The Pledge of the Ingkar

The Pledge of the Ingkar
IYI 38'S

The girl laid her body on the bed. After half a day doing homework such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning, she was finally able to rest in her room. He stared at the ceiling of the mattress while adjusting the roar of his breath that was hunting due to fatigue. Zoya may be used to doing homework. However, William's house was almost five times larger than his. So it's only natural that Zoya feels exhausted.

“Hm, I have to take care of Liam. But, I don't know what to do. Liam just doesn't want to chat with me,” said Zoya confused because she doesn't know how to take care of William.

“Ah, let it go. Later if he needs help he will call me,” Zoya said again.

He is currently thinking of ways to get William to heal as soon as possible so that he can get divorced with William and live as he could. If he could take care of William until he recovered, he could return the favor. That way he could pay for the kindness that Wulan and Ryan had been doing all along.

Come to think of it, this would sound ridiculous. On the first day of her marriage, Zoya is already looking forward to the divorce day between herself and William. He could not wait for that day to come because it would be the happiest day of Zoya's life because she would be free of William.

To spend some free time, Zoya decides to call Desi. Just a day away from meeting Desi, Zoya already misses the woman who has been taking care of her since childhood. For Zoya, Desi is the hero of her life.

“Halo, Aunt Desi,” greet Zoya.

“Halo, Zoya. How was your first night?” seductive Desi because she thought last night Zoya and William did something that the newlyweds should have done.

Zoya smiled wryly. How would the first night be if William was still so cold to her?

“Last night we were so exhausted so we delayed it, Aunty,” to Zoya. Sometimes lying is nothing. As long as it is for the good and does not cause suspicion from others about the household he is living.

Desi's crisp laughter sounded melodious. “Zoya, you guys didn't do the first night really out of exhaustion or because you still can't accept the wedding?” desi asked as if she knew about what happened to Zoya and William.

“Ah, no, Aunty. Liam and I are learning to accept destiny,” Zoya replied with a faint smile even though Desi could not see it.

“Good if that is so. That means you two are old enough to deal with the problems that occur,” Desi replied.

“How's Auntie doing? Is Aunt lonely because there's no me at home?” zoya asked, trying to shift the subject.

The method seems to work because exactly one second after, Desi began to talk about how lonely the house was without Zoya and how she cried all night because she thought of Zoya who was not ready to marry William.

A few hours later, William had just finished his work. It turned out that working at home was not as difficult as he imagined because he could communicate with his secretary to talk about the projects they would work on.

It's wrong that people think a crippled man like William can't continue his life as they are, let alone lead a company. For William, any will will will surely find a way.

After turning off his computer, William smelled his sour body odor. This day she refrained from going to the toilet and taking a shower. He even refrained from urinating. Usually, in the house there are servants who serve every need. However, since there was no servant in this house, William could do nothing.

William somewhat regretted not having brought one of the servants who used to serve his needs. However, he thought that Zoya had to do all the work. But now William can't even do anything because he's a prestige to ask Zoya for help.

He massaged his temple, confused as to what to do. On the one hand he feels prestige if he has to ask Zoya for help. But, on the other hand he could not bear to go to the toilet. Moreover, his current body felt extremely sticky and smelly. The man already felt extremely uncomfortable as his body came into contact with each other.

“Argh! So annoying!” grumbling William.

Despite his prestige, William eventually pushed his wheelchair out of the study. The man was in a daze because he didn't know where Zoya's room was. With her instincts always thinking that Zoya just wants to take advantage of the kindness of her parents, William pushes her wheelchair towards the largest room on the first floor.

William scrunched his forehead to find an empty room. But he did not give up, he also looked for Zoya to another room whose size is not much different from the room but the results are nil.

“Where is the girl's room? Is it possible that she chose to stay in the maid's room?” the only room on the first floor that remained was the maid room located near the kitchen.

William was wondering why Zoya chose to sleep in the maid's room but he thought that maybe Zoya was afraid of misfortune to prepare breakfast for him.

“Zoya!!” william shouted with a thunderous voice as soon as he reached the kitchen.

Zoya who was shocked to hear the scream rushed out of her room. True to William's guess, Zoya comes out of one of the maid's rooms. William longs to ask why Zoya sleeps there but he is reluctant because he does not want Zoya to think that she cares about the girl.

“You from anywhere?” william snapped, his eyes narrowing sharply.

“I was from earlier in the room,” Zoya answered briefly.

Zoya's short answer turned out to make William even more upset with her. The man looked at Zoya with a sharp look while clenching his hand.

“You're really a no-nonsense wife! Have you forgotten that the duty of a wife is to serve her husband? But why do you even sleep while your husband works?” ask William blindly.

Zoya is eager to argue and say that all day he also does tiring homework. But, he then thought again that it would certainly make William angry.

Zoya who did not want to argue then said, “What's up, Mas?”

William was silent for a moment.

“I want to clean myself,” he said after a few seconds of silence.

Zoya who heard that was eager to laugh at William. The cold, arrogant man needs Zoya's help but the prestige to say it. Zoya laughed in her heart as she shook her head. The girl then pushed William's wheelchair into the elevator and went up to the third floor to William's room.
