CHAPTER 289 | Arrive in the underworld back
Everyone from the lower world clan was excited to hear the words of Shen Long who wanted to go to the underworld to save the people of the underworld from the colonization of the ancient gods.
“Your Highness, how to get to the underworld? All the portals to the underworld have been closed by the ancient gods?” Shan Lang looked puzzled at the thought of a way to go to the underworld.
“You forgot that I have a YingLong Dragon that can penetrate all three realms without portal.” Shen Long smiled at Shan Lang. “Dragon YingLong get out!” Shen Long then called out to the YingLong Dragon.
A giant Dragon emerged from Shen Long's ring, “What did Your Majesty call me?” ask the Dragon YingLong.
The eyes of the gods Zhou Ti and Che Ti were wide-eyed not expecting Shen Long to have a dragon for his vehicle. “This child is far beyond what I imagined. This got even more interesting,” Zhou Ti muttered in his heart after seeing that YingLong dragon.
In contrast to Shan Lang, Water Demon King Shui Ni and Metal Dragon King Jin Long, the three of them looked radiant and bright looking at the presence of the YingLong dragon they had once seen through the underworld realm.
“Let's go,” invite Shen Long who leads up to YingLong's back. Then the others climbed onto YingLong's back with Che Ti and Zhou Ti still stunned to not believe the existence of the dragon.
“YingLong, take us to the underworld!” Shen Long gave the order to the dragon YingLong. “Good sir,” sahut Naga YingLong.
The YingLong Dragon then shot up into the sky then swerved to take a swipe before finally swooping down through into the ground that had been hollowed out by the crown above its head. YingLong's body pierced into the ground towards the underworld with Shen Long and his companions who were on her back.
A few minutes later they had arrived at the underworld realm and emerged from the underworld sky. Shen Long saw from the height of the scene in the underworld far different from within his memories. Now it looks an arid land and many ruins of the city around it.
“Isn't this the eastern region of the beast clan race?” Shen Long asked Shan Lang.
Shan Lang himself was surprised to see the changes in his current royal territory. When Shan Lang handed over power to his successor the Weasel King, then he went to the human world to adventure and search for his friends who were in the human world at that time.
The state of the underworld of the eastern region of his kingdom was not as it seemed today. He was also surprised to see in the distance the pagoda belonging to the highest priest had destroyed the top to leave the bottom only which also had lived the ruins.
They landed on the land of the underworld, then Shen Long returned the YingLong dragon into his storage ring which had a realm for the residence of the YingLong dragon.
Shan Lang looked furiously around the place which now only remains ruins. His heart felt sad and also angry to see his birthplace that had changed.
“Your Majesty, my southern region was also destroyed when we fled to the human world. We do not know if there are still dragon clans left in this underworld,” said Metal Dragon King Jin Long
As they were looking around, suddenly...
“Nak, don't play around with sharp weapons!” said Shan Lang looking at the little ones.
Shen Long watched the faces of the children mostly feeling doubt and fear. He then asked Che Ti to bring out the food and drink supplies they brought. Shan Lang also took out his food and drink and handed over all their supplies to the children.
The children's eyes seemed very happy to receive the supplies, they rushed to leave the place to go to the ruins of the city. Shen Long blinked his eyes at Shan Lang who then understood his point. Shan Lang with his best friend Shui Ni then moved to follow the children from a distance.
The boys move like trained spies, they split up and move around to mess up their tracks and erase their tracks. Then they meet again at some point to walk together again.
Shan Lang smiled watching that, although for strong people like them it was very easy. But what the children did was enough to trick people who were below the general level.
Shan Lang then continued to follow the small children who were walking into the forest. Then they went to a hidden cave in that place and entered it. Inside the cave, there is a cliff that is not visible from the outside world. They also followed the children who walked down the cliff.
At the end of the cliff appears a hidden valley covered by large trees around it. Under the tree there are some simple huts made of wood trunks of trees and leaves as the roof.
The children then distributed the supplies they managed to get from Shan Lang and his friends. The figures of parents and other children appear more in the hut. They were happy to get the food.
“Shui Ni, go to call Your Majesty here,” pinta Shan Lang. Shui Ni immediately went back to meet Shen Long and reported the place to him. After that Shan Lang got up and walked over to their hiding place.
The children who had requested supplies from Shan Lang were shocked when they saw Shan Lang's arrival. They immediately pulled out sharp weapons to prepare to fight back when Shan Lang attacked them.
The people who were in that place immediately panicked and tried to hide into the hut. However there was an old man who narrowed his eyes when he saw Shan Lang's face clearly.
“Your Majesty the King, is that you?” The old man seemed to be walking hurriedly towards Shan Lang. “Ah, it turns out to be you Your Highness.” The old man then dropped his body on his knees in front of Shan Lang.
Shan Lang then restrained the old man's body and was about to wake him up. “Your Highness Shan Lang, nice to see you again,” suddenly some old man in the hideout scattering out of their hut. Those who knew Shan Lang immediately knelt in front of Shan Lang.
Shan Lang's brows twitched at the scene. He felt guilty for not being able to protect his people and make them live as tormented as they are today. Shan Lang looked at the people with a moved face.
“I'm sorry that I can't protect you all,” Shan Lang said with a sad face.
