The Pledge of the Ingkar
IYI 35'S

Pain rages in Zoya's mind. The girl's eyes heat up when she stares at the friendly photo between William and a beautiful woman he believes is Renata. Even though Zoya does not love William or just has feelings for William, her heart still hurts when she sees the photo.

Whose heart would not be hurt if she had to see a picture of her husband's intimacy with another woman plastered before her eyes, more precisely welcoming her arrival in the house that should be heaven for her. As a wife, Zoya must have been hurt by this. Moreover, William had been sweet to him even though it was less than ten minutes.

Zoya's hand is detached from the push of the wheelchair. His body instantly suffocated when he realized this house would be the most painful place for him. Marrying William alone was already painful for Zoya, especially if he had to see photos of William's intimacy with Renata all the time because apparently William also displayed some other photos with medium size in the corners of the house.

‘Yes God, do I really have to stay in this house?’ ask Zoya in my heart.

Zoya took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down so as not to get carried away by emotions. Tears had blocked her eyes, but Zoya tried her best not to cry in front of William. Zoya tries to be calm because Zoya is not a girl who can be bullied just like that. He tries to think positively that William is still displaying Renata's photo because William still loves Renata, not because William deliberately wants to hurt Zoya.

‘It looks like the girl is indeed very special for Liam, ' Zoya said in her heart while smiling wryly.

Even though Zoya had tried to think positively, bad thoughts lingered in her head. He believes a thousand percent if the next life will not be fine because since the beginning of William's marriage has shown it.

“Did no one else live in this house, Mas?” ask Zoya. At least if there were servants in this house, Zoya would not feel lonely. That's what's on Zoya's mind right now. It doesn't matter if Zoya has to be friends with a waitress, the important thing is that she won't be lonely in a house this big.

“Nothing,” replied William, making Zoya's wish to have a friend disappear instantly. “Sopir will only come if I call him. So, we will stay alone in this house,” continued William.

If other couples will feel happy if they only live alone with each other to maintain their privacy, it is not felt by Zoya at all. She was sad to learn that she would be living with William.

“T-but, Mas. Me ...”

“Do not expect there will be servants in this house because doing homework and serving the husband is the duty of a wife,” said William firmly, full of emphasis, and, then pushed his wheelchair towards his room on the third floor.

Ah no, no. William can't climb the stairs. But, in the past when the construction of the house Renata did ask that this house be built an elevator. Fortunately William complied with Renata's request so now he could go to his room without the need for dizziness.

Zoya is in her place. He was confused about what to do because William's house was very grand and large. William doesn't even tell Zoya where Zoya's room is.

Inside the elevator, William smiled obliquely as he thought he would be able to start tormenting Zoya now. He even left Zoya without saying anything more.

In fact, Zoya who is not easily oppressed is not too confusing what William did because according to Zoya William's actions are very reasonable considering William does not love him at all. William may still be in a reluctant stage to interact with Zoya.

Zoya pulls her suitcase into the house, then closes the door. The girl dragged her suitcase to the right and to the left to look for a room on the ground floor that she could occupy. Zoya doesn't care about William's behavior leaving her. Zoya is an independent girl, she can find her own room.

“Ah, I can finally rest after a full day of activity. My body feels sore all,” said Zoya while sitting on the edge of the bed.

The girl swiftly took out the contents of her suitcase and moved her belongings into the closet. Not to forget he also took a picture frame and put it on the nightstand. This room will be his room from now on so he should feel comfortable here.

Zoya also puts other trinkets such as wall hangings and accessories on the table which from now on will be her dressing table. That night Zoya also made the room as comfortable as possible so that she did not miss her room in the house.

After finishing with the event in order, Zoya goes to the bathroom to clean herself up. After taking a shower, she changed her clothes and sat in the middle of her bed.

“How's Aunt Desi doing? Does he feel sad because now he will stay alone at home?” ask Zoya.

Zoya called Desi. No need to wait long finally Desi raised her call.

“Halo, Aunty?” greet Zoya.

“Zoya, are you okay? Aunty worried and could not sleep from earlier,” said Desi.

Zoya chuckles amusedly. “I'm fine, Aunty,” Zoya replied.

“Did Liam treat you well?” ask Desi. He is worried that William will treat Zoya badly despite the news from Wulan that William and Zoya seem to be doing well and interacting with each other.

“Iya, Aunt. Aunty don't have to worry,” Zoya replied, lying. Zoya could not possibly talk about what William did to Desi. They just got married a few hours ago. Zoya thinks that what William did was simply because William could not accept their marriage.

“Zoya, if Liam treats you badly you can tell Auntie. Aunty will always be a loyal listener for you,” Desi said.

Zoya smiled faintly. He felt moved because there were still people who cared about him and loved him. He is happy because Desi's attention never wears off on him even though Zoya is sometimes quite troublesome.

“Auntie, I hung up first. We chat tomorrow again,” said Zoya.

“Abibi understands. The newlyweds did have to spend the first night together,” Desi said and hung up her phone.

‘If only what Bibi said had really happened, ' Zoya muttered in her heart.
