As it was getting late, Zoya was already pacing the kitchen preparing dinner for herself and Liam. Zoya wants to do something special for both of them, hoping that this way William can calm the anger in her heart. However, Zoya still feels guilty for William, because Zoya never tells her past with Damar

At first, Zoya considers all of this not to be too important to talk about, as their marriage is just an agreement between the two of them. Who would have thought, in the end William invited Zoya to live a family life like other normal couples. Being too happy, Zoya even forgot something as important as this.

Unfortunately, William doesn't give Zoya a chance to explain her past in more detail. William's temperamental behavior has not changed. Zoya cannot overcome Willi's temperament. Because only William can change his own personality. Although Zoya advises Willi, all of it will be in vain, if William himself has no desire to change his bad personality.

However, as bad as William is, Zoya must have accepted all of William's flaws. Because they marry not to seek perfection, but want to complement each other in their lives. Zoya wishes William had the same wish as Zoya. In order to have a happy marriage, the two of them have to work together. This marriage will not work if Zoya wants to keep it herself.

After finishing preparing dinner, Zoya chose to wait for William as usual. Zoya intends to surprise William today. Because Zoya didn't tell William that she'd be back today. Zoya wishes William a pleasure to see her presence.

William continued to read the documents one by one, even though all the reports had been audited and neatly arranged, William still wanted to check the company documents one by one. Only in this way, William was able to get out of the trouble that had been going on for quite some time. William certainly would not let someone destroy all his hard work during this time.

So even though the way William used was very tiring, William was satisfied when he could read each report one by one. At almost midnight, William had just returned home. William is feeling very tired at this time, when he just opened the door and entered the house, William was surprised by the presence of Zoya who smiled to welcome his return.

"Mas, you're finally home too. I know you must be feeling very tired right now, do you want me to prepare the bath water?" zoya asks William, who looks very lethargic after returning from work.

“Do you finally remember the way home? I thought you'd stay longer in your gallery, because there's someone waiting for you there. You must feel very happy because there is a man who always loves you. So you forget your statuette." William responded to Zoya's question with a very brief comment. Because William still can not eliminate his frustration when he saw Zoya with Damar.

“Mas, why are you talking to me like that? You draw conclusions based on your own thinking. Why don't you give me a chance to explain everything? Are you happy with all your thoughts? Or do you really not want me back? Is that why you talk like that?" Zoya did not expect William would say such a bad thing to her.

“Mas, listen to my explanation first, before you jump to conclusions about the relationship between me and Damar. I explained a little about him. We were just friends, Damar and I have never been in a relationship more than friendship. Damar was the closest guy to me before, I swear I never had anything to do but befriend him.” Zoya tries to explain.

"Are you sure it has nothing to do with him? Almost everyone there knows how close you and he are. They even said that you and he were almost married. Is this what we call friendship? Don't try to trick me, Zoya. Because I'm not a kid whose foam you trick easily." William still remembers everything Leila said, regarding rumors circulating about Zoya and Damar's relationship.

“All the rumors circulating are not true. Damar and I never showed affection in public, because until now I only considered him as my best friend. I don't know where you heard all this news either. I can only tell you that nothing is true. I swear I didn't lie to you at all. Damar and I don't really have a relationship. Please believe me," Zoya begged William.

“Currently, it does not matter whether the rumors are true or not. Because I can see with my own eyes how close you are to that man. You've been saying his name ever since. Are you deliberately provoking my anger? You should understand that I care about you, but why do you return my worries by ignoring me like that? What if I did that to you? Don't you also feel hurt if I ignore you, Zoya?" Willi expresses all the resentment in his heart to Zoya.

“I know what I did was a big mistake. But please believe me, William. I had no intention of ignoring you at that moment, when you contacted me, I was actually preparing something for you. Not long after, Damar came to visit me. Of course, as people who have known each other for a long time, I must welcome him well. But that doesn't mean I have feelings for her. So all this was not done intentionally. Can you understand my condition at that time?" Zoya knew that what she was doing was a big mistake. Fear should not make Zoya avoid William.

William is trying to control his emotions at the moment. William shouldn't be too harsh with Zoya as this attitude of hers only worsens the relationship between her and Zoya. William also did not want to fight too much with Zoya. William looks into Zoya's eyes trying to find lies in both of Zoya's beautiful eyes. When William realizes that Zoya is telling the truth, the anger William felt earlier begins to fade from his heart. William tried to catch his breath, giving himself time to let out his emotions.

Controlling himself, William says what he wants to say to Zoya. “OK, I will forgive you this time. I will believe everything you say. But I hope you don't make the same mistake again, Zoya. Because you also know that I don't like being ignored. I was afraid something bad would happen to you, so I kept in touch. If this happens again, I won't forgive you so easily."

“I understand, I won't let you down again. Forgive me for not being able to understand your feelings well. I was just thinking about having a birthday surprise for you. I didn't think my attitude would really make you misunderstand me. I'll try to keep your feelings better."

"I'm sorry if I'm late. Happy birthday, Mommy. I always pray for the best for you, of course, for our wedding" Zoya said.

"Thank you, I'll rest now. There are a lot of work in the office these days, plus there is a bit of a problem. So I can't go home early. Sorry for not telling you before." William again feels guilty for Zoya when he remembers his meeting with Renata.

"Don't feel that way, I can understand you because I'm your wife" Zoya said, piercing through William's heart.
