CHAPTER 12 REASONS TO LEAVE

"Geez!" Dewi and Yuki shouted in shock while covering their mouths with both hands.

While Rico and Soga glared in disbelief at what Meyrin had just said. Rico had no idea why Meyrin left William because of William's own mistakes.

"Lucky dad knew it soon. He and his friends begin an infiltration to save Ken. Dad didn't tell me at first, until a bomb in the car told me who the real culprit was. William didn't just hurt Ken, he almost killed my dad, the man I was passionate about in LA." Meyrin stopped her story.

"Isn't it like that still talkable?" cecar Rico supported the head nods of Dewi and Yuki.

"Yes. Father and mother and Emily gave me understanding. So too with Ken. It was Ken's reason that made me give William a second chance."

"Then?" ask Goddess.

Meyrin. He put his lips in. The woman intends not to continue her story. He can't be further than this. No one knew the real reason Meyrin chose to leave. Only Ken knows the truth.

"Hi" said Ken behind his back.

"Ken?" Meyrin was surprised by Ken's uninvited arrival.

"Tell me! It's time for you to open up and tell everyone including Uncle Daniel." Ken hugged Meyrin from behind, clutching his hands around her neck.

Daniel was surprised when his name was called. Because for Daniel, he already knows the continuation of the story of his eldest son but why Ken said such a thing?

Daniel looked at Emily who was answered with a slit to. He turned to look at Meyrin and Ken who did not even heed his gaze. Meyrin and Ken looked at each other, speaking from eye to eye.

Ken nodded his head and kissed Meyrin's head. Give the woman the strength to continue her story. Unlock a secret that has been kept by Meyrin and Ken.

"My reason for leaving William's life was to send him a divorce papers because my husband himself planned to destroy the Arlington family." The barrel finishes with one breath.

"Liu Meyrin, Ken Lian prepare yourself for the engagement in the next few days" Daniel said.

"What?"

Everyone was shocked except Soga. The man of Japanese descent chose to be quiet and not interfere. He knew that if he interfered, not only was his family in danger, but his company as well. No one knows Daniel Arlington in business.

Although the Arlington Group has changed hands to Laras or Meyrin, it still does not rule out the possibility of Daniel will act. For Soga, it was better to watch the words that came out of the lips of his wife, Yuki.

"Dad won't approve of you along with William! Dad had enough restraint when he learned that the mastermind of Ken's kidnapping three years ago was William! Don't force me to approve you!" Daniel wrathful.

Yes, one Daniel Arlington was furious when he learned the real reason Meyrin left William. Any parent would do the same with Daniel. There are no parents who do not love their children. Even if he had to sacrifice his life, Daniel was ready for Meyrin and Emily's happiness.

"Dad!" Meyrin looked at her father's eyes that were burning with anger.

"Uncle" Ken's turn to call Daniel.

"Daddy," Emily stroked Daniel's hand, trying to quell Daddy's anger.

Ken walked over to Daniel, "Uncle, I'm very happy that this engagement actually happened. But I don't want to go this way. I want to steal Meyrin's heart my way."

Ken gave his understanding. Hope to quell Daniel's anger. He knew very well that Daniel's reaction would be like this when he learned the real reason Meyrin had left William's life. This is what makes Meyrin only tell Ken and choose to keep it a secret.

"You forgot what crazy thing William did, huh?"

"Just revenge?" Daniel confirmed all the words of Meyrin, his eldest son.

"Yes." Yeah." Meyrin answered so steadily and still looked into Daniel's sharp eyes.

Everyone who heard the debate was tense. Two auras that were equally intimidating. Unlike Ken who is just silent, while Emily is still trying to relieve his Daddy's anger. She didn't want Daddy and her brother to fight.

"Then, get William to bend his knees to Meyrin and have him sign his divorce papers with Laras!" danny's strict orders.

"Then, sister will actually get divorced with sister-in-law?" Emily looked at Meyrin who was silent.

"Yes. After that inevitably, like not like, agree not to agree Meyrin will marry Ken," said Daniel final did not want to be denied.

After saying his wish, Daniel walked out of the living room and left Meyrin's penthouse. Everything there was still silent, permeating everything that happened so suddenly.

"Laras," call Rico finally to Meyrin the friend and legal wife of William Anderson Plowden.

"I hope everyone here keeps what just happened a secret." Barrel looked at everything there. "Yes another one, keep my identity a secret as Liu Meyrin."

After saying so, Meyrin walked out of the living room. Meyrin went into her room with a flattened chest. Breath gasping. His mind became muddled because of the father's orders and wishes.

A call from the Goddess, Emily and Ken outside her bedroom door. Meyrin closed her eyes, ignored the call and leaned behind the room door.

"I want to be alone. You rest first," said Meyrin.

Meyrin stepped onto her queen size bed. Throwing her small and slender body on the mattress. Look at the ceiling of the room with sadness. The sound of the clock ticking became the night music that accompanied Meyrin.

Meyrin closed her eyes, hiding such a dazzling black bead. His mind floated on the events after he chose to part with William. How fragile and helpless he was at that moment. The woman who lost half her heart.

The breath that was panting, now began to be in order. His mind began to calm down, Meyrin's sense of hearing he focused on every clockwork beat.
