Chapter 41: Maya

Next day.

Bram came to see Sena, he brought food and fruits. Bram doesn't know if his first grandchild is dead and he doesn't know if Regan is the cause. Bram comes in, he sees Sena sleeping while Regan is beside him. 

"Papa?"

"Sstt... let Sena rest!" 

Bram gives breakfast to Regan, he also tells Regan to go to campus immediately but Regan reasoned that it would come during the day. Bram looked at Sena who was fast asleep, he could not bear with two women who suffered from the actions of his son. If only Regan could choose one woman would not be like this. 

"Sena and Maya, both have no parents. You're so guilty of playing them" said Bram. 

Regan just kept quiet while eating her favorite yellow rice, Bram was very surprised with his son, he did not feel guilty in the slightest. 

"You better take Maya to your partner first and have your partner marry her. Sena will keep Papa for a while, Sena is pregnant with your child, better fight Sena."

Regan stopped from his feed, the Papa did not know if Sena miscarried, he would be furious if he knew it. His hand placed his food on the table, he approached the Papa and apologized profusely. Bram was still silent when he saw Regan start to shed her tears. 

"There's something I have to say about Papa's grandson."

Bram has a bad feeling about his grandson, Regan explains that the incident actually makes Bram very angry. His hand hit Regan in the face until he fell on the floor. Bram has warned her not to hurt Sena again but it seems Regan made a very fatal mistake.  Sena immediately woke up hearing the commotion, Regan accepted it because she felt guilty. 

"A bad guy like you doesn't deserve to be a husband or even a father. Now go take care of Maya! Solve your problems with Maya! Don't see Sena if your business with Maya isn't over" Bram said.

Sena had just seen her father-in-law so angry, Sena was also scared. Regan resigned, he followed what the Papa said before the punch floated again right in his face. Sena stared at Regan's departure and Bram clasped his hand.

"I'm sorry Regan! He's hurt you too much. He's still childish because we're always spoiled."

Sena nodded, Bram hugged her tightly. Sena received the hug, the hug she missed from a father figure.  Sena's cry broke when hugging Bram, he did not consider Bram as his father-in-law but considered like his own father. Sometimes Sena feels uncomfortable when she gets more attention from Bram but she realizes that Bram really loves her as a girl. 

"I can't protect Papa's grandson, I'm sorry! I'm a lousy mother" Sena said. 

"It's not your fault! Don't feel sad! Everything's gonna be fine. It should be Papa who apologizes for producing a brash kid like Regan" Bram replied.

Bram let go of his embrace, he wiped Sena's tears. Bram loves Sena not without reason. Sena's late mother was her best friend but they've been out of contact after a long time. That's why Bram loved Sena so much as his own daughter, Bram was so devastated when he found out her best friend was gone. 

"You're a strong child like your mother."

"What does Papa mean?"

Regan heads to Maya's house, bruised by Papa's blow. Regan was not angry with him, thanking him for awakening.

Arriving at Maya's house, Regan sees Maya cooking even though her hand is injured. Seeing Maya's condition, he became unbearable.

"Regan? How to go home fast? I cooked seaweed soup for Sena, she said it was great for a woman who had just miscarried" Maya said.

"Maya, change your clothes! We're going to Abi to hold him accountable."

Degs...

Who wouldn't be surprised by Regan's words? Maya also immediately refused, she did not want to meet the jerk.

Regan did not budge, he immediately brought Maya into the car. He did not want to procrastinate anymore and immediately finished everything. Maya continues to ask to stop her car but unfortunately if Regan is determined to find Abhimanyu.

"Regan, I just want to remarry you."

"I can't, Maya. I want to go back to Sena. I want to apologize to Sena for continuing to hurt her."

Maya's cries get louder, making Regan look for a place to stop her car. Regan notices Maya's stomach, there is not her son but the son of his partner. Regan used to be very stupid for always believing Maya's words but this time she can not be fooled anymore.

"You used to say love to me but what? Now everything is clear" Maya said.

"I used to say that because I didn't know that the child you were carrying was not my son. Yes, I did love you but everything was ruined because of your own lies" Regan explained.

Maya clasped his hand, Regan immediately brushed it off. He doesn't want to be eaten by Maya anymore. Regan is now driving to the next town.

Arriving in the next town. Regan looked for the address on the paper, a house in the village he visited and found the house of Abhimanyu. Maya waits in the car while Regan walks into the courtyard.

Tok....

The open door turned out to be Abhimanyu himself.

"Regan?"

"Sister Abi, can we talk to you for a second?"

Abi came out and closed the door. He won't let Regan into his house.

"What's coming here? Know where my address is?" ask Abi.

"It's about Maya. She's pregnant with your child" Regan said without further ado.

Abi gulps his saliva rough, he looks at Maya who is in the car and then looks back at Regan.

"My child? Don't be so reckless!"

Regan sent the video to Abhimanyu's number, the man quickly saw it and widened his eyes. From where Regan got all that even Abhimanyu himself didn't have it.

"What's your relationship with Maya?" ask Abhimanyu to Regan.

"Because of you, I have to part with my legitimate wife" Regan replied, leaving Abhimanyu confused.

Abhimanyu did not care about Regan, he quickly entered the house but his shoulder was immediately pulled by Regan. An annoyed Abhimanyu hits Regan, and Regan replies. A fight breaks Maya out of the car, and she injures them both.

"Explain Maya if the child you're in is the son of this son of a bitch" Regan said.

Abhimanyu looked at Maya sharply, Maya could only play her fingers.

"Java!" snapped Regan.

"True, this is the son of Abhimanyu's sister" Maya replied in fear.

Regan looked at Abhimanyu with a sharp look. "Explain already! You should marry her. I'll call Maya's Uncle to be your guardian and I'll be your wedding witness."
