The Pledge of the Ingkar
IYI 37'S

After berating Zoya's cooking, William walks into her study on the first floor, grumbling. From a distance Zoya peeks at him because she is curious where William will go after nagging him. As soon as William's back disappeared behind the door, Zoya flicked her shoulders and went back to eating her breakfast.

The girl did not think much about William's words as long as she felt that his cooking was still good and edible. Zoya isn't a five-star restaurant chef, so she won't take a dizzy with William's scathing remarks.

Meanwhile, William who was in front of his desk checked his e-mail. Finding that no reports or work had come in, William grabbed his phone from his pants pocket. He then searched his father's name in contact and called his father.

“Halo, Liam? What's calling this early in the morning?” ryan asked, frowning.

“Papa, I'll start working from home. So, Papa can send my work by e-mail. I'll do it from home. For meetings I will also do it from home,” explained William.

Across the street, Ryan's smile was perfect. He felt that marrying William to Zoya made his son eager to come back to life. I don't know what Zoya did that made William eager to return to work. Ryan will be very grateful to Zoya for everything she does.

“Alright, later I will send you jobs,” Ryan said. Although surprised by William's decision that impressed suddenly, he still agreed. “But ...”

“But what, Pa?” ask William.

“But, if you still want to spend time for your honeymoon Papa also does not matter. You guys just got married so you deserve to have some alone time without anyone bothering you,” Ryan said. Although she does not expect the presence of a granddaughter in the near future, the honeymoon can bring Zoya and William's relationship closer so she recommends it to William.

“I and Zoya are alone here, Pa. We can spend more time together without the distraction of others. We can always make out every day,” to William.

Ryan chuckled small. He was not at all suspicious of William's reasoning because yesterday he saw with his own eyes that William was being sweet to Zoya.

“Alright, alright. I agree that you want to get back to work,” Ryan replied in the end.

“Thank you, Pa. I will wait for news of my work as soon as possible,” William said, then turn off the phone unilaterally.

Wulan, who heard her husband talking to William over the phone, enthusiastically asked Ryan what William had said.

“What did Liam say, Pa?” ask Wulan.

“Liam says he's going back to work, Ma. He will work from home,” replied Ryan.

“Papa didn't tell him to honeymoon first with Zoya?” ask Wulan again. For them, newly married couples are required to have a honeymoon. Not only so that they quickly have offspring, but the honeymoon can tighten the rope of their marriage.

“I told him to honeymoon first. But, he refused on the grounds that they live alone in the house so they can make out every day,” explained Ryan, according to William earlier.

Wulan chuckled amusedly. He did not expect that William who was in front of them always showed that he did not like Zoya was actually being sweet with Zoya. Even that guy wants to have a romp with Zoya. It seemed William was just embarrassed to show it in front of others.

Ryan turned his shoulders. “Entahlah. But it could be, Ma,” he replied.

On the other hand, William felt hungry after calling his father. His stomach was still hungry because he had just eaten a little. William admitted that Zoya's cooking does taste good, an unusual thing for him because he likes foreign cuisine. William is starving, but he feels the prestige of having to eat Zoya's cooking. He eventually decided to order food.

Meanwhile, Zoya who had prepared her heart from the beginning so as not to be hurt by William's treatment spent her food quietly. He was eating food while humming a little. It doesn't matter if William says his cooking isn't good. According to Zoya, William was just looking for an excuse to scold her.

“You want me to eat what's left?” said Zoya lirih. There was still a whole dish on the dining table that had not been touched at all. “Ah I give to passers-by only,” he said again.

Zoya puts the food in a box, intending to give it to someone who might pass in front of William's house. After she finished putting the food in the box, Zoya came out of the house and stood in front of the gate waiting for someone to pass.

Shortly after, a courier came with a food box. Zoya frowned. He was amused by William's behavior which was prestige to eat his cooking.

“Excuse me, Miss. Is this really the home of William Sadjaja?” ask the courier.

“Iya, right. Is that the food of his order?” ask Zoya.

The courier nodded. “Iya, Miss,” answered.

“Can I see what food she ordered?” tanyakanya. “Don't worry he's my husband but we're having a little fight so he's got the prestige of eating my cooking,” he explained so that the courier doesn't suspect anything.

“Could you please,” answered the courier and opened the food ordered by William. Zoya was amused when she saw William's ordered food was the same as the menu she had cooked earlier.

“Pak, food for you. The food is the same as my cooking. I'll give my cooking to my husband. But don't tell me I changed the order,” Zoya said.

The courier smiled widely. He felt happy because he got a windfall in the morning. Already getting an order and given many tips, he also got free food.

“Good, I won't say that the food was changed. Then excuse me first,” said the courier then rushed away.

Zoya went back inside the house with a slanted smile. He went to William's office. He was wondering if he should go in or put William's food on the table next to the door. But out of heart, she ends up arranging William's food on the dining room table.

Zoya knocked on William's office door, then said, “Mas, the food you ordered I arranged on the dinner table,” he said and left.

Inside the study, William grumbled because he couldn't bully Zoya at all. Zoya even seemed to have no problem with her cold attitude.
