Chapter 58: Devan & Regan

"What did you say?" ask Devan.

"Papa bless you. Is it still unclear?" ask Antony.

Devan immediately kissed the hand of the Papa, he was very happy when the Papa approved it. Antony hugged his son tightly, he always supported what Devan would do especially for Devan's happiness.  Sena was happy, she even shed her tears. 

"You must strengthen each other and do not hurt each other!" antony Pinta.

They nodded while touched, the blessing of their respective parents had been obtained and now only just choose the right date. After that they ate together, Sena was very well treated by Sofia and Antony. But suddenly the shadow of his past comes to mind when Bram and Intan also treat him well. 

Now Papa Bram how is it? What is he doing? 

"Sena, is the food good?" ask Sofia.

"What a son, Auntie," Sena replied politely. 

Devan added a lot of side dishes on his future wife's plate, he was very visible showing his attention to Sena.  Devan loves the woman so much that he quickly forgets his past with Vinda. After eating, Sena decided to go home because it was already night. Devan planned to drive him home but Sena did not want to because he brought his own motorbike. 

"Sena, careful. Don't speed on the road!" said Antony.

"Good, Om. Excuse me first. See you, Kia."

"Aunty's chest is beautiful" Kia replied as she waved her hand. 

Sena immediately launched his motorbike through the streets that are still crowded. He smiled to himself as he imagined the events of today. Tonight was very bright as if to understand his cheerful state. The weather today was a little cold, he decided to look for a warm ginger drink that was around there. Considering the warm ginger, he immediately thought of Bram. Arriving in front of the seller, Sena parked her motorbike and ordered 3 warm ginger. 

At the end of the road there, there was Devan who followed him by a car. Devan is not calm when the wife has to go home alone on a motorcycle. Actually Sena has been used to go home alone but Devan remains unsettled. 

10 Minutes later.

Sena got on her bike and rushed to leave the place, Devan followed her again. He drove his car at the speed of following Sena's motorbike. Soon he discovered that his future wife had gone to Bram's house. Devan parked his car on the side of the road and then walked for a while to see Sena who entered Bram's house. 

"Papa? It's me, Senarita," cried Sena. 

The door of the house opened, Bram saw Sena's arrival and told her to enter while still waiting around. 

Sena gives her warm ginger to Bram, she feels very kasian with Bram after losing his wife. Bram takes a glass and drinks it with Sena. Bram looked at Sena's sparkling face. 

"Your mother must be very happy to see her daughter happy again" said Bram.

"Oh yeah, Papa hasn't told me how Papa and my mom got close" asked Sena curiously. 

"That's an old story."

Sena smiled as she drank the warm ginger that she bought earlier. The atmosphere of this house became quiet after the departure of Intan must be Bram also felt lonely. Regan's bedroom door opened, Sena turned her head. They stared long enough but Regan finally closed the door again. Bram let out a long sigh, he could not bear to see his son become like that. 

"I'm sorry, Pah! Because of me Regan's sister became like that."

Bram shook his head, Sena was innocent of anything just to make Regan realize his mistake. Because it was night and not good with the neighbors, Sena decided to go home, she was relieved to see Bram who was fine. 

"Bah, I'm going home first. Later if I'll send an invitation to Papa soon."

"Alright, Sena. It's so good to see you happy." 

Sena kisses Bram's hand, and he leaves the house immediately. The motor he proposes through the cold of the night. The moon that was brightly lit now began to be covered in dark clouds. Only getting colder and bone-chilling, he sped up the speed of his vehicle until on a deserted road he met a horde of people carrying sharp weapons. 

Sena gulped violently, she was very frightened and chose a gas tank but the people chased after her. 

The chase even happened even Sena motorbike was patted by the people earlier. Sena panicked even more as one of the people swung her gun to make Sena dodge but made her turn and fall. Sena was already very frightened, the people were getting closer but suddenly a vehicle approached her. Sena stared at the two-wheeled vehicle as if it was no stranger to her. Yeah, that bike belongs to Bram. A dirt bike that often moves because Bram rarely uses it.

"Papa Bram?" said Sena.

Devan's car was seen, he came out and beat them with his bare hands. The motorist wearing the helmet kept scaring people with his motorbike.

After the bad guys left. Devan approached Sena and of course asked her how she was.

"Sister Dev." Sena hugged Devan tightly.

The motorist opened his helmet.

"I was expecting it to be Regan" Devan said.

Regan got off the bike and rested in front of Sena. Her tears spilled as if regretting every single thing she had ever done.

"Senarita, come back to me! I'm sorry."

Sena and Devan looked at the man standing before him.

"Wake up, Brother Re! Please don't do this!"

"Give me a chance to fix it."

Devan let out a long sigh, he pulled Sena to get into the car without having to care about the increasingly sane Regan. Sena followed her future husband while glancing at Regan who was still resting under the sudden cloud and rain water dripping.

The rain grew heavier as Sena and Devan got into the car. Sena looked at Regan still in the position as before and the rain flushed her fragile body.

"He's a stubborn man just like I used to be begging Winda to come back with me again" Devan said, looking at Regan.

"Sir Devan was like that?"

Devan nodded, he gave a small smile recalling his stupidity. Devan's hand grabbed the umbrella in the back seat and went out using the umbrella. He walked over to Regan who was still glued under the rain.

"Go home! You can get sick" said Devan.

"Why do you have to come to me? Why not Sena?" ask Regan.

"Because Sena's sacrifice is more for you and she's tired of your attitude."

Devan throws an umbrella in front of Regan and helps the man to stand up. After Regan actually stood up, Devan gave her a warm hug.

"You're a great man, Re. You are a great teacher and have a good education. It's a pity that it has to be like this only for the woman you threw away" Devan said.

"Please give Sena back to me! Don't you realize you won't be able to give him happiness because you're barren?"

Devan was very surprised by Regan's statement. Any idea where Regan came from about the secret?

"Without any child we can be happy" Devan replied.

"Impossible! You're selfish if you want to marry her under such circumstances" Regan said.
