CHAPTER 299 | Spirit purification in the Hell Realm
Shen Long's eyes were aghast at the sight of a now red stream like hot blood flowing around the place. There was also a fire burning in some cavities that released the thick red liquid.
The thick red colored liquid gathered in the middle which looked like a pool of blood. The sound of moans, cries and all the heartbreaking cries rang out from the direction of the red-colored pond. “What place is this Demon God Emperor?” shen Long asked the Demon God Emperor in his mind.

Shen Long was surprised to hear the answer from the Demon God Emperor, “Ah, You are indeed truly a strange Emperor,” Shen Long said with a sigh.

Shen Long stopped his steps. “Is this a good thing for your Demon God Emperor power?” Shen Long asked the Demon God Emperor.
“Hahaha.. Of course, the spirit you absorbed earlier is still a rough spirit. While this is a spirit that is in the process of refining back,” said the Demon God Emperor.
“Spirit purification?” shen Long's.
“True. The strength of the spirit that had been purified reached 1000 times that of the unrefined spirit. After the purification is completed, they will be sent back to the Reincarnation Realm to be released back to this world,” said the Demon God Emperor.

Hearing the words of the Demon God Emperor, Shen Long looked at the cavities that were above the pond. It looks white smoke that flies into the cavities.
“True. That was actually the boundless power in this Hell Realm. And a place like this there are thousands inside this Hell Realm,” continued the Demon God Emperor back.
After hearing that, Shen Long immediately meditated and regained the power of the Demon God Emperor with a soul absorbing purification technique. Then he sucked in that white-colored smoke to increase the strength of his Demon God Emperor.
The power of the Demon God Emperor within his body again increased by leaps and bounds. This time Shen Long felt a quite drastic change from before. He felt the power of the Demon God Emperor to be thousands of times that of before.
Shen Long's eyes opened after no more additions to the refining result. All the spirits that had been purified earlier had been sucked and purified back in Shen Long's body to fuse with the Demon God Emperor's strength.
Shen Long's eyes became more radiant, his face became brighter. Shen Long's breathing became light and the heat he had previously felt had now turned into warm air.
“Good. Now is the time to visit Shang Ti,” Shen Long said steadily.
Shen Long then walked deeper into the Hell Realm until he arrived at the empty-looking Demon God Emperor throne no one was there.
Around the Demon God Emperor's throne were also seen some pools like the torture pond earlier, but the light was not red. Shen Long's face looked tense as he walked closer to the throne.
“So this is your stop?” shen Long said.
“Hahaha... It seems that Shang Ti does not know the secret of my throne,” said the Demon God Emperor.
Shen Long furrowed his brows at the words of the Demon God Emperor. “What do you mean Emperor?” Shen Long asked the Demon God Emperor.
“Sit on my throne. Put my power there. You will feel something different,” said the Demon God Emperor later.
Although Shen Long did not know what the Demon God Emperor meant, he did. Shen Long remained on guard for something that did not match what he expected.
Shen Long then sat on that throne. He felt that the throne was like an ordinary chair. “Make my strength Shen,” whispered the Demon God Emperor in Shen Long's mind.
After listening to the instructions of the Demon God Emperor, Shen Long then exerted the strength of the Demon God Emperor. The power that emitted black smoke enveloped the throne occupied by Shen Long.
Shen Long felt that the power of the Demon God Emperor was fused with the power of the Demon God Emperor's throne. Shen Long's own body was also enveloped by the power of the Demon God Emperor.
Shen Long was suddenly shocked. His eyes were wide open to see what he had not expected. He looked at the entire body of the Demon God Emperor after sitting on the throne. In his mind he saw the entire passage inside that Hell Realm that was as if Shen Long's mind had fused with the consciousness of the Hell Realm itself.
“Welcome Demon God Emperor,” suddenly heard a voice that echoed throughout the Hell Realm. Shen Long was shocked to hear that. He then saw in his mind the existence of Shang Ti meditating in one of the torture ponds in the Hell Realm.
Shang Ti's eyes glared and she stood up when she heard the echoing sound. Shang Ti then went to the Throne of the Hell Realm and saw Shen Long sitting there.
“Man?” Shang Ti was aghast in disbelief to see Shen Long who was a human sitting on that throne casually.
