CHAPTER 355 | Meet the inhabitants of the underworld
During the journey back to the east, Shen Long and Princess LingMei avoided any problems with the mogullians as much as possible. Although forced to, Shen Long did not kill the mogullian.

“Daughter, this Fire Desert looks very spacious. How can we find the Fire Root tree?” Shen Long pondered how to obtain the treasure.
Princess LingMei closed her eyes to recall another clue she might be able to use to search for the existence of the Fire Root tree.
“Fire Roots are the source of life of the Desert of Fire. What does that hint mean? My teacher once mentioned it,” muttered Princess LingMei quietly.
Shen Long pondered what those words meant. “The source of life is water. Are there any springs in this Desert of Fire?” shen Long asked Princess LingMei.
Princess LingMei frowned. “I seem to have heard there is a lake in the middle of this Fire desert whose water is always available all the time.”
“Good. Let's search for the lake first,” Shen Long prepares to continue his journey to the Desert of Fire region to find the lake.
Princess LingMei nodded her head and then led the way towards the middle of the Fire Desert to find the source of the water. Shen Long followed him by riding beside him.
Arriving in the middle of the desert suddenly their two horses collapsed to the ground. Princess LingMei examined the two horses and shook her head. “We can't save these two horses. They have exhausted.”
Shen Long felt guilty towards the two horses. They should have let go and allowed the two horses to rest. But everything had already happened, this made Shen Long and Princess LingMei forced to continue the journey without a horse. Shen Long and Princess LingMei exerted their strength to soar and soar through the Desert of Fire from above the sky.
In the past, the temperature of the Fire Desert region was very hot even at night. But ever since the Dark God came to power, the temperature of the Fire Desert has been slowly decreasing. Currently inside the darkness, the temperature of the Desert of Fire turned cold.
They floated slowly in the air to search for the lake. In the distance Princess LingMei looked like a black area that was in the middle of the Desert of Fire. The black color was different from the surrounding area, so they tried to approach it.

They also immediately went towards the black area which was indeed a lake in the middle of the Desert of Fire. Surprisingly the temperature around the lake seemed warmer than the surroundings.
“The temperature around this lake is warmer than other Fire desert areas. We are not wrong, the Fire Root tree is certainly around this.” Shen Long murmured.
When he arrived at the lake, Shen Long then closed his eyes and channeled his strength to inspect the area around the lake.
Shen Long then sat cross-legged by the lake solemnly to sharpen the surroundings. Princess LingMei did not dare to disturb him, she walked around while looking around with her eyes.
Suddenly Princess LingMei sensed that there were several pairs of eyes observing the two of them in the darkness of the night. He subconsciously retreated towards Shen Long.
“Princess, relax. They don't mean bad. They are denizens of the underworld who hide around this place.” whispered Shen Long to Princess LingMei to calm her down. Shen Long had sensed their presence before, yet he remained concentrated on finding that Fire Root tree.
After a few minutes, Shen Long suddenly opened his eyes he looked towards the right in the darkness of the Desert of Fire. “This source of warmth is in that place, his inner”.
Shen Long walked towards the source of the warm feeling he felt and was followed by Princess LingMei behind him. When approaching a large stone that was around the place. Suddenly appeared a few figures that instantly surrounded the two of them.
“Who are you? What's your purpose here?” A voice emerged from the figure that surrounded them.
“My name is Shen Long. We didn't mean to be evil. We are looking for the Fire Root tree,” Shen Long said calmly. While Princess LingMei brought herself closer beside Shen Long.
“Fire Root Tree? We've never heard of that tree.” A person emerged from the darkness walking closer to Shen Long with a face expression displeased with the arrival of Shen Long and Princess LingMei to the area.
Shen Long felt that around the place there were many auras of underworld inhabitants hiding. He understood when they were not happy that someone was approaching their hiding place.
“Go from here! You humans and gods do not approach this place, or we will not hesitate to hurt you,” said the person back who seemed to be their leader.
Shen Long looked at the person's face. “You're from the demon clan right? You are all from the race of the inhabitants of the underworld, why are you in this human world?” shen Long asked.
Shen Long's words made those people shocked. They also became more alert and waited for an attack order when their leader ordered it.
“Who are you? How can you know us from the underworld?” The figure of the leader who was the demon clan frowned. They had been disguised all this time as humans yet Shen Long easily knew their true identity.
“At my place of origin, I made friends with a nation from the underworld. So I know your aura,” Shen Long said with a smile.
“We don't mean to be evil, we're just looking for the Fire Root tree. If you know it, please help us,” continued Shen Long with a solemn face.
“Elder, don't believe in humans. They're all two-faced. Let's just get them!” suddenly someone from them spoke.
“Shut! I decided this!” The figure that the elder called out was angry because of the words of the person earlier.
