CHAPTER 41 | Back to the real world
Just before the 72 days ended in the secret realm, everyone who entered the secret realm had prepared at their last location.
Shen Long's group had already exited the sword tower and were standing in the courtyard of the tower waiting for the opening of a real-world door that would bring them back to real life gathering with their respective families.
Elder Xie and Elder Yang were tense because today they would be free to return to the real world after nearly 10 years of disappearing.
“Will we make it out of this secret realm?” elder Xie was a little nervous.
“I hope so too. I don't know what happened to my family after disappearing almost 10 years ago.” said elder Yang
In contrast to Shen Long, his experience during coming out of the Yun Family looking for medicinal ingredients made him grateful for the good fortune he had obtained.
“Yun May, wait for this useless husband of yours back” he thought.
Even though Shen Long had never touched Yun Mei since marriage, she deeply appreciated and cherished her. To her Yun Mei was the first woman to pay great attention to herself when everyone around her thought of her as useless.
“Shen's sister, I have prepared a drink for our celebration before returning to the real world. Let's have a drink with” Xu Meng said as she handed out drinks to the people in the tower's courtyard.
“I won't let you out of here” thought Xu Meng who envied Shen Long.
Everyone did not feel anything strange about Xu Meng's behavior, except for Dong Fang Yin who knew of her nature.
Dong Fang Yin was slightly suspicious of Xu Mengs sudden good demeanor before they returned to the realms.
Shen Long was unsuspecting to none of them, yet Yan Luo in her mind whispered” Shen, I smell something fishy in this drink. You better not drink it”
The warning from Yan Luo made Shen Long cautious and did not directly gulp down the drink. But still holding in his hand.
“Let's all let's toast” Xu Meng said then raised the glass and sipped his own drink.
Then he again poured his glass and raised it back “Let's brother Shen we drink together for the success of regaining the blood dagger”
“Brother Xu Meng, we have not returned to the real world, we should postpone our drinking. There is still time to drink after returning to the pavilion of the holy sword sect” Shen Long said with a condescension.
“True, I agree with Shen Long. After returning, we have plenty of time to drink together” said elder Xie who was accompanied by a nod from elder Yang.
Then the three of them put back their glasses. This made Xu Meng grow furious in his heart.
“Sialang. You don't find me useful. You guys don't appreciate me” Xu Meng said in her angry heart but couldn't do anything.
“Alright, then I will save this drink for later we celebrate in the holy sword sect” said Xu Meng by gritting his teeth disappointed.
Seeing this, Dong Fang Yin was even more disappointed with Xu Meng whom he considered to be like his elder brother. He felt Xu Meng's attitude was too excessive.
Suddenly the sky in the secret realm changed and slowly began to disappear in front of each place there was a circle of portals that showed a waterfall inside.
“Hahaha. Let's go” take elder Xie to the others.
In the real world, there had been many people from various sects and colleges waiting for the return of their people who had entered into the secret realm.
Dong Fang Lei, the head of the Sacred Sword Sect came alone to welcome back his daughter with Shen Long and Xu Meng. Dong Fang Lei looked a little nervous accompanied by vice-chairman Shi Lang and elder Jiang Xu with him.
Then appeared elder Xie from behind the waterfall with elder Yang accompanied by a sound of laughter relieved at being able to return to the real world without covering up his cultivation energy.
Everyone was shocked by the appearance of those who had the cultivation of the god realm coming out from those secret realms. They had never seen two elders emerge from the secret realm.
“This are they the elders guarding the sword tower?” dong Fang Lei said he recognized her.
“What happened? Did Shen Long manage to retrieve that blood dagger?” Dong Fang Lei grew nervous
After that appeared one by one Dong Fang Yin, Xu Meng, Xie Lin, Shen Long and Chen Mulan along with people from other sects and colleges including Li Bei and prince Gu were disguised with their headscarves.
“Daddy” shouted Dong Fang Yin who directly approached the head of the holy sword sect.
Dong Fang Lei's face turned bright seeing that his daughter had returned safely with Xu Meng and Shen Long.
Elder Xie and elder Yang turned their heads in the direction mentioned by Dong Fang Yin then floated up to him.
“Chairmen of the sect, we this old one wants to visit your sect” said they almost simultaneously respect the head of the holy sword sect.
“The sacred sword sect received a visit from the elders” Dong Fang Lei bowed his body to the two elders.
“Hahaha..We can finally go back to this real world” their laughter comes back endlessly with happy hearts.
Xie Lin had also felt happy since losing her father, only this grandfather had always loved her but could only meet her once a year. But now, his grandfather has returned and he can always be with him.
Chen Mulan approached Shen Long and whispered “Shen's sister, see you again” then went missing.
Shen Long looked at Chen Mulan's departure without knowing where the girl came from. Then he turned his head towards the head of the holy sword sect.
“Chairman, we have returned” he said
“Let's go back to the residence of the holy sword sect first” said sect head Dong Fang Lei inviting them all.
While people from other sects and colleges also met their relatives. Li Bei and prince Gu turned their heads and smiled at Shen Long from a distance who was also met with a smile from Shen Long while bowing his body. Then they went missing with their relatives.
After everyone had left the waterfall one by one, Shen Long searched for his Kahyangan Sky sword which was stuck on the cliff wall.
The sword trembled and buzzed as soon as Shen Long approached it as if welcoming its owner back. Then the sword pulled itself out and flew towards Shen Long.
“Friends, do you guys miss me?” shen Long asked with a smile on the sword in his hand.
With the granting of the storage ring from elder Xie, it was now easy for Shen Long to store his belongings there. After inserting the celestial sword, Shen Long then followed the head of the holy sword sect and the others towards the sect residence.
