CHAPTER 130 TWO YEARS AGO PART 3 (S2)

"Well, can we have dinner together?" ask Rizzo across the street.

Barrel exhaled his long breath. "Today my schedule is tight. There seems to be no time."

"What about tomorrow? Or the day after?" ask Rizzo again.

"For one month my schedule is busy. Tomorrow I have to pick up my cousin at the airport" Laras explained looking for an excuse not to meet with Rizzo.

"alright. Is that Ken Lian?"

"Yes, see you next week on our next business trip."

After saying that, Laras ended his call. He finally decided to return to the mansion. Laras does not not not know the intention of Rizzo, but wants how else love him only for William. Laras can't force her to fall in love with Rizzo.

"I miss you, Ken," said Laras and suddenly cried.

Ken frowned when he saw Laras crying. The man brought Laras to sit on the sofa. This time, she was crying like this.

"Hey stop crying Baras. What was? Try my story." Ken stroked his cousin's back.

"I miss William, Ken. I'm also tired of having a cold war with Rizzo. Can't I get out of a Rizzo's noose?" ask Laras of course with snot that became his trademark.

"Hey, are Uncle and Aunt not home?" ken asked because he knew very well that Laras would not complain to his father and his mother.

"A few days ago, they went to Dubai. I'm lonely here, Ken," spoiled Laras.

"Calm down, I'll be here to accompany you. I did all the tours. Now I'm going to focus on the company and the organization that accompanies you, Ras. Don't be sad anymore and make me regret asking you to see William."

Yep. Only a Ken Lian who understood the reason behind Laras' decision seemed to have suddenly. The Arlington family even Daniel himself did not know the real reason Laras chose divorce from William.

The routine went as well as the usual days. The Arlington family still remains equally heavily guarded by bodyguards. Tonight Ken chose to go home after dinner together.

"Why don't you stay over, brother?" asked Emily who had just arrived at the mansion this morning.

"I have a meeting with a client at the club at 08:00 tonight. You wanna come?" bargain Ken with Emily.

"Some, tired. Laras brother might want to come?" Emily looked at Laras who was currently so focused on her phone screen.

"Master, this." Josh handed Daniel a map.

Daniel's forehead frowned as he read the contents in the map. "Are you sure about this?"

"Of course, sir. It's clear that even the Joker just told me that the police are patrolling the harbor" Josh said.

"Have our men back off for a while. No one moves and orders the Joker to keep an eye on our ports and warehouses."

"Good, Sir. Then, are we going to the barn?" ask Josh.

Daniel looked at his watch and said, "We're going to the barn at 00:30 in the morning. Prepare everything."

"Good, Sir."

Josh leaves Daniel's study after receiving an order from Arlington's chief executive. He was busy dealing with the problems that were happening. Josh's cell phone, Daniel's personal assistant doesn't stop ringing. Arlington's underlings began to stand by at the port.

The port where the weapons storage warehouse to be sent is being overseen by the LA police. Meanwhile, the underlings of the Arlington mafia stop their activities and turn into ordinary citizens.

Some disguised themselves as fishermen, some even became residents who wanted to fish. While those inside the warehouse, began to standby with a sudden attack. All activities inside the warehouse were stopped at Daniel's command. The lights were also turned off to make the warehouse appear uninhabited and untouched by anyone.

As Daniel said, at 00:30 the Arlington mob leader was preparing to leave for the warehouse in the harbor. Josh was with Daniel as his driver. One sedan and one jeep followed behind Daniel's car.

"Josh, how's it going in the armory?" ask Daniel.

"Police are still standing guard around the harbor, sir. The subordinates are already prepared for any suspicious action" Josh reported.

"Why can the police stand guard there? Did anyone report?" asked Daniel because he felt something was strange.

"Still investigated by the Joker, sir. Mr. Ken can't be reached, sir."

"Do you feel like there's nothing weird, Josh? Why do I feel like it was intentional for us to go to the barn? Has there been a problem with the warehouse lately?" daniel asked again his assumption.

"According to the information I got from Lea, this is not the first time since Miss Laras has rejected Mr. Rizzo's feelings, sir. They've been in a cold war for the past year. Therefore, Mr. Ken came back and chose to be the right hand of Miss Laras" replied Josh straightforwardly, occasionally staring at Daniel from the glass of his dashboard.

"Rizzo's? The barrel? Why didn't I know they were in a cold war? Josh, have Ken investigate all about Rizzo if he wants to be Laras' right-hand man." Daniel issued his order and immediately answered the ability of Josh.

"No way! Yosher! Turn around and return to the mansion!" daniel orders in panic.
