Chapter 19: Cost

1 week passed.

Sena is at home to work as a nanny for Kia after returning from the office. Kia is not too spoiled making Sena not too tired in taking care of it. Kia considers if Sena is a friend who accompanies him and not his nanny.

While accompanying Kia to dinner, Sena opens a message between Maya and Regan, Sena accidentally intercepts whatsapp messages of her husband. Sena grieves when Regan is so considerate of Maya.

"Aunty, Papa when are you coming home?"

"Tomorrow morning, your Papa is still out of town. Finish food!"

Kia finished her food, she was very happy when the papa out of town already had Sena who accompanied even slept with her. Sena was also surprised by Kia's biological mother, she never came here to visit her 8-year-old daughter.

After eating, Sena invited Kia to study and do PR. They were very close like mother and child but suddenly his phone rang apparently from his mother-in-law. Sena quickly lifted him up.

"Hallo, Ma?"

"Why not go home and why just pick up the phone from Mama? Is it your fault for making you this way? Turns out you've been good just imaging in front of Mama. Your true nature is like this, Sena?"

"Sorry, Ma. What does Mama mean? How imaging? Mama's got a new daughter-in-law and I'm forgotten."

Mama seemed to be upset by Sena's words. "You're upset because we didn't have dinner that night? Sena, Maya was craving to eat seafood so we took her there. Actually Regan wants to go home because you want to eat grilled meat but Maya is more important now that she's pregnant and cravings. You're not pregnant yet how do you understand, Sena?"

Her words deeply pierced her heart. Sena immediately turned off her phone, she smiled bitterly got such a slur. Her chest was very tight, apparently they used to just pretend to be good.

"Auntie why?" ask Kia.

Sena quickly shook her head. "It's okay. Quickly work on number 4! Later Aunty will use the Aunty version."

"Okay, Auntie."

The next day, Sena.

In the morning, as usual Sena will make breakfast for Kia. Devan this afternoon will be home from out of town and their relationship is only boss and employee no more. Soon Devan will get the title of a widower, of course the employees in the office are very happy. They could be content to look at a handsome and rich widower every day. While Sena considers ordinary even since that night as if making Sena a little shy with Devan.

Sena also prepared provisions for Regan, although they have separated the bed for 1 week but Sena still deliver breakfast supplies for Regan. Regan confided about Maya on Sena by phone if Maya while pregnant lazy even every day just sleep in the room.

Roasted chicken and lalapan is ready, he drove Kia to school first and then stopped by Maya's contract.  Sena is indeed very good, she did that because she is still the legal wife of Regan. On the way using a motorbike, Sena must strengthen her heart if she meets Maya.  Arriving there, Sena is disappointed because Regan has left for campus, she only meets Maya who only uses negligee and seems to just wake up.

"Well, I just take it to campus and this is for you" Sena said, handing over the plastic containing food.

"Sena, that night...."

"Yes, yes, I know, you're pregnant and deserve more attention. Nevermind! I'll be late for work." Sena stepped onto her bike and climbed on top of it but she looked at Maya again. "When you're pregnant, dance! Learning from my experience, I used to be dirty, curly and ugly hair and Regan was even captivated by you who was the prima donna of the campus. I'm afraid that with your appearance now Regan is looking for another campus chicken to be his third wife" Sena continued, wearing her helmet. Sena let out her deathly smile as if mocking.

Maya just shut up and stared at Sena's departure, she saw the package of food Sena gave and threw it into the trash. "Fear if there's poison" Maya murmured.

As Sena heads to campus, she sees a clock that still has plenty of time to meet Regan. Maya contract with the campus is only 8 minutes by motorcycle. Arriving there he immediately headed to Regan's room, Regan was lately busy with the value of students.

"Sister Re?" Sena entered without knocking on the door.

Regan closes the book and takes off her glasses, Regan's face looks back on the cold start of their marriage.

"I brought food for you" said Sena.

Regan got out of her chair and slapped Sena on the cheek.

Plaaac...

