Chapter 67: Invitation

"I'll take care of Sena and won't hurt her. Don't you worry!" devan.

Devan stood up and thrust his hand to help Regan stand up. Regan took his hand, and he stood up. Sena calls Bram to pick up Regan. Regan according to what they said to wait here. Devan tells Sena to leave for the office with Anjas first, while Devan will accompany Regan until Bram comes.

"Yes, I'm leaving first. Lock the door later, Brother Dev."

'Yeah, see you at the office."

Usually Devan will kiss Sena's forehead but it seems he did not do it because it keeps Regan's feelings. Regan is still depressed and will likely relapse if they see their romance.

Devan and Regan sit on the porch, looking at Regan's bare feet. Devan gives his pantofel shoes to Regan.

"Wear it! Your feet will get dirty" said Devan.

"No, my feet are dirty" replied Regan.

Devan enters Sena's room and searches for slippers that Regan can wear. He found his sandals that had been left behind a few days ago. Devan quickly gave it to Devan.

"Wear it! It's my slippers."

"You staying here?"

Devan shook his head. He explained that when it was raining, Devan did not want to make Sena's shoes wet and gave her the sandals in her car but Devan forgot to bring her back home.

Devan glanced at his watch, he was already late coming to the office while Bram had yet to come. Regan asks her to leave him alone while he will wait here. Devan doesn't want anything to happen to Regan.

"I want to heal, I want to continue with S3 as we dreamed it would be" Regan said.

Devan patted Regan on the shoulder with a small smile. "I'm proud of you. There are four of us who reached S2 only you. I also have no desire to continue. Regan, you're so smart. Your IQ is above average. You don't give up on love. Love is blinding."

Regan covered her face with one hand as if she was crying even she was actually crying. His past used to be very dark even toying with the feelings of 3 women at once but the worst was Sena. So, who does Regan really love? The answer is Sena. But it's too late, Sena has chosen Devan.

"I'll come to your wedding even if it hurts" Regan said.

"No need to force yourself. You don't have to come if you get hurt" Devan replied.

Regan shook his head, promising that he would come on time and even become the happiest person there. Devan hugs his former best friend, he hopes to be friends with Regan again even though it is impossible. Devan is traumatized by friendship, he fears betrayal again.

Bram comes, he is very worried about the state of his son. The hospital has called him about Regan who ran away earlier this morning. Bram immediately hugs Regan, Regan is the only family to be tormented.

"Thank you, Mr. Devan."

"No problem. I think Regan just needs rehab at home."

Bram looked at Regan, whatever it was that made his son happy to be done by Bram. Bram is very fond of Regan, a 35-year-old man who is now a boy.

"Papa, I want to eat sushi" said Regan whining like a child.

Oh my God, how is this? I made Regan like this. He's my friend turned into a depressed man. I couldn't bear to see it but I've already put my heart on Sena. Am I evil?

"Devan?"

Devan was surprised Regan called out to him. They looked at her and Regan smiled at her.

"Later home tonight huh? Bring your son too. We eat sushi together."

Devan nodded. He's very happy that they're getting close now. Will their friendship return to what it used to be?

In office.

These were the last weeks Sena worked in the office. By the end of the month she had become Madam Devan and became a regular mother to Kia. Sena works while eating the aci meatballs she buys at her coworkers. Sena brought her own bowl from home and brewed it using hot water.

When it is cooked, it eats it. This is how if there is no Devan, he can eat in the room. Haha...it is not Sena whose name does not make a tantrum.

Sena pouted making Devan even more anxious. The man then gave Sena an invitation. Sena got 50 invitations for her closest friends. Yes, they will hold small receptions even for Sena, 50 people is too much.

"We're starting to spread out the invitations now?" ask Sena.

"Yes, let them not be surprised."

"Office friends too?"

Devan shook his head. "The office let me give you. They're my subordinates, you invite your friends."
