CHAPTER 487 | Entering the imperial palace
Hearing about to leave for the imperial palace made Xu Xian's eyeballs become more and more sparkling. He felt his life at this place would be better than at his home.
Xu Xian smiled to himself as he stared at the crowd of the imperial capital that was holding a celebration. The carriage that carried them through the crowd of the capital headed to the Dragon imperial palace.
Xu Xian's face seemed to be blushing happily at the majestic Dragon imperial palace that was far different from the kingdom in his home location.

The horse-drawn carriage boarded by the ministers Wang Jiao and Xu Xian went straight to the interior of the palace after passing the inspection several times. And during the final examination, only minister Wang Jiao was allowed to go to meet the Dragon Emperor in the imperial meeting room.

“Nona, let's please!” The servant led the way to escort Xu Xian to the imperial living room to enjoy the dishes that had been prepared at the place.
Xu Xian was then invited to a very magnificent room equipped with beautiful and neatly arranged seats and tables.
“Who is this woman?” ask the waiter who led Xu Xian to the living room.
“Ah Your Majesty, this is the family of minister Wang Jiao,” said the waiter while saluting a woman who came to the living room.
Xu Xian also paid his respects. “Sorry Your Highness, I am a distant family of minister Wang Jiao. I happened to arrive today and was invited together to the palace by Minister Wang for being summoned by His Imperial Majesty,” Xu Xian said as he lowered his head.
The woman who came was the emperor's consort, she was called as empress Sun. Empress Sun's eyes narrowed at Xu Xian, she felt that there was something to Xu Xian's beauty.
While Xu Xian who was being stared at like that by empress Sun became nervous, he then cast his enchanting spell on empress Sun. Then he exerted that spell energy on Empress Sun.
When the binding spell hit Empress Sun, she felt her head become heavy and felt dizzy. Empress Sun staggered and nearly fell.
“Your Majesty!” Shouted his servants. Xu Xian also pretended to be surprised by it.
It was fortunate that the servants who were accompanying him swiftly grabbed his body and then led him to a chair to rest.
Empress Sun's face looked pale, her breathing was wheezing. The servants looked terrified seeing such a sudden thing.
“Call the palace healer!” Shouted one of his servants.
“Preferably get some water, Your Majesty will definitely be better,” Xu Xian said later.
A servant immediately took water and drank it to Empress Sun.
Empress Sun's face began to appear improved and her breathing slowly returned to normal. His eyes began to sparkle staring at Xu Xian.
“My name is Xu Xian, Your Majesty,” Xu Xian said.
“Let's enjoy the palace dishes that have been provided. We can talk together in the living room,” said Empress Sun.
Then Empress Sun ordered her servants to start preparing the dining room as she and Xu Xian would dine together there.
Empress Sun smiled and invited Xu Xian to go to the dining room to dine.
In the living room, Xu Xian returned to chanting the enchantment spell and exerted it onto the dishes on the table. He also respectfully served Empress Sun by giving her the food she had chosen. Of course the food had been given an alluring spell for Empress Sun.
“Miss Xu, stay a few days in this palace!” empress Sun said to Xu Xian.
Xu Xian knew that his enchantment had possessed the mind of Empress Sun. He nodded his head to accept the offer.
“Thank you Your Majesty,” Xu Xian said as he lowered his head.
After the meal, Empress Sun herself drove Xu Xian around the imperial palace and was accompanied by Sun's maids.
By nightfall, the meeting of imperial officials had ended. Minister Wang Jiao searched for Xu Xian's whereabouts in the imperial palace but found none. He asked the servants and found that Xu Xian was with Empress Sun.
Minister Wang Jiao immediately went to meet Empress Sun at her residence. How surprised he was when he saw Xu Xian look familiar with Empress Sun like an old friend who had met again.
“Your Majesty, I came to pick up Xu Xian,” minister Wang Jiao said as she lowered her head at Empress Sun.
“Ah minister Wang, please come in. I also want to talk to you,” Empress Sun told him.
Minister Wang Jiao then entered Empress Sun's residence and knelt at the door.
“Minister Wang, I want Xu Xian to stay with me at this imperial palace,” continued Empress Sun.
Minister Wang Jiao's eyes twitched hearing that, she didn't expect that Empress Sun would offer Xu Xian to stay at Empress Sun's residence.
Seeing the change in the countenance of Minister Wang Jiao, Empress Sun then put on a cold face and stared intently at Wang Jiao.
“Do you defy my orders?” threaten Empress Sun to Wang Jiao.
“Ng... Servant does not dare Your Majesty, but.”.
“Alright, I think you've agreed. You can go!” empress Sun said she returned while ordering her servants to expel minister Wang Jiao from the residence.
Disappointed minister Wang Jiao left Xu Xian at the residence of Empress Sun. But he could not get angry at Xu Xian. After all, it was Empress Sun herself who wanted Xu Xian to stay in her place.
After the departure of minister Wang Jiao, Xu Xian was relieved. He did not want to leave the residence of Empress Sun. This was his chance to become a part of that imperial palace.
