CHAPTER 279 | Ambition Shang Ti
“We have met Shang Ti in the sky world,” said Princess Shui. “Sang Ti's power is above all the gods of our Loka sky world. Shang Ti is from Loka next to us. Currently the Loka is experiencing destruction.”
Shen Long was stunned to hear the words of Princess Shui,”Envastation?” The faces of He Ti and Che Ti also seemed surprised to hear that. They knew nothing of the destruction.
“Loka where Shang Ti came from back then in the extermination done by the Dark God. While fleeing, Shang Ti saw the cracks in their Loka and went inside it until he finally arrived at this Loka of ours. He then invited us the gods of the sky world to close the crack back so that the Dark God would not chase him to our Loka.”
“That's when he told about the extermination in Lokanya and killed all his friends in the group of 13. Only her was left then” continued Princess Shui.
He Ti and Che Ti's eyes twitched hearing that, “It's impossible. Are we dead? Why we are still here.” They did not believe in what Princess Shui said
“You were resurrected again by Shang Ti in the underworld by borrowing power from the Hell Realm.” said Princess Shui.
Shen Long pondered at the thought of Princess Shui's words, He Ti and Che Ti were still stunned in disbelief. While Yun Mei had already experienced a headache since knowing about the sky world god and other things.
“We also just found out that the power of the Hell Realm can resurrect a dead creature as long as the memory of the creature has not disappeared.” Princess Shui continued. “Shang Ti has the power to save the memories of those 12 friends. Once in our Loka, he went to the underworld. However he did not expect the Hell Realm in our Loka there was no Celestial God Emperor guarding him so he harnessed the power of the Hell Realm to raise up to those 12 friends.”
“You came back to life with the last memory before you were killed,” Princess Shui said to He Ti and Che Ti.
Hearing that He Ti and Che Ti became speechless. One side he felt owed his life right now to Shang Ti, the other side he couldn't possibly go against Shen Long's strength which they thought exceeded Shang Ti's.
“Then Shang Ti intended to close the underworld and hunt down the clans of the underworld. And why do they affect the human world acting arbitrarily?” shen Long asked Princess Shui.
“After learning that the Hell Realm had no one to lead, Shang Ti changed and made himself the new King of the Hell Realm. He closed down the underworld and hunted down the clans of the underworld to send them to the Hell Realm to be his subordinates. Likewise with humans, the more bad humans will be the more inhabitants of the Hell Realm and become his subordinates.” Princess Shui lowered her head.
“I understand. It turns out that it all started from me as well who had imprisoned the Demon God Emperor,” he murmured. “Finally you understand also the importance of myself Shen on the balance of this realm,” whispered the Demon God Emperor in Shen Long's mind.
Shen Long then got up. “I will not let all the inhabitants of the underworld and the human world into the Hell Realm,” he said back.
“We on the sky world gods several times had fought to stop it, but our strength was not enough to fight against the power of the 12 ancient gods.” Princess Shui sighed. “I don't want you killed against them Shen.”
Yun Mei was stunned to hear Princess Shui's words, but she became anxious for Shen Long. He then looked towards Shen Long but did not know what to say.
Shen Long walked towards the garden and looked at the fish pond that was there while thinking of something. “Devil Emperor, how is my seal? Is everything open?” shen Long asked in his thoughts to the Demon God Emperor.
“I have completed 721 seals. Stay again 278 seals have not been opened,” said the Demon God Emperor.
Shen Long smiled. “Good. I can't wait for my true strength to come back,” Shen Long said in his mind. Shen Long's eyes seemed excited, he believed the Demon God Emperor would be able to unleash 999 seals of his strength in the near future. “He Ti, has the imperial advisor received a letter from me?”
“Your Majesty, I have already submitted the letter directly to Liang Ti. I am writing to meet tonight outside the imperial capital. I don't know if he will come or not.” He Ti said.
“How do you deliver the letter directly to him? Why didn't you ask at the time?” shen Long asked did not understand.
“I'm sorry Your Majesty. Liang Ti's strength was far above mine, I could only send out letters using arrows at him. After that I went straight away,” He Ti said truthfully with a red face.
Shen Long's eyes twitched, he patted his eel after hearing that reply from He Ti. “Alright, tonight we wait for him outside the imperial capital.”
Later that night, Shen Long asked Yun Mei with Princess Shui to wait at the inn they had booked in the imperial capital. Shen Long went with the twin gods He Ti and Che Ti to the outside of the imperial capital to meet the ancient god Liang Ti.
Shen Long waited in a hill outside the imperial capital while staring at the stars in the sky. He felt that night was quieter than usual. “There must be a trap around here. All right, I'll follow their game.”
Sure enough, Shen Long thought, dozens of men armed with spears and swords surrounded the three of them. Shen Long shook his head when he saw He Ti was about to fight them.
“Who dare you come to meet with our imperial advisors? What do you need to meet him?” A person dressed in general appeared to emerge from the encirclement approaching Shen Long and the two twin gods.
“I'm just a wanderer who happened to stop by in the capital and wanted to meet with the imperial advisor,” Shen Long sighed, for him too long to explain. “Say directly you guys who came here want what?” shen Long asked them.
The general's face changed upon hearing Shen Long's question. “We were ordered to arrest you and take you to the imperial capital,” the general said confidently.
“Alright, let's get going. Don't let the imperial advisor wait for us.” said Shen Long.
The besieging troops turned to each other in confusion seeing Shen Long casually surrender himself to be taken to the imperial capital.
