Chapter 5. Adaire's Letter

After the arrogant woman and her servants left from there, everyone's attention was on Liliana and the fat maid.

"Is madam okay? Is anyone hurt?" Liliana asked as she watched the fat maid from top to bottom.

Geordo and Lizzy were astonished at Liliana's request. But as Geordo promised, he would grant Liliana's wish. Liliana finally worked at a small restaurant in the remote countryside, although she had never worked hard before, Liliana was able to do her job well and was adaptable in that place.

In order to earn enough money to go to his residence first, he had to work hard. Geordo and Lizzy were also happy with Liliana's presence there, because the presence of the beautiful girl made the restaurant crowded by visitors, especially male customers.

That afternoon restaurant visitors were crowded. Liliana and Lizzy are busy serving customers who come from all over the world.

Liliana said goodbye to Geordo and Lizzy with a heavy heart. He said that he would travel to the city, also looking for his friend named Adaire. Liliana makes a fake letter written by her other self, aka Adaire.

The beautiful girl boarded a ship carrying a fake letter of her own. "Adara will definitely oppose my existence and this letter, once I get there I have to convince them that I am Adaire's best friend. And this letter must also have my stamp, so that no one will oppose my existence there! All right, my revenge is coming!" Liliana muttered with her sly smile.

After a 2-day journey, Liliana arrived at her birthplace. A city close to the royal palace of Istvan, the city where he grew up. His heart was sad to see the city, he remembered the many painful memories there. Her memories as Adaire, the ugly fat girl who always bullied people.

The horse-drawn carriage caused Liliana and the boy to fall into the street. Someone got out of the horse carriage and approached Liliana.

"Hey! You want ma-"The man will curse Liliana and the boy in his arms. However, he stopped when he saw Liliana's face. The man was Arsen, Liliana was flabbergasted to see her killer right in plain sight.

Arsen, what a coincidence. Secretly the beautiful woman hid her sneaky smile.

Real pretty. Where's the angel from?

"Miss, are you okay?" asked Arsen while putting on his soft and pretentious look.

"I'm fine sir," Liliana showed a clear look that could make Arsen pity.

Arsen, do you like this glazed look? Look, I'm gonna make you fall in love with me and then I'm gonna leave you cruelly.

Arsen increasingly admired the kind and beautiful Liliana. He also invited the woman to get acquainted politely, even to invite her to chat. Until the conversation discussed Adaire, the figure of his wife who was dead.

Arsen was surprised that Liliana found out about Adaire, she asked who Liliana really was. "I'm a friend of Adaire's, I'm here to meet Adaire" Liliana said.

Without asking any better, Arsen brought Liliana to the Geraldine family home. There Arsen was greeted by Adara warmly. Adara's smile disappears when she sees the figure of the woman who got off her husband's carriage.

"My husband, are you home?" Adara smiled welcoming her husband who just got off the train. Adara instantly lost her smile as soon as she saw her husband reaching out to help Liliana get off the carriage.

My husband's? Not long since my death and you've been husband and wife?. Liliana held back her anger, hurt and she tried to smile as calmly as possible in front of her two enemies.

Arsen introduces Liliana as Adaire's friend. Adara did not believe that Liliana was a friend of her sister, she immediately kicked Liliana out violently.

"My brother doesn't have a beggar friend like you, get out of here!" Adara drives Liliana away, as if the girl is a threat.

Why does this beggar have such a beautiful face?

Arsen tried to calm his wife, "Adara! She is Adaire's friend, I've confirmed her! He carried a letter with Adaire's handwriting!" Arsen whispered to his wife.

Liliana enters Geraldine's mansion, her own home when she becomes Adaire. His heart was sad and longed, for two weeks he had left the house. He saw Daisy, his loyal servant who was still there.

Daisy, are you still here? Why are you staying there Daisy?

Liliana saw Daisy leaning against the door of Adaire's room with her sad face and blank look. "Daisy! Take this woman to the living room, don't let her go anywhere before my father comes!" Adara said firmly to Daisy.

"Well miss," Daisy replied by bowing half her body in front of Adara. He doesn't look excited.

Daisy escorts Liliana into the living room. Liliana immediately racked her brain to retrieve Adaire's stamp without being discovered as proof of the validity of the letter she was carrying. Liliana asks Daisy to get him a drink, while Daisy gets him a drink. Liliana went inside her room, she opened the ground in a flower pot. Where he hid the stamp. Liliana is happy because Adara doesn't know where she keeps her stamp.

Hurriedly he stamped the letter he carried with Adaire's stamp, then he returned to the living room. Shortly after, Duke Geraldine came to her with Adara.

Dad it's me. It's me Adaire. Liliana was sad in her heart, she missed her father.

"You said you knew my daughter? I knew all along that my daughter had no close friends" Duke Geraldine stared intently at the beautiful woman in front of her.

"I'm his pen pal Mr. Duke, I'm sorry if my arrival bothered you and your family. I just wanted to meet Adaire and congratulate her on her marriage. Because from the last letter I read, Miss Adaire is married, I came here to give her a gift" Liliana explained as she opened the parcel in her pouch.

Duke Geraldine suddenly cried hearing Liliana's explanation of Adaire. Moreover, when he saw the parcel Liliana had brought. A pair of large sleeping shoes.

"Daisy, from now on you will be Miss Liliana's personal servant! Ask the other waiter to prepare his room!" Tell Duke to Daisy.

Adara looks unhappy with the Duke's decision, she feels threatened by Liliana's presence. Even more so when he saw Arsen staring at the beautiful girl.
