CHAPTER 217 | Against the Rules of Heaven
Shen Long then did not know where he was. The surroundings were dark, his body as if floating in that darkness.
Suddenly a light appeared in front of him that was quite warm yet dazzling to the eyes. Shen Long could not look at him directly. He just lowered his head without looking at the light.
“Shen Long” Sky Emperor a sound emerged from the light.
“Who is talking to me?” ask Shen Long
“I am called the Emperor of the Gods of Light by the gods of the skyworld” sahut the voice.
The voice was heard from the light. After hearing that Shen Long then saluted him
“Holyener. What's wrong with me. Where is this place?” shen Long asked the Emperor of the Light God
“This is Maya Nature. This vast Maya realm has no restrictions” said the Emperor of the Light Gods.
“You are here because I called you here” continued the Emperor of the Gods of Light
Shen Long's face was a little confused, he did not understand why the Light God Emperor suddenly summoned him to the Maya Realm.
“What did the Ancestor call me here?” ask Shen Long
“You have made three mistakes in interfering in human affairs in the human world. As an Ancestor, I must give you a warning” the Celestial God Emperor said to Shen Long
Shen Long's eyes twitched after hearing the explanation from the Celestial God Emperor to him. He did not feel any wrongdoing based on his conscience.
“Encestor, I only carry out what my conscience holds true” said Shen Long in his defense.
“Despite this, as Celestial Emperor you must not intervene in the destiny and fate of man” said the God of Light Emperor in an angry tone.
“Let humans settle their own affairs in the human world” continued the Emperor of the Light Gods.
Shen Long smiled hearing the reply from that Light God Emperor.
“Did the Ancestor forget? I'm also a human being. So I also have the right to choose and settle human world affairs, said Shen Long back to defend himself.
“Although you are human, you are now a Celestial Emperor. You must not recklessly use your divine power in the human world” said the God Emperor of Light to be even more angry because he was sticking to the rules of Heaven.
Hearing the rules of Heaven that Shen Long thought were unfair to humans, he immediately retorted.
“If so is the Rule of Heaven, then I will oppose him as a human being. I have the right to decide what I do in the human world according to my conscience” Shen Long said back insisting
The light in front of him seemed to grow bigger and hotter, signaling the Light God Emperor could not help but stifle his anger with Shen Long's reply.
“Alright, if you prefer to be human rather than carry out your duties as Celestial Emperor. Then I give punishment to you as a warning to you.” said the God Emperor of Light.
Shen Long's face seemed tense hearing the words of the Light God Emperor, he did not expect the Heaven's Rule to punish him who had done the thing that his conscience held to be right.
“I will seal the power of the Gods in your body with 999 god seals. You will become an ordinary human of your own choice” said the next Celestial God Emperor.
Shen Long's eyes twitched hearing that. The punishment was too cruel, he said. Yet Shen Long did not give up, he had been an ordinary human for most of his life.
He accepted that, as a man who acted with conscience he did not fear any punishment.
Suddenly the light grabbed his body and illuminated his entire body. Shen Long felt his divine energy source weaken and the 999 energy points in his body were sealed by the power of Heaven
“Go accept your punishment in the human world” shouted the God Emperor of Light.
After that Shen Long felt his body being thrown down into unconsciousness.
When he regained consciousness, he felt his body fall on a riverbank somewhere. He looked around to find something that could remember the place.
He felt what he experienced was like a dream, then he tried to exert his God power, but his body could not gather and exert it.
“Sial, this is not a dream. The power of my God is still there but I cannot awaken and exert it. My strength is completely sealed” Shen Long muttered resentfully in his heart.
Despite not being able to exert his Divine power, Shen Long tried to summon the Great Priestess with the power of his mind.
“Your Highness, what's calling me” suddenly the Great Priestess appears in front of Shen Long
The Great Priestess felt something different in Shen Long's body then examined it.
“Your Majesty, why is your divine power sealed by 999 pieces of the god seal? Who did it?” ask the Great Priest.
Shen Long then told the entire story until his meeting with the Light God Emperor.
The Great Priestess then sighed after hearing the story from Shen Long.
“Your Majesty, even though your body has been sealed as many as 999 pieces, and you cannot exert the power of Gods. Your current body is like a newborn sky world god in the 1.” star copper power said the Great Priest
“This power in the human world is at the same level as the power of the God-level realm of Human Gods. Your Majesty must be careful and take care of yourself tuan” continued the Great Priest
“How were your pursuits against the demon Mo Shi?” ask Shen Long
“After following the tracking seal that master gave us, we found Mo Shi going to the Middle Empire, but when we were already near them. The power of the tracking seal disappeared” said the Great Priest.
“Disappeared? Why can?” ask Shen Long
“The seal was activated by the power of His Majesty who made it. When the power of His Majesty is sealed, then the energy of the seal is also weakened and becomes inactive” said the Great Priestess.
“Then how to reactivate it?” shen Long asked.
“The only way is to restore the power of His Majesty's god. But opening 999 god seals by the Emperor of the Light God is very difficult.” said the Great Priest.
“How to open the seal?” shen Long asked with a sad face because what he did to track down the existence of the Devil became futile because of it.
“Only two people can unlock the power of the god seal” said the Great Priest.
“Who is that guy? I will try to find him to be able to unseal this and immediately eliminate those demons” Shen Long said after feeling there was hope
“The first is the Emperor of the God of Light himself, but it is impossible to ask him to free the seal he made himself for you
Shen Long sighed his nod approvingly at that.
“Another one is the Demon God Emperor whose power is at the same level as the God Emperor of Light” continued the Great Priestess.
Shen Long's eyes twitched hearing the last name, both of them were equally difficult to help him. It was impossible for him to ask the Demon God Emperor to unseal him to eradicate his subordinate demons.
