After that one sentence came out of William's lips, between Zoya and William no one opened their voices at all. The two lovebirds are busy with their own thoughts, especially Zoya who is confused half-dead with the intention of William's spontaneous speech. While William cursed his stupidity because he could not control his tongue. But what do you want to say? Rice has become porridge. What had been said from William's lips could not be retracted anymore.

Zoya looked at William with a question mark. The girl did not hide her curiosity at all. He just blatantly showed it. He wanted to ask William what he meant but he was afraid that his question would offend William. They've been living together for a few months, so Zoya automatically knows how William is. The man dislikes being told to repeat what he has said.

‘What does Liam mean exactly? Is it true that he hasn't thought about Renata in a long time?’ ask Zoya in my heart.

William walked towards the sofa, then took a seat. Even though he could stand, his legs still hurt and sore if he stood too long. He needed to sit down to neutralize the aches in his legs.

Zoya follows William, then sits next to William. The girl was still wondering if what William said about Renata was true or not. But still, it wasn't Zoya's name if she didn't have any doubts.

‘Is it true that Liam has not thought about Renata? Hasn't William always been looking for Renata?’ ask Zoya again.

Zoya took a deep breath. The curiosity that gnawed his mind would not stop and be cured if he did not ask William directly. The girl finally convinced herself to ask. But before Zoya could open her mouth to ask, William had preceded her first.

“I consider our marriage a serious one, Zoya. I'm not the kind of guy who thinks marriage is a joke,” William said as he looked straight at Zoya's bead.

William's remarks this time are arguably a contradiction to what he did at the beginning of their marriage. At the beginning of the marriage, William did not hesitate to hurt Zoya and make the beautiful girl as his personal servant. Not stopping there, William never even considered Zoya as his wife and always thought that their marriage was a disaster for him who still very much expected the presence of Renata.

I don't know what made William change his mind. However, it is likely that the feelings William has for Renata slowly wear off after he spends a lot of time with his wife, Zoya.

“Didn't you not want this wedding in the first place, Mas?” zoya asked as she furrowed her brows, forming a curved line.

“I'm just like you, Zoya. At the beginning of our marriage we didn't know each other. Think about it, when we got married we just met twice. First when fitting a wedding dress, and the second is on our wedding day. Did you accept me as your husband?” William asked back.

Zoya was pensive to hear that. What William said was true. Even Zoya at the beginning of their marriage has not been able to accept the reality. Maybe if Zoya can still control herself and not show it openly. But if William? She can't be like Zoya.

“You're right, Mas. Everything is indeed very rushed,” Zoya replied while nodding her head.

Marriage that occurs because of an arranged marriage is not all going smoothly. The same goes for the marriage of Zoya and William. But, at least they have now begun to learn to accept each other. It may be true that people say that love will come because they are used to it. Just like the hearts of Zoya and William who began to accept each other even though they did not want to admit it openly.

William nodded. “I haven't thought about him in a long time, Zoya. Maybe we are not a match,” said William bitter.

William himself did not know where his feelings for Renata had gone. All he knew, slowly he began to stop thinking about the girl who had been filling the niches for years.

‘Can I trust Liam's words?’ ask Zoya in my heart. Although William seems very confident in his words, Zoya is still made to worry by doubt. The girl remembers William saying that Zoya could never take Renata's place in William's heart. Is it possible for William to build a commitment with Zoya without any love?

“Zoya, I won't cheat let alone look for another woman after I get married. Maybe I'm not good at showing it with my attitude or words because this is how I am. But, I promise I will not wish you,” William said sincerely while accompanied by a sweet smile.

“Mas, i ..” Zoya is confused to respond to William's words with what kind of sentence. He was shocked to hear William's confession which he felt was impossible to hear. Zoya thought William hated her. How could Zoya just trust a man who at the beginning of their marriage just put a picture of herself with another girl?

“Stt ... I'm not done talking.” William puts his index finger in front of Zoya's lips, makes Zoya clench her lips, then continues her sentence. “We may get married because of an arranged marriage. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna cheat on you. I won't be looking for another woman, Zoya.”

Zoya gasped at William's words. The girl shook her head, still unable to believe what William had just said. The girl was too shocked to say anything more.

‘Can Liam start liking me?’ ask Zoya in my heart.

Zoya is getting confused. How not? William's words just now unconsciously hinted that the man was beginning to harbor feelings for Zoya. Is there anyone in this world who promises not to find another woman if he does not like his current partner? Interacting intensely without liking is difficult, especially if you have to commit to someone who is not liked. It seems impossible that William would be willing to do this without having any feelings for Zoya.

“Do you love me, Mas?” ask Zoya.

William gasp. The man looked at Zoya confused. “What? Why do you think that?” William asked back.

“All the sentences you said as if you liked me. So, is my guess right that you're starting to love me, Mas?” zoya once again.

William paused for a moment and said, “If I love you ... What about you, Zoya? Do you feel the same?”
