CHAPTER 495 | Feixing Island
Shen Long then flew towards that mountain which attracted his attention. Even though night had come, Shen Long still went to find a place to train at the top of the mountain.
The luxurious facilities provided by the organizing committee for Shen Long are not the main thing. He was more concerned with training than enjoying the comfort provided by the committee for the fighters.
Flying, Shen Long approached the top of a mountain not far from the city. The mountain began to darken without any illumination around it. This is in contrast to a city that is already sparklingly lit by night light that looks like daylight.
As Shen Long flew close to the top of the mountain, he felt an immense pressure pulling his body down. Shen Long then descended and landed before reaching the top of the mountain.
“Is the gravitational force on this mountain very high? Not even flying can pass the top of this mountain, Shen Long's inner”.
Shen Long attempted to blow his body back, yet he could not lift his body higher than a meter for too long. Shen Long returned down to the mainland with a slight breath of gasping.
“What mountain is this? Really quite large gravitational force.”
Even though Shen Long had exerted strength at the universe purification stage, he could not set foot so quickly to climb to the top of that mountain. Slowly Shen Long increased his strength to the stage of the universe's enlightenment so that he could walk as usual towards the top of the mountain.
The higher the pressure, the greater the force of gravity and Shen Long increased his strength again to be able to continue walking up to the top of the mountain.
“What a very interesting mountain,” murmured Shen Long felt challenged by the pressure of the mountain.
Approaching the top of the mountain, Shen Long was finally forced to exert his all-powerful awareness stage to be able to head to the highest peak of the mountain.
On arriving at the top of the mountain, Shen Long saw a single strand of chain stretching from the extremely long mountain peak to a point in the distance that floated in the sky.
“It looks like this chain is a bridge leading to that point. What is at the end of this chain?” shen Long thought.
“It is better that I recover my strength first, walking up the top of this mountain has drained almost all of my strength,” Shen Long murmured.
Being at the top of this mountain alone Shen Long had drained almost all of his energy by exerting the power of consciousness to its fullest. So Shen Long sat down first with the intention to recover his strength before figuring out the end of the stretched chain.
For an hour Shen Long tried to adjust his body to the gravitational force on the top of the mountain so as not to be too big to drain his energy. In the next hour Shen Long finally managed to adjust the force of gravity on the top of the mountain.
Then Shen Long jumped onto the chain that spanned at the top of that mountain.
RDRR....
The chain that made a sound echoed in the darkness of the night as Shen Long jumped up and stood on it.
Then Shen Long walked with a high body balance through the chain to the visible point at the end of the chain. The point grew bigger and bigger and looked like an island floating above the sky.
As it got closer, the island looked as bright as evening and Shen Long saw the other two chains stretching from the floating island towards the left and right.
Shen Long stopped and narrowed his eyes looking towards the far end of the chain on his left and right.
“This island looks bright like afternoon. And I could see the chain on the left end that seemed to also be at the top of a mountain, as well as on the right,” Shen Long murmured.
Then Shen Long continued his journey towards the island floating in the sky and landed on it quietly.
“Ah, apparently there are four chains stretching to this island, and the island is like moored on the four mountains around it.”
Shen Long was stunned by that. He was amazed by the floating island.
When Shen Long walked around the island, he saw a cliff high enough in the middle of the island and looked like a house was on top of the cliff.
“Home? Who lives here?” shen Long's.
Shen Long's curiosity made him walk up to the residence that was on top of that cliff. Then Shen Long floated towards the top of the cliff and stood in front of the house.
Shen Long looked around the house to find the owner of the house. He also exerted his strength to check the aura that was around the island. But Shen Long found no aura of life other than the trees in the place, yet he still felt awkward about it.
“Please enter son! I haven't received a guest who came to see me here in a long time.”
Suddenly a male voice rang out from within the house and made Shen Long shocked. He was completely unable to sense the existence of the aura from that person. This made Shen Long's curiosity even greater.
“I'm sorry elder, for being too presumptuous to come here,” Shen Long said.
“It's okay. Login nak!”
The man's voice again rang out and made Shen Long walk into the house quietly.
Inside the house, there was a room that was quite spacious like a guest hall and at the end was a long white-haired man who was sitting cross-legged on the throne.
Shen Long walked up to the old man by narrowing his eyes. The old man seemed to still close his eyes and sit cross-legged calmly even though Shen Long came close to him.
“Chairman, forgive me for interrupting your rest,” Shen Long said as he lowered his head saluting the old man.
The old man then opened his eyes and looked at Shen Long with a shady look and a smile on his lips.
“I'm not disturbed. I am happy with your arrival here,” said the man who then raised his hand.
The old man then pulled out a chair from the side and placed it slowly behind Shen Long.
“Please sit down son! I am FeiHung” continued the old man.
Shen Long again paid his respects to the old man named FeiHung.
“Greetings to elder Fei,” Shen Long said
“You are certainly not from this place. Where are you from and what's your name, son?”
“My name is Shen Long, and I am from the location of 3 elders,” Shen Long said back.
The old man named FeiHung smiled hearing that. “This island is named Feixing Island. I am the owner of this island,” said the old man.
