't say anything about Arlington and the mansion or about me. I'm still suspicious of Rico" orders Meyrin.

"Good, Miss."

Afterwards Lea contacted the private driver of the Arlington family residence. Afterwards, she drove her young lady back to the penthouse.

Lea and Meyrin had just entered a hotel basement. Lea parked her car in an ordinary place. Then after turning off the car engine, the woman with the burly body came out to open the door for the lady.

"Miss, the great master Daniel has arrived at the penthouse with Miss Emily" Lea reported as she received a call and Meyrin only nodded her head in response.

"Brachas!" the Goddess shouted as she saw Meyrin just getting out of the car.

A bodyguard immediately confronted the Goddess and locked onto the woman's movements quickly. The goddess grimaced and thrashed for release.

"Let go! She's a guest of young lady!" lea's orders made the bodyguard instantly release the Goddess.

"You know, I told you not to call Laras here." Meyrin pinched the nose of the Goddess of anxiety.

"Indeed why the hell, I'd rather call you La—"

"No, Goddess," forbid Meyrin.

"Ish, bummer." The goddess clucked in annoyance while holding Meyrin's hand to meet Yuki and Rico.

"Tante~" a 3.5-year-old boy ran towards Meyrin who was immediately greeted with Meyrin holding her.

"Hey, baby boy. Missing aunt, hm?" Meyrin kissed the child's puffed cheeks.

"Yes. After this often play to the house well, Auntie."

"You know each other?" asked Rico staring at Meyrin and Yuki alternately.

"Get in first, we're talking inside." Take Meyrin who has entered the elevator by holding a child from Yuki.

The elevator doors open, where they are immediately presented with a luxurious and elegant living room. Two bule people were sitting on the sofa waiting for the owner of the penthouse to come.
