37. Terror at home
That night Leni went into the room. He is easily tired even for activities that are fairly easy. New clock shows at 10 p.m. Leni who just finished her college assignment now wants to get into bed and sleep. Just as he climbed onto the mattress while closing his eyes and hugging the bolster, Leni was startled by the scratching sound on the wall. He sharpened his hearing to know the source of the sound. It's just that Leni who is curious then look for the source of the sound. Strangely, when Leni continues to search for the sound, the sound actually disappears. Leni peeked out from behind her room horden. In front of her bedroom window was an unkempt cassava garden.
Finally Leni was surprised when she looked at the cassava garden in front of her, vaguely Leni saw a white shadow standing among the banana trees. He immediately closed the curtains of his room. He was frightened because what he saw was a terrible figure.
The figure of the woman seen by Leni, had long hair that was disheveled. The long white dress dangled until the ground left both of the woman's legs covered. Even if it was opened, it would appear that he did not step on the ground.
He quickly got into bed. Covering his entire body with a blanket with a body that shook violently because of the fear that was being felt at this time. Leni did not dare to peek or look out. He was only able to hide while waiting for the creature to disappear from its place earlier. Leni did not expect to see what kind of figure was experienced in the forest the other day. Leni is still very traumatized. Finally someone knocked on the door of his room. This actually makes Leni closer the blanket. He was more frightened and imagined if the figure was approaching and was now in front of the door of his room. But the fear disappeared as the voice behind the door called out his name.
"Len? leni .. have you slept?"
"No, Mom! A minute!" sahut Leni then finally dared to get out of the blanket and rushed towards the door.
When he arrived at the door, Leni opened the door immediately. "What's up, B-U." Leni stammered. When he found out that no one was at the door of his room.
Leni gulped, her body as if frozen. It's just that curiosity will defeat his fear. He put his foot in front of the door. Then look to the right and left which turned out to be quiet. There was no activity outside her room. The living room was also dark, which meant that her parents were already in the bedroom to sleep.
Leni was curious because she was sure that the voice that had called her was her own mother's voice. But he stepped further from the room into the living room. Where her mother's room is adjacent to the hallway that will lead to the kitchen. The atmosphere really felt quiet. The silence of his house made Leni even more frightened. The feathers bristled. All he had in mind now was to want to see his mother immediately. He was a brave boy but also a coward.
Once in the middle room, Leni did not intend to look left or back right. He sped up his steps so he could get to his parents' room. Suddenly his steps stopped. From the tip of the tail of the eye, Leni felt the presence of someone. It was like sitting on a sofa in the middle room.
"Where are you going?" ask a woman whose voice is the same as the one she heard in the room. I don't know why Leni's body is so stiff. Though he wanted to leave the middle room immediately, because his premonition was not good. Although the voice was indeed his mother's voice, he was not sure if the figure was his own mother. Especially in the middle of the darkness, alone, is a strange thing that is impossible to do by Retno.
Even Retno was a more cowardly person than Leni. So it felt impossible that he suddenly sat alone in the living room without any illumination at all. As strong as Leni's desire not to see I turned towards her mother, it automatically turned to a place that she did not want.

"Mom? what else?" leni asked surprised and worried.
