The Pledge of the Ingkar

The Pledge of the Ingkar
IYI 1'S

A car is now the center of attention. The car was visibly destroyed after crashing into a large tree due to brake blong, the sight of fire from the car made no one dare to approach. Everyone who witnessed it all could only scream staring at the three people who were in the car.

Some people prayed that there would be a miracle that could save the three people seen in the car.

"Oh my God, why are they so long?" said an old woman who had earlier swiftly called for reinforcements.

The sparks of fire and smoke coming out of the car were increasingly visible and it made everyone even more hysterical. No one dared to approach, until finally a man and woman barged close to the car that allegedly was about to burn.

"Please... Please save my daughter! Please," said a woman with a bloodied body staring at a couple who dared to approach her.

"Mas, hurry!" the woman shouted at her husband to see the smoke growing thicker.

The man rushed to get a large rock, repeatedly tried to hit the car glass until it broke, then rushed out to pull out the little girl who had just cried in the car.

"Mothers... Daddy!" the little girl shouted as she was taken away from the crash site by the woman who was helping her.

The man was still trying to save the woman in the car despite the hysterical screams of many people being heard as he watched the back of the car start to burn.

"Try with me, we fight together!" the man said to the woman he was trying to save.

"It's too late. I can't leave my husband. We promised to be alive or dead. Go, please take care of my daughter Zoya–! I beg you." said the woman with a cry mixed with blood on her face.

Seeing the fire getting bigger, with a heavy heart and repeatedly saying sorry, the man moved away from the car and seconds after that the car exploded.

"No!"

Zoya cries every time the dream comes, a dream that becomes Zoya's worst memory where she lost both her parents.

"Dad, mom. I miss you guys so much!" he said sobbing taking a picture frame on the nightstand, then hugging it.

Fifteen years have passed and during that time Zoya also holds the status of an orphan. Even though Zoya's affection is obtained from the couple who saved her, but still all of it will not be able to erase Zoya's longing for her parents.

Yep. A married couple who saved Zoya became a guardian for Zoya. Although not living together because Zoya refused to come out of her house, but the couple continued to monitor Zoya's development and make sure Zoya lived properly.

Zoya lives with a woman assigned to look after her, the woman Zoya calls her aunt becomes the third mother for Zoya.

Zoya slowly stops her crying as Zoya recalls her foster parents who haven't seen her in a while.

Wulan and Ryan Sandjaja, Zoya's adoptive parents. The sincerity of the two makes Zoya feel so grateful and respectful towards both as Zoya respects her father and mother.

"Why did Auntie and Om never come again? Did something happen? Or have they taken care of me?" zoya wondered.
