"Uncle, we are completely surrounded," Abhimanyu said. All look at each other. Their fate is on the edge of the horn. They are outnumbered.
The Eagle's mind raged. After all, he seemed to be the one most responsible for the lives of everyone in this house.
"Shanum and Ellea are better off hiding in the basement" said the Eagle staring at the two women nearby.
"But ...." Ellea.
"Sst. Uncle Eagle's right. You have to hide. They're a lot of numbers." Abhimanyu was also very anxious. Not to himself, but to worry about Ellea. Abhimanyu tidied Ellea's hair, cleaning her soot-inflicted face. He worked so hard. Helped Abhimanyu set a trap, and it worked. At least some of the intruders were successfully paralysed. Although their numbers continue to grow and the trap that Ellea sets almost broke. The enemy has entered the courtyard. Ellea, who refused to be evacuated to the basement, was forcibly removed by Abhimanyu.
Shanum and the Eagle stared at each other. The girl immediately broke through the Eagle's stocky body. Hugged the Eagle's body tightly. The shadow of death was in sight. But they won't just give up. There is always hope. Even if it's just a speck of dew. Or a grain of dust. They promised not to give up.
The eagle returned Shanum's embrace. He inhaled the now familiar fragrance of the girl's hair at the base of his nose. This distinctive smell really makes the Eagle comfortable and calm. In his arms, Shanum sobbed. The eagle hissed, trying to calm the girl. "Shhhh. Don't worry, Sun. I promise you, they won't hurt you" whispered the Eagle right in Shanum's ear.
Shanum took off his embrace. Staring at the sharp Eagle. His cheeks were wet with his own tears.
"That's not what I'm worried about. But it's you, Lang! Promise to live!" smirk Shanum with the real thing hesitated for the Eagle to agree.
The eagle seemed to think for a moment. But seeing the girl in front of him getting hysterical, Eagle finally assented.
"I'll keep trying to stay alive."
Hearing that from the Eagle's mouth, Shanum stopped his crying. Staring at the two eagle eyeballs to look for solemnity in them. "Promise?"
"Hm. Ja. I promise."

Abhimanyu was looking for the right angle to hide Ellea and Shanum of course. Nor did he find a safe place to hide. Until then he passed all the big buffets, with a few bottles of wine belonging to John. In the middle of the sideboard that does fit to sit one person.
He took a bottle of wine out of thirst. Sipped it while looking at Ellea who was sitting in front of him. Looking at Abi nanar.
Abhimanyu felt a puff in his nape. He even pressed the sensitive area while looking back. Behind him he saw something suspicious. A long line running from top to bottom. He realized there was a small gap there. And it turned out that the wind was coming from a long line behind him. Abhimanyu pushed the plan of the wooden slab. It opens!
He was shocked and looked at the same Ellea. "Bi? What'sthat?"
Abhimanyu did not answer, he pushed back the place. "This ... Door?" ask Abi to himself.
When this wood was pushed completely, there was a dark room there. The wind is in. Feels cool and fresh. Not stuffy and musty like a warehouse as in Abhimanyu's own mind. I felt the sensation of the sea. The typical aroma of the sea is salty, but fresh. Not only that, even his face was like being exposed to water vapor. Chilly.
"Hello?!" abhimanyu Jerrit. His feet are about to put his feet in. But Ellea pulled Abi's hand. He worries. The girl nodded slowly. He advised Abhimanyu not to pursue his intentions.
"Ell, let me look inside. Who knows, this is another way out of this house," said Abhimanyu.
"Don't! Dangerous, Biyu. We're not there. What if that's the way to Kalla's lair? Or Kallandra's house. And could it be the intruder?!" Ellea's analysis really made Abhimanyu anxious. He brought his face closer to Ellea. "What if this is one of our safest roads? We have to try everything possible, right?" persuade Abi, pinch Ellea's cheek.
At the same time the Eagle entered with Shanum. The two of them immediately approached Abhimanyu and Ellea who were seen arguing.
"What's wrong?"
"Uncle, look!" show Abi to that dark alley.
The eagle stared at the place with a frown. Shanum looked at him in fear.
"You checked, Bi?" ask Eagle. Abi shook his head while looking at Ellea. The eagle who understood Abi's reason only shook his head with a smile. "alright. Let me get in." When the Eagle was about to enter, it was Shanum's turn to hold his hand. "Why?" asked the confused Eagle. Shanum. Just like Ellea's reaction.
But the loud thumping sound distracted them. The basement door is tightly closed and in a lock. They all came in while running. "Shielded!" gio's screams then immediately covered both of his ears like the others. The eagle, Abi, Shanum and Ellea were confused.
"Why, uncle?"
Gio did not say anything, instead positioning his body on the floor.
"Bombs," muttered the Eagle. He then pulled Shanum into his arms. Crouch down and cover the girl tightly. Abhimanyu also pulled Ellea and did the same. A second later the sound of explosions could be heard echoing all over the place. Their ears even buzzed. Some roofs are almost collapsing. Dust fell from the explosion.
"You're crazy!" aspirant.
The tremors began to stop. Those who felt the situation was safe, then immediately got up. "I'm forced. You don't know how things are going up above! Hey what's that?" tanya Gio looked at the passageway.
Adi and Vin came closer. While Lian was looking for something around the sideboard.
"What are you looking for?" ask Ellea.
"Lights, candles or something!" said Lian who remained focused on her search.
"For what? No, are the lights here still on?" ask Shanum.
"Of course to get in there!" Lian glanced at the dark passageway that was being noticed by the men. "Lian! We don't know what's in there. It could be something dangerous, right? Don't be rash!" Shanum was still doubtful. It was different with Lian.
