Chapters 80. Good bye Arsen

Max reluctantly gives Arsen's last request to meet Liliana. But he finally agreed because Liliana also wanted to talk to Arsen.

"You seriously want to talk to that son of a bitch?" ask Max.

"Yes, I want to talk to her, your majesty." Liliana was sure.

"Why do you want to talk to her, don't you like her?" max asks suspicious that Liliana aka Adaire still has feelings for her ex-husband.

"Because I am Adaire" replied Liliana who finally revealed her identity to Max

"What's? Whatchu mean?" max asked pretending not to know what Liliana meant. From the beginning, she knew that Liliana was Adaire. But he pretended to be shocked as if he didn't know anything.

"I am Adaire, my soul is in this body. I am that ugly fat woman, your majesty." Liliana said as she lowered her head. Suddenly he lost his confidence, when he remembered his former figure.

Yes, I have to reveal everything. Now that I and his highness the crown prince are in a relationship, so I don't want to hide anything from him.

Max smiled faintly, he knew how heavy Liliana's heart was as she revealed her true identity. But Max was so happy because it meant Liliana trusted him so much to say about him.

Max recalled and he said every word little Adaire ever told him. Liliana was astonished to hear Max's remark that brought her back to mind when she met the red-eyed, dirty-faced little boy, the boy crying under the tree.

"Your majesty! Can I come in?" eugene said in a hurry from the front door.

"What's wrong? Just tell me there!" Max said firmly.

"I just want to inform you that the execution of the Count of Wales will be carried out immediately."

"Your Majesty, please let me talk to him for a moment!" Pinta Liliana on Max.

"Okay, this is for the last time." Max gave me permission.

Arsen entered the room, with both hands tied. He was with Liliana there. It was because Arsen wanted to talk to Liliana in private.

"What do you want to tell me, Arsen?" ask Liliana lazy.

"I know this is shameless. But, I want to ask you something." Arsen said with a clear face.

"What?"

"This is the last request of the one who will leave this world for good. I need you to take care of Adara and the child in her womb,"

Liliana was stunned to hear the man's request to her. He thought that his request was not serious, but his face showed that he was sincere in asking for it.

"Adara and the child in her womb are innocent, I beg you to take care of them. That's all I asked "he said with a bitter smile, death is only a few minutes away from picking him up.

"You're so shameless," Liliana sighed cynically.

It turns out you love each other. But I'm not hurt, because I have someone I love and love me too.

Liliana and Duke Geraldine were among the crowd to witness the Count's execution.

Arsen is in the midst of society today. From up there he saw Liliana looking at him. Arsen smiled with tears flowing down his cheeks.

In his last moments he remembered his memories of Adaire. Where the man always hurt his wife.

"Do, now!" max told the executioner.

Arsen was crying, as he was about to close his eyes. He saw Adara running towards him. "Arsen! Arsenic!!" yelled Adara while crying. Behind Adara there are palace soldiers chasing after him. "I want to see my husband!" adara said to the palace soldiers who were chasing him.

Before the head was cut off, Arsen smiled at his wife. And shortly after that the truncheon was dropped. Arsen's head and body were separated. The bloody head rolled to the ground.

Adara was heartbroken to see her husband die in such a horrible way. Even Liliana also did not dare to look at Arsen when the man was beheaded. Though he should be happy to see the man who has repeatedly hurt him is not in a sadistic way. However, Liliana still had a heart.

Good bye Arsen. Hope you calm down in there. Liliana said in her heart.

"NO! Arsen..my husband!! hiks .. huuuhhh. huhuu.." Adara cried bitterly to see her husband die before her with his head cut off. Adara wasn't crying anymore, but she was hysterical to the ground.

Heavy rain flushed the land of Istvan, soaking the ground there. All the people who saw the execution went from there. Except for Liliana, Adara and some of the royal soldiers who escort Adara.

Liliana let the rain fall on her, until her whole body was wet. So is Adara, who is grieving the loss of her husband and baby's father.

"Stand up, you can't die! There is a person who lives in your stomach" Liliana said as she extended her hand to Adara.

Adara looked at Liliana hatefully, she brushed off Liliana's outstretched hand to help her.

"Nadara!"

"It's all because of you, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have lost my son's husband and father, you're a real demon.." Adara spilled all her anger on Liliana.

"I think you really need some alone time. I hope this incident can make you realize, that there will be karma in every evil action that humans do," Liliana said firmly mercilessly to Adara. Although in her heart Liliana pity Adara and the child in her womb.

"Silence you rotten woman!" Adara scolds Liliana and pushes the girl to a dirty and muddy ground because of the rain.

"Guards, take this woman back to jail!" Max told the palace soldiers. Max helps Liliana stand up.

"Oh, your honor!"

They all obey and drag Adara to return to the palace dungeon. "Liliana.you'll get your karma! You'll get it!" Shouted Adara Cussing Liliana.

Liliana was speechless with a sad face seeing Adara like that. Max was next to her with an angry face. He uses the umbrella given by Eugene to protect Liliana.

"Do you want me to kill him? Tortured her?" max says offer.

"No,"

"Aren't you angry?"

"No, I just pity. Turns out he hasn't changed, or maybe he'll never change." Liliana saw Adara who had not yet repented.

"It's like she won't repent as much as you think" Max said, holding Liliana's cold hand.

From a distance, Julia and the other crown princess see the closeness of Max and Liliana. They were also there to see Arsen beheading.

"Curtain! How can we win the crown princess fair? Nothing is nepotism!" said Arina sarcasm, she was not happy to see Liliana and Max close together. He felt envious.

"You're right, Miss Arina. Is it clear who is the winner here?" said Keira while looking at Liliana cynically.

"You guys don't like that, it's Miss Liliana's fault that the crown prince likes her?" shopia asked with her innocent face.

"Miss Shopia, don't interfere if you don't know anything!" miss Arina said annoyed at the innocent lady.

Amongst all the ladies there, Julia was the most envious and spiteful to see Liliana and Max together.

Why are they getting so close? No, I should be the crown princess. I should be the next Queen.

Julia desperately goes out in the rain, she approaches Liliana and Max. The three shady ladies looked at Julia in astonishment. Julia was raining and she suddenly stood in the middle of Max and Liliana. "Sorry your honor, I am also forestry. May I take shelter in this umbrella with your majesty?"

Julia looked at Max with a glare, she thought as if Liliana wasn't there and just asked Max.

"Oh, you want the umbrella? Go ahead" Max said, handing the umbrella to Julia.

"Is this really for me, your majesty?" Julia took the umbrella, she smiled happily.

No, I had expected that no one could hold back my charm.

"Yes take it. Lily, is it okay if we walk there using this?" max said with a smile and took off his suit with water repellent. He covered Liliana with his suit.

"No matter what noble," Liliana replied with a smile.

"W-what?" Julia gaped at Max's speech and attitude towards Liliana.

Those two lovebirds left Julia alone there with their umbrellas in the rain. It made the three ladies laugh to see him.
