CHAPTER 55 | Meet Elder and Chairman Yun
“Wu Chen, go find a place to rest” Shen Long said to Wu Chen while handing over the money to him.
“Do you not want to stay here?” ask Mu Rong
“There's something I have to do, I don't want anything to happen to the Wuming” school Shen Long said.
Shen Long wanted to provoke the arrival of the person who was going to kidnap him, so it was certainly easier for him to stay outside of Wuming College for the kidnapper to appear immediately.
“You won't tell me, will you?” said Mu Rong cynically.
“Sorry, this is for the good of Wuming College. I really appreciate Miss Mu's concern for me” Shen Long said.
After that Shen Long said goodbye to Mu Rong and his brother Mu Kai to go to the inn that Wu Chen had booked.
Although Shen Long had booked a room, he had more often wandered outside to lure people who wanted to kidnap him but had yet to show up. He strolls through the city alone and sits in a deserted food stall and orders food and drinks.
Shen Long tried to feign drunkenness by drinking heavily but he had sealed the nerves of his consciousness so as not to get drunk easily. While he pretended to be drunk and asleep, suddenly a beautiful figure appeared and sat in front of him.
“So you avoided me just to drink alone?” mu Rong's Murmur.
“Gosh, why is this woman again the one who showed up” thought Shen Long in his drunken pretense.
Then Mu Rong grabbed Shen Long to drive him home to his inn.
“Eh, Miss Mu. Your face is beautiful tonight.” said Shen Long feigned drunkenness then grabbed Mu Rong's chin limply.
“Shameful. If you're not the person I like, I won't do this” thought Mu Rong in his heart.
Shen Long felt that he was already pretending to be drunk so well that Mu Rong himself did not notice it.
“Come on, Miss Mu, we enjoy tonight together over a drink. Accompany me to drink again” Shen Long said while pretending to be limp and walking over.
“Already, do not drink again” said Mu Rong with his face red
“You are indeed talented to play drama as well as Shen” Yan Luo whispered
When the two of them were on the deserted streets, suddenly two people appeared who were blocking in front and the other four were blocking behind them.
“Finally you guys showed up as well” thought Shen Long with a smile
“Who are you?” yelled Mu Rong.
“Send that person to us if you want to survive. Then go” said the person in front of them.
“Not going. I'm not gonna hand it to you. I'm from Wuming College. You guys don't fuckin'” shouted Mu Rong back.
“Cih, just hordes of cockroaches from Wuming. Your college is nothing compared to us” said the person in front again.
“Mu Rong, don't fight them. I deliberately lured them” whispered Shen Long quietly to Mu Rong all of a sudden and made her realize that Shen Long was just pretending to be drunk.
“Not much nonsense let's summarize them” shouted the other person in front.
The four people behind immediately charged towards Shen Long and Mu Rong. Then Mu Rong followed Shen Long's lead by pretending to be slow moving and giving up on them.
Then they both passed out and were taken away.
“Shen, that person put muscle-squeezing poison on you to weaken your cultivation” Yan Luo whispered.
“But take it easy, any poison doesn't work for me. I'll get it out for you. But this takes a few minutes.” continued Yan Luo back
Shen Long then examined Mu Rong's body and felt the same way towards him. After successfully removing the poison from his body, he then tried to remove the poison from Mu Rong's body.
When Mu Rong regained consciousness, he saw that Shen Long was touching his chest making his face turn red.
“A..What are you doing Shen?” yelled Mu Rong weakly.
“Relax, I'm removing the poison from your body. This muscle weakening poison” said Shen Long who continued to try to remove the poison from Mu Rong's body.
Mu Rong's face turned red and embarrassed, then he felt a heat rush about to come out from within his body. “Ah” he cried weakly then spouted blood from his mouth.
“Your poison has been removed, immediately restore yourself. Later if they come, pretend as if you are still poisoned.” whispered Shen Long.
“You're the smartest to pretend ya” whispered Mu Rong insinuating.
Shen Long's eyes twitched hearing him, then he tried to look around him. There were some iron cages all around them and there were people in them who were not few in number.
Shen Long could not clearly see their faces. But he could guess that they were all healers who had been kidnapped by this plot.
Slowly Shen Long approached the distance to see those people more clearly through the confinement. Next to him were three people who were being caged with unraveled hair, dirty faces and weakly injured.
“Chairman Yun” shouts Shen Long suddenly.
Right, the person next door called elder Yun suddenly raised his head looking at Shen Long.
“Who called me?” sahut weak.
Shen Long was overjoyed to have found Yun Mei's grandfather. Then he approached his cage.
“Old Yun, it's Shen Long. Where is chairman Yun?” ask her
“Shen Long? This I” suddenly the person lying next to elder Yun sat down and crept closer to the confinement towards Shen Long.
“True, you're Shen Long. Long time no see. Why are you here?” ask chief Yun.
“Long story. I'll get you all out of here” said Shen Long.
“Forget son. You have no power. They have also used muscle-weakening toxins on all of us. So you better save your energy” said chairman Yun resigned.
What Chairman Yun said was the pessimism felt by all of them in the cage. They were there for more than a month or even an year, so they felt they had no hope of escaping from that place.
“Let the chairman Yun, I will get you out” said Shen Long who sounded comforting to those who were there.
Shen Long then took out the breadfruit dagger from his storage ring then with a hint of god realm energy he used it to cut through his confinement without causing a loud sound.
The people in the cage were all shocked to see that. By seeing Shen Long make it out of his confinement, their eyes were as if they had gotten a straw of life and hope of being able to leave that place.
Then, Shen Long opened all the confinements in that place quickly until everyone could get out. Shen Long had Mu Rong guard the door while he passed out a condition recovery pill to all of them. Then he removed the muscle-weakening poison from their bodies one by one.
