22. Amanda's dead?

"We have to go down?" tanya Haga stared at the sizable dark hole below her.

"Wait here. Let me check" Habibi said. He picked up a rope that he intentionally carried. The rope was tied up in a large tree trunk. Seeing that, Haga prevented it.

"Bib, are you sure? We don't know how deep this well is. I don't feel good!"

"We should try. Keep it here. Keep an eye around, and who knows if anything else comes up later. I'll check this well first."

Without waiting for Haga's answer, Habibi immediately jumped and went down to the well. While waiting for Habibie who was in the dark well, Haga obeyed Habibie's request to keep watch around. He stood up while occasionally looking. Then look back into the well. Haga could no longer see Habibie's presence in the darkness displayed by the well hole. His depth could not be penetrated by his vision.

"Bib, Bib," called Haga to make sure Habibi was still there.

"Yes! I'm still here. Aman" Habibi said. That answer was quite a relief for Haga who was waiting for him above.

Haga focused back on looking around. The atmosphere around him felt empty. Silence without any sound. His feelings are starting to get uncomfortable. There was something stuck in his heart, so he pressed his chest, hoping that the feeling could soon disappear.

But in fact, Haga is even less funny. His attention to Habibi has now been distracted by the discomfort that settles in the heart. Haga decided to walk around the well.

"Maybe in this way, I can do better. Huft!" He continued walking while moving both of his hands that were beginning to turn numb. But when he arrived, his steps stopped. His ears began to be alert with a strange sound that he had heard a few seconds ago.

He looked for the source of the voice. In one of the dark corners of the cave, Haga felt a movement that made her anxious. Haga stood up and continued to pay attention to the place. Feeling himself a little threatened, he began to put up the horse while picking up a knife that he had hidden behind his body. Usually Haga uses sharp objects to cut plants, twigs, or canned food that they make the main menu in the forest.

Haga held the knife in her hand. He began to worry until his footing continued to shift. Slowly a black shadow began to clearly appear to be walking closer and closer towards Haga standing up.

Haga did not back down or be afraid. He waited to ascertain who the figure in front of him was. Moreover, Habibi until now has not also appeared out of the well. Whatever happens, Haga is ready for the worst.

The shadow is approaching. The figure that looks big at the beginning of its appearance, apparently after being seen carefully is a human. Although Haga could not see clearly, but he was sure that the figure was human just like him.

Haga who was clean Amanda attacked now actually lowered the knife in her hand her body immediately limp when she saw the figure in front of which was none other than Amanda.

"Amanda!" call Haga.

The figure called was even silent,

looking at Haga blankly.

This made the young man finally approach the girl.

"Amanda's? you're okay, right?" ask Haga.

Amanda was silent and did not answer the question. Seeing this, Haga tries to grab Amanda's hand.

But suddenly his body bounced far away to hit the wall of the cave that was beside them. Amanda did not react to anything.

Haga who felt pain in her back looked at Amanda who was still standing on the spot with a blank look. He grimaced with the pain he felt. She begins to fear Amanda's safety, even though Amanda's body seems fine, but Haga feels that Amanda's soul is not in place. It was empty without a soul.

"You why? You're all right, aren't you?" 

Haga is not convinced to approach Amanda. He walked back to Amanda. Once in front of the girl, Haga kept staring at Amanda's eyes.

He also looked at the girl's body.

Everything seems normal. Amanda was still breathing, her eyeballs were the same, not changing at all

According to Haga, the possessed person will have his or her eyeballs that are different from their original eye color. Amanda still looks the same. 

As she was about to grab Amanda's hand again, the girl suddenly turned her head, and within a few seconds Amanda smiled.

"Dragon?" greet Amanda with a soft voice.

Haga is shocked to see the change that is happening to Amanda. But he remains vigilant. To Haga, everything seemed strange. Even if he hopes that the figure in front of him is the real Amanda.

"What's going on? Where are we?" ask Amanda while looking around. Haga looked at Amanda and her whole movements. It felt strange to Haga, if when she appeared earlier, Amanda looked cold like someone who was daydreaming, but in a few minutes after that he was just like an ordinary person like everyone in general. Haga wondered what really happened.

Amanda kept asking Haga.

Because Haga had been silent since then, other questions continued to be spoken by Amanda. Until finally Haga responded to the question with the right answer.

"Don't you remember?" ask Haga curiously.

"Remember? Remember what? Where are we anyway? The place is so scary. I'm afraid, Haga," Amanda's whine, which now puts her hand around Haga's wrist.

Haga is confused to see Amanda's behavior become spoiled, but on the other hand, Haga does miss Amanda's attitude like this. After all the events that have passed, Haga just wants to be able to fix everything and start over with Amanda and Hasya.

"Yes already. What matters is that you are okay now. We wait for Habibi later after this we go home, yes," said Haga reassured.

"Why should I later? why don't we go home now? I'm scared, Haga.  Lookie! It's all dark and we don't know where we are, right? Let's just go home now," take Amanda a little pushy.

Even now Amanda pulled Haga's hand so they could get out of the place. Many times Haga looked back, staring at the large well in the middle of the cave

Her little heart wanted to hold Amanda's hand not to leave the place, but her mouth seemed to be locked so she couldn't say a word.

Until finally Habibi's voice began to sound. He screams Haga's name and echoes throughout the room.

Instantly Haga stopped walking so as to make Amanda's hand detach from her. Amanda then turned her head because she realized her grip was apart from Haga.

"Why?" ask Amanda.

