Chapter 43: Pleading

Sena was alone in the room that smelled the medicine. This afternoon he is alone and Devan is likely to come later this afternoon. Already used to himself, that's his daily life even after getting married first, he was always alone at home because Regan came home to stop by to sleep.

Sena recalls that she had suspected Regan's perfume was always different and Sena also found a contraceptive in her husband's pants pocket.

A man came in with his woman, Sena was wide-eyed when all she saw was Devan's parents. He immediately sat down and kissed their hands.

"Sena, sorry to visit you now," Sofia said so kindly while Antony showed a dislike look.

"It's okay. I thank you so much for visiting me."

Sofia brought some food and clothes for Sena. He seems to like Sena very much, can be seen clothes giving her all branded goods.

Sena felt saddened by Antony who had been silent because Sena tried to invite him to chat.

"Sir Antony must be uncomfortable with me?" ask Sena.

Sofia scrunched her forehead and patted her husband on the shoulder. "Hahaha.he's such an expressionless person. Actually she was sad to hear about your miscarriage."

Sena smiled. "Thank you."

Sofia pulled the chair and held Sena's hand. He smiled sweetly at her as if there was a shrimp behind a rock. "Sena, do you want to be Kia's mother?"

Sena was so shocked, what did it mean to be the mother of Kia? Being Devan's wife is that? Sena immediately let go of her grasp and then smiled faintly.

"Sofia, what are you talking about? Our son does not deserve to be with a widow like her."

Sofia immediately elbowed Antony's stomach making the man in pain.

"Don't listen to what he says! Want to be, Devan's wife?"

Sena shook her head. True what Antony said if he could not be with Devan who is perfect and has everything especially Sena only a widow who experienced misfortune in the household.

The door opened which turned out to be Devan. Devan was shocked to see his parents inside.

"Why are Mom and Dad here?" ask Devan.

"We also want to see him. Devan, then get Sena married. Mama totally agrees."

Sena and Devan's cheeks turned red, they were both ashamed of it. Be married? For Sena too soon to get married especially now she has just miscarried.

"If you don't want to get married, try going out first. Interapproach."

Devan and Sena get more misbehaved, Sofia who realizes it is so happy then goes out to let the couple chat more freely. After their departure, Devan apologized if the mother's words were so watchful.

"It's okay. Oh yeah, Mr Devan is on lunch break?" ask Sena.

"Yes, have you eaten?"

Sena shook her head. Devan took the food that was on the table untouched at all. Devan fed it painstakingly while looking at Sena's pale face.

"What's your plan this time? Back to Regan?" ask Devan.

Sena laughed off. "Hahaha... Why come back to him? It's the same I used c*l*n* in the container."

Devan was just grinning, he was insinuated because he had returned to Winda several times but he realized that the woman was not a real soul mate.

"You could have, Sena."

"Haha, oh yeah, is Kia cured?" ask Sena.

"His fever is down, he misses his mother. I can't bear that little kid already having to be a witness to our divorce."

"I got word if Mr Bram's wife relapses again?"

"He's gone home."

"No, he relapsed again after coming home."

Sena doesn't know about it because neither Bram nor Regan have given it up. Sena was very worried to be seen from the look in her eyes, she used to be very close to her mother-in-law but since there is a much more beautiful Maya and more everything makes Intan stay away from Sena.

Sena eats voraciously fed Devan, eager to visit Intan after this but she is afraid to meet Regan.

"Kok daydreaming?" ask Devan.

"Is Mama Intan in this hospital as well? If so, please take me there!"

Devan nodded, he immediately took a wheelchair and took Sena to where Intan was being treated but had not yet reached there, they saw Regan in the hallway and passed her by.

"Sena, where are you going?" ask Regan.

"You're in this hospital, aren't you?" ask Devan.

Just a nod from Regan, Devan quickly pushes the wheelchair but Regan stops him and asks for a moment to talk to Sena.

"There's nothing to talk about anymore" Sena said.

"Just a second. Devan can come too. I'm waiting on the roof."

Regan climbs to the top floor first by riding the elevator while Devan waits for Sena to tell her to take her to Regan. Sena thought for a moment, there was Devan and there was no way Regan could hurt her.

"Take me to the roof, Mr. Devan!"

"I'm actually surprised by you guys. You're divorced but you're not divorced."

"Please!"

Devan let out a long sigh, Sena is still the stubborn Sena. Devan takes Sena into the elevator and presses the button to the roof. Arriving up there, the view of the city is clearly visible. A gentle breeze hit Sena's black hair. He saw Regan already standing behind him staring at the urban scenery and the streets from up there.

"Sena, thank you for taking the time for me."

Sena was only silent while Devan was still behind her. Devan is on guard if Regan ever injures Sena again.

Regan approaches Sena, by establishing herself in front of Sena.

"Sena, I know I've done a lot of wrong with you. I'm sorry!" regan.

"I've forgiven you for a long time but the name of the wound cannot heal quickly" replied Sena.

Regan regretted each of his actions even he was already very depressed because of his household problems.

"Can you give me a third chance? I want to fix everything."

Sena and Devan gasped at Regan's words.

"There's no such thing as a third chance I even gave you a second chance is useless. You used to be a husband but not like my husband. I can't reach you even that close. Your love is fake and insincere. You just love Maya, it's so obvious but she betrayed you that you're disappointed and in the end you vented on me. Right?" ask Sena in flames.

"That's just your perception. I love you more. Give me another chance! I'm so crazy to have lost you."

Sena was grieving while Devan was just slicing with the man in front of her.

"No word return. I'm getting married to Mr. Devan" said Sena holding Devan's hand.
