Of course today's meeting was very important, so William couldn't cancel today's meeting. Because all of this is related to a professional attitude at work. William knew Renata was a woman who could always understand William well. It was impossible for Renata to ignore him this time, because as far as William knew, Renata was a good and mature woman. William who woke up from his daydream immediately turned his head towards Rian. William knew that Rian was angry at him at this moment. It should not have lost its concentration at a time like this, but William also could not calm down thinking about Renata. Since William's life had always been centered on Renata, it was very difficult for William to break the old habit.

"I'm sorry, dad. I will not repeat my mistake again”, said William who felt a little annoyed at feeling his father had lowered his pride in front of many people.

“You must understand that there are many things you should prioritize more, because you do not live in the past. You have a lot of responsibility to take now. Don't disappoint me by being irresponsible. Are you ready to listen to the whole meeting today? rian asked who had clearly warned William out loud.

“I understand, Dad. I'll concentrate on listening to today's meeting.”

After William said that, the meeting started again. This time, William was able to focus his attention on the ongoing meeting. Because William doesn't want to embarrass himself anymore. Although Rian had fully surrendered the company to William, Rian still had the special right to oversee the running of the company. Therefore, William does not yet have full power to determine all matters relating to the company.

After the meeting was over, Rian invited William to speak privately in the room. Rian certainly wants to warn William not to get too close to Renata, Rian also will not let William hurt Zoya. Rian already considers Zoya as his daughter. How is Rian willing to see Zoya hurt by William? Just because the woman from William's past has returned.

"What do you want me to talk to?" william asked when they reached his father's room.

“Dad wants to talk about your relationship with Renata. I know Renata is back in your life. So don't ever hide anything from Dad, William. Now I just want you to explain what happened. Is it true that you ignored a very important meeting just for that woman." Rian is not a person who likes to beat around the bush when saying something.

William is shocked to learn that Rian already has information about Renata, but William cannot lie to his father, because William knows that his father is not an easy person to fool. Therefore, William chose to tell everything honestly.

“So, if you manage to catch up with the woman, what would you like to explain to her? Of course you'll do everything you can to please her, so what do you want to explain to make her happy?" rian asked who could not hide his anger from William.

“I just explained that I didn't mean to let Zoya touch my phone, it's just that I fell asleep last night so I don't know if Renata called me. Renata will understand my explanation. So he won't ignore me.” William had thought of telling Renata this reason. William was sure Renata would be doomed after hearing all his explanations.

Rian hit his desk very hard, all of which Rian did as an emotional outlet on William. Rian never thought William would say such a demeaning thing to Zoya just to persuade the woman of her past. The woman who left him when Willi was at his worst. How could Rian let William do all this to Zoya?

“Dad, I didn't mean to underestimate Zoya at all. I just wanted to explain everything to Renata, because Zoya had never touched my phone before. What's wrong with my reasons?" William also could not accept if Rian just blamed him. Because according to William the reason William wanted to say was not at all degrading Zoya.

“Zoya never touched your phone, does that mean Zota has no right to do so? Zoya can't touch your phone, while Zoya is your legal wife. Isn't it natural that Zoya receives an incoming call through your phone? Are you going to blame Zoya for this act, while Zoya is just trying not to wake you up from your deep sleep? Is this a good reason for you to tell that woman, William? asked Rian who did not understand his son's mind.

“Dad, stop calling that woman Renata, because she has a name. Why do you keep acting like you don't know him? Though Renata almost married me before the matter happened. Stop treating Renata like a stranger. Because my father clearly knew how close I was to Renata before," said William who was very sad to hear Rian insulting Renata.

“You dare to go against me just because I don't want to mention that woman's name? I also know that all this time you have been overshadowed by your past. But you also have to realize that your situation is now very different from before. You already have Zoya! You can no longer give your heart to another woman, because I will not let you hurt my daughter. You have to decide, who should be your priority now!"

“Dad, I have absolutely no intention of going against you, I just want Dad to fix Renata's nickname. Renata was once someone who had a lot of meaning in my life. So shouldn't you not be so mean to him? After all, the farewell that happened between the two of us was because of you. If all that hadn't happened, of course I would've been living as Renata."

“I really don't care how the two of you got separated, because all I know now is that you have to prioritize Zoya above everything else. Remember if you can walk like this again, it's thanks to Zoya's hard work. So, you have to think about Zoya's feelings before deciding anything about your past. Once again I say, William, I will not let you hurt Zoya because Zoya is already our daughter, even if you are our biological son. If all this happens, I will revoke your right to run our family business. After that, let's see who's on your side when you're down. Now you can go back to your room, because there's nothing else I want to talk to you about!" Rian kicked William out because he was a little fed up with his son.

William vented all of his anger when he reached his personal space. William does not expect to get a strong reprimand from his father just because of Zoya. William again felt that Zoya's presence was so wrong in his life.