Sena was very surprised, her hand reflexively held her painful cheek from the husband's slap, her tears dripping without excuse, this was the first time Regan slapped her.

"Why do we make a covenant letter if you betrayed him yourself?" Regan raised her voice.

"What does Brother Re mean?"

"Say lives in mess? Right in mess, messum with the boss in his house."

Now replace Sena who slapped Regan's cheek, she was upset by Regan's words like that.

"I was there just working as a babysitter for her daughter, nothing more. I need a lot of money to save if I part with you one day" replied Regan.

"Is there only money and money in your brain? Huh uh?! Not enough money from me?"

Sena immediately left the room, he got on his motorbike and headed to the workshop of the Father. Now Sena just wants to hold the Father accountable for making himself in this situation. Sena drove his bike fast, he had not thought it would be too late to the office but did not expect him to fall from the bike and make him hit the asphalt.

"Well..." His legs were clamped on his bike, people were helping him.

"Mister is okay? Let's go to the hospital!"

"I'm her husband and I'll take her to the hospital." Regan turns out to follow Sena from behind, she puts Sena in the car.

Regan drives her car away from the crowd before Sena rebelled and leaves Sena's motorbike, Regan sees Sena's bloody legs but does not make the man guilty of her.

"I'll take you to the police station and open the case again."

"Do it! I also want you to take responsibility for what you did," Sena replied.

Regan just kept quiet while focusing on driving, she did not touch Sena's words. Sena's legs are very painful, she can only hold it. Minutes by minutes passed until almost 1 hour more Regan took her away. Sena realized that the car was getting further and further away from the city center.

"Where will Brother Re take me?" ask Sena.

"From now on you stay in town Y only! I'll find you a boarding house and a job."

"Whatchu mean? Why do you really want to torture me?"

Regan throws a letter to Sena, a letter of loss caused by the father when he killed Rio even you also had to borrow money to open a workshop at this time.

"If you want to blame then blame you first! You've been sold by him just for his own satisfaction. Oh yes one more, I don't want to divorce you and don't want to until you fall for another man. I love you so much but it's my way so wrong" Regan explained.

After arriving in the city of Y, Regan had already booked a princess boarding house for his wife. Sena was just limp getting this kind of treatment from her husband. His car stalled in a white-storied building, Regan cradled Sena and the hostess' mother had already welcomed him. Sena is a VIP boarding house resident, Regan pays a lot to make Sena comfortable here.  The boarding room was huge and luxurious, Sena was placed in bed and Regan treated her wounds.

Sena's leg pain is nothing more than her pain, Regan treats her as good as love. Love that hurts each other.  After finishing treating and bandaging Sena's legs, Regan stared at the beautiful face of Sena who was also flat looking at her.

"I want my rights right now" Regan said.

"Please!" Sena seemed to challenge Regan without dodging anymore.

Regan pushed Sena's body into the bed and gave her a kiss for the sake of a kiss, Sena just kept quiet as if sure to give up her body just like that. Touch by touch passed, the roar of breath increasingly sting as if this game is soon done.  Now they are uniting after 2 years of marriage.

30 Minutes later.

Regan felt something strange, she did not find any blood from Sena. Sena put on her clothes again and looked at Regan's face.

"Are you not a virgin?"

"Yes? Why why?"

Regan's jaw hardened and stared hard at Sena.

"It hurts, doesn't it Re? Betrayed? Huh uh?!  Same, I'm hurt too. It's been 2 years that I've kept my honor for Kak Re, but Kak Re didn't even touch her and touched the campus chicken until she got pregnant." Dada Sena is very tight to say all that but she is happy because she can repay Regan's actions even if using the wrong way.

"You are a crazy woman! Your innocent face is a demon. You take revenge in this dirty way?" regan asked with reddened eyes.

"You are the devil! You started it," Sena shouted until her voice was hoarse.

"I love you, Senarita! Does love have to be shown in a sweet way? Huh uh?! All this is driving me crazy. Why fall in love until this hurts?" Regan cries for the first time and cries on Sena's shoulder. "You're evil, Sena! You destroyed my expedition."
