Chapter 54: Restu

"Why is Brother Dev sweating so much?" ask Sena. 

Devan seems to feel very groggy because he will ask permission to marry Sena in front of his future father-in-law. Sena smiled amusedly, only this time his boss felt less confident. Sena quickly pulls Devan and enters the police station. Sena came to ask for a moment to meet the Father even though only getting a moment was enough to ask for blessing. 

Devan grew groggy when the Father came, Sena and Devan kissed his hand. 

"What's up, Sena?"

Devan did not want to be said to be lame immediately said about his wishes. "Father, introduce my name Devan and I am the lover of Sena."

The father nodded, Sena has often said that Devan is her boyfriend. 

"Father, I would like to ask the blessing of the Father to allow Senarita to marry me."

You are certainly very surprised, Sena just divorced about 3 months ago suddenly will now get married again. "Is this not too fast? You guys just got close, right?"

Sena clasped the hand of the Father tightly and convinced him if he and Devan had established themselves to get married. The father looked at Devan once again, traumatized by marrying his daughter to a man he had not long known.  Sena looked down sad, she felt that the father would not approve of her. 

"It's nothing, you're a rich man and my daughter a commoner and even me as her father in prison. What if your parents find out? Again Sena will definitely be insulted," said the father. 

"My mom likes Sena and asks Sena to be her daughter-in-law but for my Papa, I will try to persuade her." 

I took a deep breath, that's the problem. If one of the in-laws does not like his son-in-law then certainly the son-in-law will not live quietly. 

"Do you really love Sena? You must have known Sena was a widow. Did you take it?" ask Father.

Devan smiled a little. "I love her so much and therefore I want to marry her." 

Sena has shed tears, Devan's kindness can not be doubted. Devan was always there for him.  

"Sir, I'm sorry, I'm a widower and have an 8-year-old named Askia. Surely you added do not approve of us, right?" 

You see their sincerity, especially Sena is now alone and needs a friend to live. You don't want to be selfish, he nodded and clasped their hands. Sena and Devan also looked towards him. 

"Father bless you."

Devan heart of course very happy, he kissed the hands of his future father-in-law. "Thank you, Father. Thanks for the blessing."

Father nodded. "But remember! Treat Sena as best you can, loving her with all your heart. I don't want you to hurt him."

Devan nodded, they were relieved because they had received the blessing of the Father from Sena, now just waiting for Papa from Devan alone. When their meeting is over, Sena will tell when they got married after getting the blessing of Devan's parents. Sena and Devan say goodbye, Devan promises to make Sena happy. 

"Father trusts you."

"You're fine here huh."

The father smiled while patting Devan on the shoulder, the man was very polite and often even gave a smile when talking.  After the police station, they decided to go for food. Devan is very hungry. 

"Sir Dev, I'm going to take the bike, okay?" ask Sena.

Devan nodded. He helped put on the helmet. Sena held back the laughter of having a lover like this. Widower man if bucin nothing to match. 

"What's wrong?" ask Devan in surprise.

Devan understood, he quickly got into his car. Sena plays her motor gas and heads to their restaurant. Devan never forbade anything Sena would do but most importantly he knew what Sena was doing.  In the car, Devan notices his lover riding a motorcycle. His eyes were fixed on Sena.

"Service, if I just buy a motorbike how?" ask Devan.

"Motor for what boss?" 

"To ride with Sena. Looks like it's exciting if I piggyback him."

Anjas laughed a little. "Hahaha... don't you remember Mr. Devan last riding a motorcycle falling into the rice field?"

Devan rolled his eyes. He did have the trauma of going on a motorcycle until now. 

"It used to be, it used to be suddenly there was a goat crossing so I slammed the handlebar because of the reflex of surprise," concluded Devan. 

Anjas laughed at the incident, an event he would never forget.  The embarrassed Devan refocused his eyes on Sena. Soon they will be united in a more serious relationship that is marriage. 

Arriving at the restaurant, Sena parked her motorbike. Devan got out of the car and took off the helmet Sena was wearing. Sena is getting amused by Devan's bucin, just this dear lover especially if they get married later. Winda is a fool who just let Devan go, he's not good at being grateful for a husband like Devan. 

"Here you go, let's go in!" 

Sena nodded, she went inside while holding hands. The world is like the two of them.  When he was inside, Devan immediately called the waiter and ordered a delicious meal. 

"Where are you not invited?" ask Sena.

"He's school. Oh yeah, he wants to take you to see his piano show."

Sena's shocked. "Me?"

"Yes, she's so happy to have a new mom, she's going to show off to her friends."

Sena shook her head, she had not officially become Kia's mother. He did not want to celebrate before the marriage contract was done. Sena takes off her jacket, remembering that Regan has turned herself in to the police station to take responsibility for her mistake. 

"So I met Papa Bram, and Regan turned herself in at the police station."

Devan listened carefully, which is clear Sena will soon be called by the police to be a witness. Devan understands that Sena has forgiven Regan and of course he wants Regan not to be arrested because Regan has been willing to admit his mistake. 

"Maya was also in the process of being with her sister because that time accidentally bumped into me."

"Nana, it wasn't Regan who said you were on the sosmed but Maya and her sister."

Sena already knows that, there is no way Regan will leave dirty words on her social media because she is a lecturer. Sena let out a long sigh, the current one she was thinking about was poor Bram. If Regan is found guilty then Bram will also lose Regan. 

"Sister Dev, Regan has already dared to admit his mistake. Can I testify to the police if Regan doesn't mean to push me?"

Devan stared fixedly at Sena, Sena immediately explained if there was no meaning. He just wants Regan released and accompanies Bram who must be devastated. 

"Son Devan don't be jealous! I have no other meaning. Man can sometimes be caliphate as well and sometimes he can change if given the opportunity. I want her to be free and find a new partner for her not with Zara, Maya or with me. He must have had a reason to hurt 3 women at once even though his status was still considered very wrong." 

"What do you want to do then do it! I'm not jealous or angry if you stand up for Regan. I was in your position too, I defended Vinda even though she was wrong and hurt me. I will always support your decision."

Sena is very happy because she has a mature-minded husband and uses her logic. Sena and Devan have a bleak past but they do not want revenge with the former name. They forgive those who have hurt them.  That's how you live your life by forgiving each other, right?