Haga turned to the well and pointed at the place. "Don't you hear Habibi's voice there?" ask Haga again. Habibi did not hear any sound Maybe you misheard Let's go from this place this place is creepy and also dangerous said Amanda again wanted to grab Haga's hand but suddenly Haga just dodging and even retreating away from the girl.

"Dragon? Why?"

"You're not Manda!" cetus Haga is firm. The gaze that had been parched, turned into a suspicious chill.

"Why did you say that? I'm Manda! Less believe what else?"

"If you were Manda, you would never leave Habibi in trouble there. You're not that kind of person. Habibi is for you one of the important people, and I'm sure, if you also hear Habibi's voice right?"

Habibi's voice was still clear. Because the place was surrounded by rocks and covered, then the sound echoed. So it's very unlikely that Amanda didn't hear it.

Amanda silence. He seems to be misbehaving Haga's accusations. While Haga is regressing more regularly.

"Dragon? Why that? It's me, Manda. Believe me!" Amanda approached as she reached out her hand trying to grab Haga.

Amanda's attitude just looks more strange. Haga shook her head slowly, while continuing to retreat trying to stay away from Amanda.

"Ga! Help me!" habibi's shout made Haga's attention split. He was worried about what to do.

"Ga! Haga!" Habibi's hands now began to appear on the edge of the well. Trying to get out of that dark place. His hands look dirty, wet and sticky. Haga turned her head and glared when she saw that her friend's hand looked not okay.

"Dad? Lo why? Holy jeez!" peekik Haga who immediately wanted to get closer. But suddenly his hand was held by Amanda. The girl nodded quickly.

"Don't go there, Ga! No!" prevent Manda with a look of fear.

"Ga! Help me! Don't want to be with him! She's not Amanda!" Habibi.

Haga was finally worried. Who should he choose. He just stood on the spot, and stared at the direction Manda and Habibi were in.

Slowly Habibi who initially only visible part of his hand, now began to appear. His face was dirty and wet. With difficulty, Habibi tried to get out of the well.

"Ga! Don't be fooled, he's not Manda! Stay away from him!" habibi screams with a serious face. He kept trying to get out despite the difficulties.

Haga began to hesitate, she looked at Manda who had been holding her hand since. The manda before him was indeed another handsome one. Haga also felt that he was not the Manda he usually knew. Now Manda started to grin. He then laughed. His grip hardened, and his fingernails began to stick firmly on Haga's wrist. Haga groans in pain. He's trying to get away from Manda's grip.

"Mom! Help me! Bibs!" haga began to panic. Habibi who is still struggling to get out is trying as hard as possible to escape from the well.

Haga continued to rebel, but the grip of Manda's hand grew louder. There was even a hot sensation on his wrist.

Habibi looked back. "Man, Manda! Hurry up, please, Haga!" he said to someone who looked faint behind him. But that figure is getting longer, more clearly visible. That person is Amanda. Well, she's the real Amanda. Even Haga also began to be able to see the figure behind Habibi now.

Haga looked surprised and confused. He saw two Amandas in front of him. To his surprise, Amanda looks like a hologram. Look through, but Haga is convinced that she is the real Manda.

"He ... He's Amon, Ga!" said Habibi. He finally managed to get out of the well, and now just sprawled on the ground. His body was already limp, after the great struggle that occurred in the well.

"What's? Ammon?" haga asked as she looked at the woman who was still holding her hand tightly. The manda called Habibi was Ammon, then grinned.

"Hi, dear Haga" he said, changing his voice like a man. Haga glared and was absolutely certain, if the figure in front of him was not Amanda, but Amon.

Habibi is helpless. He could only stare at Haga and Amon who were several meters in front of him. His power is drained.

"Manda ... What do we do now?" habibi asked the figure of the woman nearby.

Amanda was silent, she was staring at Haga from a distance. Amon had taken control of his body. But his soul was outside of his body.

"Commun ... Thanks for all. You are my best friend." That sentence was the last sentence before Manda approached Amon and Haga. He screamed as he crashed into his own body. Amon who had taken control of his body just laughed. Because I feel like nothing can stop him.

Amanda's soul is real, hugging her body. Amon continued to laugh because he felt that what Amanda did would not have any impact on him. But apparently he was wrong. Slowly Amon's body felt the heat. Even his body started to emit a red light, akin to fire.

Haga's hand was released from Manda. Because Amon who controls Manda's body is now in pain. Body's burning. Fire began to appear all over his body. Manda's soul still hugged her own body. They are now walking away from Haga in no direction. Manda keeps Amon away from his friend. Until finally they started near the dark well earlier.

Amanda's soul stared at Habibi. He nodded with a pushy look. But Habibi just shook his head quickly while crying. Manda brought his body into the well. The body is burning. And now it's lost into that dark place.

Silent. Habibi was silent while holding back the cry. Chest hurts. Until he hit. While Haga who was still confused then approached her friend.

"Dad? You're okay, right? The mandanda? Manda, why is that? How do we save him? Bibs! Answer it! Don't get it!" haga screams while shaking Habibi's body.

"Free, Ga. Manda ... Manda will not be able to come back again" said Habibi limp.

"What's? Mean what? Can't go back? What mean! We're here to pick him up, right? Continues to?"

"Well, but we can't pick him up. Manda sacrificed himself to close the portal, to keep Amon locked up there forever."

"What did you say?" ask Haga with the body that has now fallen to the ground. Hope is gone. His attempt to save Amanda is gone. Because Manda is gone forever. Manda is gone. He sacrifices himself to get Amon back into his eternal prison.
