CHAPTER 8 | Searching for medicinal ingredients
The next morning, Wang Fen put on a sad face calling Shen Long.
“Shen Long, I'd like to ask for your help. My father is very sick, he needs the medicinal ingredients of Rainbow Mushroom and Heaven Grass. Will you help me find him?” pinta Wang Fen with sad face.
“Shen Long is happy to help the Yun family, tell me where to look for Madam?” shen Long asked.
“I heard Rainbow Mushrooms only grow in an area called the Deathly Gorge in the mountainous area of Wudang. No one dared to go there. That's a very dangerous area. While the Heaven Grass was said to have grown in the Sky Sword Grave yet it was very far north near the border of Ming” kingdom
“It is very difficult to find both ingredients of this drug. Otherwise, I will lose my father” cried Wang Fen
“Don't cry madam, I will try to find the two medicinal ingredients and give them to madam” Shen Long said innocently.

“People who enter the Gorge of Death no one ever returns. So is the Sky Sword Grave that is difficult to find and high risk because it is on the border with the Ming kingdom. So, Shen Long would most likely never return again to the Yun family.hehehe.” Wang Fen's laughter in his heart.
After bidding farewell to Wang Fen, Shen Long went to see his wife for a farewell and left the Yun family on horseback heading towards the Wudang mountains.
Yun Mei could not prevent Shen Long's stubborn will from agreeing to something. He ran to his mother's room to ask.
“Mother, what have you done? Why did mom ask Shen Long to look for something impossible?” ask Yun Mei.
“Why? Shouldn't you be happy to take that trash out?” said Wang Fen.
“Junk?” Yun Mei was surprised by her mother's words. He had never considered Shen Long that bad, now his heart gradually began to be touched and happy to be with the good Shen Long and always help the difficulties of the Yun family.
“Mother, why do you think so badly of Shen?” yun Mei asked sadly.
“He's not mom's daughter-in-law. He is just trash brought to this house by your old grandfather.” Wang Fen said.
“You see, what can he give to our Yun family? He's useless. Your grandfather has wrongly chosen a mate for you” continued his mother.
Yun Mei's heart was saddened to hear her mother's words. He could not refute his mother's words, part of his heart did want Shen Long to become someone who made the Yun family a future victor according to his grandfather's expectations.
Yet he could not lose Shen Long who was so kind to himself and the Yun family. At least she never intended to replace Shen Long as her husband with someone else even though she had not been touched by Shen Long for three months.
Upon hearing her mother's words, Yun Mei's heart broke. He ran to his room and cried there.
Yun Chao who heard his son's story about Shen Long's departure due to Wang Fen's actions became furious.
“Wang Fen, what have you done?” yun Chao shouted furiously at his wife.
“Why? Am I wrong not to ask my son-in-law for help in finding medicinal ingredients?” saith
“But what you asked for is far-fetched and very impossible” continued Yun Chao.
Yun Chao's head became dizzy hearing his wife's reason, he hoped that Shen Long could return to the Yun Family safely. But he was afraid that his father would blame him for Shen Long's departure.
“I'll talk to dad later if he comes from the capital” said Wang Fen.
“I hope you can return safely Shen” thought Yun Chao.
Although the beginning of Yun Mei and Shen Long's marriage was much disliked by the Yun family, they were slowly able to accept Shen within the Yun family because of the kindness of his heart except for Wang Fen.
“Finally I can expel that trash from this family” thought Wang Fen in his heart.
“Sister-in-law, I heard you managed to drive away your trash son-in-law with a brilliant idea. The boy was not talented in martial arts, nor in medicine and alchemy. So why nurture such a person” praise Yun Li to Wang Fen.
“Iya brother. I've long felt disgusted to be close to him. Your daughter-in-law is no different than a maid. Just spent our family's food ration” dreaded Yun Li's wife, Xie Yan.
“My family's tomorrow will be holding my ponakan engagement party with the royal war general Liu. Brother can take Yun Mei there to find him another better soul mate” continued Xie Yan.

While some of the Yun family rejoiced at Shen Long's departure. Yun Mei locked herself inside the room for the sadness of losing Shen Long.
Outside Weiyang City, Shen Long who had been far away riding stopped his horse from resting. Shen Long was not a fool, he knew Wang Fen's intention to get rid of him from the Yun family.
That was why Shen Long agreed to it, because he wanted Yun Mei to get a better husband than this useless one of hers. Although Shen Long's heart was also sad to leave him, but he had to do it.
Shen Long had no purpose where to go, so he followed Wang Fen's desire to search for the Rainbow Mushroom to the Deathly Gorge even though he knew the chances were very small to get what he was looking for. He was not afraid of dying, it was better to relieve his heartache of losing Yun Mei.
Then Shen Long continued his journey eastward to Weiyang and arrived at the Wudang mountain range. The Wudang Mountains were the territory of the Wudang sword sect. The abyss of death was between one of the mountains there.
After climbing one of the hills, Shen Long finally managed to arrive in front of the Deathly Gorge. Shen Long got off his horse and stood at the edge of the cliff. After breathing the horse saddle and letting it loose. Shen Long attempted to descend the slope of the ravine.
By utilizing the roots of plants and rocks on the slope of the ravine, whether it had been how many hours he went down the slope carefully but had not found the bottom of the ravine.
Suddenly a wind blew making his grip detached from the roots of the plant and he also fell into the abyss. But luckily his foot stuck to the roots of other plants that made him stop falling.
Darkened. The surroundings are dark. Shen could not see anything from his place hanging on it, just a small light that was very far above the abyss.
“Sials. I don't know how deep the bottom of this ravine” thought as he tried to take his foot off the plant root and change his position.
But damn back he fell and hit the bottom of the abyss, his body hurt not playing. He felt his hand break because it was holding his fallen body.