"You don't know, do you, what the above conditions are. And that door is our only way to stay alive."
"It turns out that this hallway really exists" Vin said.
"So you know about this place?" asked the Eagle, a little annoyed.
"Eum, not entirely know. It's just that, said the father, this house is indeed made with a unique architecture. Many places were secret because the previous owner was a fairly proficient woodcraftsman. He built this house with every detail of his secret corner. It's just that I think this hallway is just a myth. Some say that he made this hallway to escape from pirates who used to come to this island. He kept the treasure he had found at the end of the island. Many myths mention that this island is indeed a place to store treasure pirates - sea pirates."
"Waws. Maybe there's still treasure in there, isn't there?" gio said then went inside.
The basement door is broken down. Luckily the structure of the building below was quite strong, yet it made those under panic. As a result one by one began to enter the dark hallway there following Gio.
"Waws. It looks like a horror house on tv" said Adi who stood in front of Vin.
"Hurry up, Di." Vin pushes Adi until Adi almost falls. It triggers his emotions, then retaliates against Vin by pushing him as well.
Clamps!
Suddenly the hallway became bright. Everyone was shocked and was now able to see this place more clearly. Apparently Vin accidentally pressed the electric switch button. Although the lights are still wearing worn out bulbs, but this is better than the previous situation.
Gio who walked the front, smiled happily. They continued to follow this path, which was indeed the only way. They don't know where the end of the hall is. But the wind is getting stronger. Even Abhimanyu sure, if the end of this hallway is the sea, or the beach. Because he knows his scent very well. He even inhaled this smell a lot.
Along the way no one asked questions or just chatted lightly. All focus on their own steps. Staring down, if you step on the wrong side, turn up, which sometimes shows a flashing light bulb, then turn off. Their right and left sides turned into iron. They were not even aware, since when the wood around them changed iron.
A few minutes later, my feet were numb. They even stopped a few times to rest. Massaging each leg before continuing this long journey.
Until the moment Gio realized that his feet began to step on the puddle of water. "What's this?"
"That's water, you idiot!" adi Hardik.
"Of course I know it's water, but ...." Abhimanyu walked back, following the direction this water came from. The eagle even squatted to touch this water and tasted it. "Cure it!"
With their remaining vigor and strength, they walked back. Gio finally shouted happily. He and Adi even jumped and hugged.
They reached the end of the hall. The waves breaking apart the coral are clearly heard.
In front of them was a curtain of grass with water in front of him. Adi and Gio who had peeked earlier then came out. They reached the end of the hall. It was really a long escape.
The exit was, apparently, made faint. From the outside, people won't know that there's a secret passageway here. Because from the outside it will look like a small waterfall. The water that came out from the upper rocks, flowed down and made like a curtain that covered this place.
Now, the fresh air they breathe. The waves again carved laughter on their lips.
"But where is this?" ask Eagle.
"This is the tip of the island like it is" Vin said, convinced.
"What's our plan next? We no longer have a place to live. And it's impossible to go back to that house again, isn't it?" ask Lian.
No one dared to answer. The eagle told them to stay here first. Until they find their next plan.
____
The men split up looking for something, firewood suppose. When night comes, they will desperately need a fireplace. Because the night air will be very cold if it continues to be outside they will hurt.
"Look at what I found" the eagle placed a few piles of cloth in the middle of the girls.
"Fabric?"
"Yes. We can make a tent for a while. I'm sure this cloth is enough."
They set up a makeshift tent. Looking for food preparation and all things needed for a while.
Vin and Abhimanyu got a pretty satisfying fish catch. The women were in charge of washing and cooking the food. A red glow began to appear on the western horizon. Dusk shows its beauty. They all sat on the sand of the beach. Staring far into the sea water that continues to be swayed by the wind. Split when it hit the reef and the sea breeze is getting louder.
Ellea hugged Abhimanyu's arm. Without a word, they were silent. Weary. That's certain. But at least they have a place to visit tonight.
The tents they made were quite large and capable of accommodating everyone. There were no blankets to cover their bodies. There were only their own jackets that they were wearing.
"What's our next plan, Lang?"
"We wait."
"waiting? Waiting what?"
"Ship or something to cross back to the dock. The island is no longer safe."
"You sure?"
"Our enemy is no longer Kalla. But humans worship Kalla. And the villagers are their worshippers. Kallas. It's starting to make us almost desperate. So we better get off this island."
"Where are we going, Lang?"
"Go back to town."
"You sure?"
"of course. We have to get back to town. I'm sure things in town aren't any better than this, are they?"
"We have to find a way to beat them. Our enemy is no longer Kalla. His followers. And I'm sure Kallandra was also part of this plan. They want us cornered and fogged up."
"Then it's better tonight we rest. Because tomorrow will be a hard day. We need to get off this island. Because they must be looking for us."
"Is it okay?"
"We stand guard in turn. Don't let your guard down!"
Although the stomach was only filled with a few mouthfuls of grilled fish, it was much better. Instead of their stomachs they should be empty. The girls were told to go to bed immediately. The guardians tonight are Adi, Abhimanyu and Vin.
The fireplace is still on. Enough to warm their bodies tonight. They kept their eyes on every corner of the island. When seen this night, their situation looks gripping. Lucky sound waves like music that helps their minds more relaxed. The three men were silent. Until the Abi netra captures the movement of light in the sea. A ship passed by but they couldn't possibly see the SOS sign if I sent it. The atmosphere looks very dark. Abi took off his clothes and went into the sea. He was chasing the ship.
