Chapters 137. Remembering the past

The man refuses firmly Julia to come with him to Jarvara island. Who he was and why he had to go with him on the King's visit.

"Who are you and why do you have to come with me?!"

Duke Norton handed Max a piece of paper. Max opens it, with the Queen's stamp requiring Julia to come with Max to Jarvara Island as a companion.

"God! What'sthis?" muttered the man snorting in annoyance.

"Your highness, this is the mandate of her noble queen mother. You should take Julia because Julia is a noble concubine. The concubine who had been approved by His Majesty's mother as the noble spouse of the King."

How dare that witch set me up like this.

In order to avoid trouble, Max finally agrees to have Julia come with him. He swears to her that he will get rid of Julia forever after his visit to Gallahan's kingdom.

"Okay, you can come. But on condition, you mustn't mess with me nor remain obediently silent." Said the man while staring intently at Julia.

Julia looks happy because in the end she will come with Max to the island. Julia gets on the train, while Max doesn't want to get on the train because there's Julia in there. He would rather ride a horse alone.

Max and his entourage eventually head to Jarvara Island. Duke Geraldine also took part in the journey to escort the King. Duke Geraldine looked uneasy, not knowing what she was thinking at the time.

Meanwhile on Jarvara Island, Liliana's house.

Andreas brought a letter to Liliana coming from the kingdom of Istvan, it was from his father.

"This is from my father? Is true?" liliana asked as she raised her head, she held onto the letter.

"Yes, miss" Andreas replied confirming.

"Yes, you go and sort out some documents on my desk. We have a meeting this afternoon with trade union representatives from Lottier."

"Yes, miss."

Andreas goes to another room in the house, while Liliana starts to open her letter. He reads the letter carefully, saying that Max and his entourage will arrive on Jarvara island the next day. Liliana's hands trembled violently as she read the letter, she did not expect that Max would actually come to the island.

"How's this? How about we meet?" Liliana looks agitated. He's been thinking about where he's going to hide from Max. She wasn't ready to meet the baby's father. "I don't want to meet him! Moreover, I said in this letter that Miss Julia was with him. I don't want to see her with another woman, my heart is still not strong enough to hold her."

That afternoon Liliana went outside from her house which was not far from the beach. He left a message to Andreas and a servant who worked for him, so that they would keep the house.

"Mr Andreas, you take it easy.I'm not going alone. Mr. Aiden is with me too."

"Why did the lady go with a man who was not known clearly what his origin was?" Andreas feels anxious because the figures of Aiden and Dorman are still mysterious to him.

"Can pregnant women eat ice cream?"

"May, just don't do much." replied Liliana with a faint smile.

Oh my God, look at that smile. This is the first time he has smiled at me. Since I met her, this is the first time I've seen her smile. She has a cute side too even though she is a sassy person.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Oh yeah, what do you like to taste?"

"Brown."

Hem, so he likes chocolate. Aiden smiled faintly.

Without asking much more, Aiden went to find an ice cream merchant that he himself did not know where. He only heard it from Dorman about the good ice cream.

Meanwhile, Liliana was near the park while sitting there. He watched the people around him, couples who were making love and spending their vacation time in that beautiful place.

Garden atmosphere, breeze blowing, sunny day. Support couples for dating. Looking at the couple, she recalled her good times with Max. The memories of Max are still there, a fate he thought would not go well if passed on. Their relationship was too much of a barrier.
