CHAPTER 70 MYSTERIOUS BOX

An Alphard car just entered the basement of a star-rated hotel. A woman with a mask and a hat got out of the car. Not many of the women, a man came out also with a mask and a hat.

The man quickened his pace when he saw a woman who looked the same as him. When the woman opened the room door, the man immediately pushed in, opened the mask and kissed her lips.

Both of the woman's eyes were perfectly rounded, surprised by the sudden action of her lover. Even their hats just fell on the floor. The kiss was short.

"Lily" called the man lovingly.

"No Al, we can't do it. If Sister Meyrin finds out, I can't accept the consequences" Emily subtly refused.

"What are the consequences?" ask Alex.

Emily Arlington with her boyfriend Alex Gerard. This is their last night together because tomorrow morning Alex has to make a flight to Venice.

Their love story is love at first sight. The unexpected encounter between the two at the hospital where Ken was treated first, grows the seeds of love between the two. Until they set up a romance story without the consent of Daniel and his brother, Meyrin.

"Maybe we can't see each other forever" Emily replied in a sad tone.

"I will seek you to the ends of the world. Trust me, Lily." Alex cupped Emily's cheeks together.

"I don't trust you, Al. But I love you so much that I'm afraid of losing you. Please, let us be like this first."

"Until when do we keep hiding, Lily? Sooner or later they'll know our relationship. The people behind you are not just anyone, they have power. Until the time comes, just snap a finger, they'll know our relationship." Alex tries to convince Emily.

"I promise! If it's time, I'll talk to my family myself."

"It's not me, but us. Me and you. Emily and Alex will face an Arlington together," Alex errs.

"All right."

After that, Emily starts kissing Alex. Alex himself immediately retaliated and led the action struggle between the two lingual objects. Even the man carried Emily without letting go of the kiss between the two.

"Aackh!" emily shouted, pushing Alex.

"What's wrong?" ask Alex.

"That-that!" exclaim Emily was terrified.

A black box with a red ribbon was on top of the sofa inside the hotel room. Alex frowned, staring cluelessly at the box. The man with blue eyes stared at the mysterious box and the lover took turns.

"Do you often receive such a box?" alex's question, which was answered by a headband, made the man frown even more.

Alex walked up to the box. But Emily held the lover's hand. The woman with her long blonde mane shook her head, not allowing the lover to approach the box. It was very clear on the woman's face that she was frightened

"It's okay." Alex assures her that everything is fine.

Alex moved closer to the box. When he was in front of the mysterious box, Alex opened the lid. Confusion has greatly adorned the man's forehead.

"Come here!" alex orders gently.

Emily walked closer in timid steps. Her eyes kept staring at Alex, really Emily was so scared right now. Alex immediately pulls Emily's hand when the lover is near her.

"Aackh!" emily screams when she falls on the lap of the man she loves.

"Look! It's a very beautiful party dress. Maybe it was sent by your fans. Wear it one day, who knows your fans are looking at it," Alex suggested so soothingly.

Emily did not answer with words. He just nodded his head and kissed the lover's lips again. Alex who felt so loved smiled and kissed her lips again.

"Mr Aite is waiting for you in the meeting room, Miss." The butler gave the master a message.

"All right." 

Meyrin immediately stepped her feet towards the meeting room in question. Nikolai walked beside him, while Lea and Armand were behind the two of them. Before entering the mansion, Meyrin had Nikolai's men outside the mansion and was approved by the leader of the Celestial Dragon clan.

Meyrin and Nikolai entered a room. Everything inside immediately stood up from his chair and bowed respectfully. Meyrin stood on the left side of Ken and Nikolai on the left side of Meyrin. So, now Meyrin is flanked by Ken and Nikolai.

"Are you ready for the meeting?" ask Meyrin.

His four heads and his right hands raised his head. They stared at Nikolai's two leaders, Ken, as well as the Boss, Liu Meyrin.

"Ready, Boss."

Meyrin immediately took his position as usual, while Nikolai occupied the seat reserved for Daniel Arlington.

"Miss, so how can we trust the Sky Dragon clan?" ask Queen to start her meeting.

"Mey, you didn't give me my gift?" instead of answering, Nikolai asked the mob leader Arlington a question.

"You mean ... This?" Queen showed off the thing that her little boss had shown her this morning.

Queen opened the red bag and took out the thing inside. Nikolai raised the corner of his lips upwards, proud of his own work.

An index finger in blue-gray was just lying on the table. The tip of the finger has a red stain that has turned black. The nails on the finger are pale in color.

"That was the work of Uncle Nikolai. We as the chairman will not provide information without evidence." Meyrin stared intently at her princes.

"Let's take a look at the side of the finger, there's a tattoo of the axe emblem!" Nikolai's orders.

Everyone stared at the finger in the middle of the table. Those who were there were amazed at the foresight of Nikolai Stevano. The tattoo was so small that they had not noticed it since earlier, before the leader of the Sky Dragon clan informed him.

Meyrin who already knew it was silent, observing the expressions of her five higher-ups. His brain was thinking of something else. Something that made him think so seriously. He was pretty sure there was something with the fireworks.

"Uncle Aite, have you investigated what I asked?" meyrin asked, looking at Aite.

"Already Miss. The firework was indeed on Mr. Plowden's orders through his assistant. I have confirmed it directly from the maker" explained Aite.

"Did he also set off fireworks that were like rockets?" meyrin asked to confirm what was in her head.

"Mr Plowden has no special request for the fireworks. But, I can confirm that he did not set off the fireworks as Miss intended," Aite replied with great confidence and Meyrin trusted him.

"Armand, please find me the full video!" pinta Meyrin who immediately got a nod of the head from Nikolai.

"Why not just me?" ask Ken.
