Chapter 9. Adaire is dead
The man was still sitting on a tree with a henchman, not even he was caught by the guards in the mansion. He noticed Liliana who was still sitting alone by the fountain. Liliana who tried her hardest to hold back tears.
"What did you experience in the past, why are you trying to look strong? This makes me even more curious about you" muttered Max with a mask on his face. "By the way, the bodyguards in this mansion no one is aware of my whereabouts. Wasn't Duke Geraldine the greatest imperial knight? His home defense period was this bad? Even they fell asleep with just a little bit of magic that I used," Max murmured in surprise.
There are so many beautiful women out there, but Max is curious about Liliana. What is Liliana's relationship with Adaire? Why does Liliana seem to dislike Adaire's half-brother and her husband?
When Liliana was about to return to the mansion, she felt that there was someone on the tree. Somehow he became very sensitive after being reborn."Whoareyou? Come outside!" Liliana yelled at someone on the tree.
Max immediately came down from the tree, he smiled and greeted Liliana. "Hi, do you miss me?" max asked with a smile of his cassanova.
"You? Why are you here? Are you following me?" Liliana was surprised that the man she met at the prostitution site was at her house.
"I'm here because you called my name and because you miss me" said the man confidently.
"Well! Missed you? Why is there such a confident guy like you? Who said I miss you?" liliana asked with her cynical smile.
"Say me. I feel like you miss me, just tell me you want to see me," Max said with a smile as he walked over to Liliana.
"Are you crazy?" Liliana stared intently at the man. "Huh, I don't want to talk to you. You better get out of here before the guards in this house find you," Liliana tells Max to get out of the house.
Looking at the clothes this narcissistic man was wearing, like he was a robber.
Somehow Max looks disappointed because Liliana ignored him. If other women see her, they will immediately bend their knees and race to tease her. But, Liliana was not like those women who chased after her.
"Hey hey don't go yet! Don't you want to know who I am?" Max walked behind the girl.
"It doesn't matter!" Liliana cuek and kept going without caring about Max.
I can't believe I was rejected!. Max frowned.
"You need to know who I am, because we'll see each other again!"
"What do you want? Why do we have to meet again?" liliana asked who finally responded to Max, because she was tired of the man following her.
"Is there any reason why I should see you?" ask Max wonder. Because as long as he stayed in the palace and his position as crown prince, he had the right to meet anyone for no reason also under any circumstances. There doesn't have to be an underlying reason when she has to meet someone.
"If there's no interest, why meet?" liliana asked, cold and cold.
"What's that?" max asked with a confused face.
Could it be that ordinary people are like that? Must there be a reason to meet?
The girl only sighed while stepping away with a lazy face. He doesn't want to see Max around him anymore.
"Where are you going?"

Liliana was confused by the man she had met twice. He even forgot to ask her what her name was or where she lived?

2 Weeks had passed since Liliana lived in that house. The Duke will soon make him a member of the family.
One by one the servants who worked under Adara, successfully removed by Liliana. Only one loyal servant was left, he deliberately left the servant to torture him. He remembered that Adara's loyal servant repeatedly made him difficult as he lived as Adaire, suppressing her subtly. At that time Adaire did not know that she was being bullied. That morning everyone gathered in the dining room, including Liliana. "You've come Lily?" greet Duke Geraldine with a friendly face.
"I'm sorry to be a little late, Mr. Duke," Liliana said as she lowered her head politely.
Why is dad so kind to the owner of this body? But to me Dad always acts cold? Are you ashamed of me?. Liliana was sad because she remembered that her father had always been cold, whereas to Liliana, she was kind and friendly.
"It's okay, let's sit down. There's something I want to talk to you about" Duke Geraldine said kindly.
Liliana sat in a chair opposite Adara's seat. The woman stared cynically at Liliana and as usual, Liliana always smiled ridiculing her.
Really shit! Can-can he get rid of all my accomplices, who's really in vain? Why would he want to take everything from me?
Adara looked at Liliana hatefully. Arsen saw his wife, he was surprised because Adara who he first knew was a beautiful and patient girl.

After finishing breakfast, Duke says that he will soon have a party to introduce Liliana as a member of the Geraldine family. Adara already knew about it, but she could do nothing against her father's decision.
"My Duke refused your request" Liliana said, declining the request.
"Give me the reason, why?" duke Geraldine asked firmly.
"I have no right and no right to get all this, I am just Adaire's late pen pal," Liliana lowered her head politely. He did not expect Duke Geraldine to raise him to be a child just because he was a close friend of his daughter.
"You can't resist it, because you're Adaire's only friend. I want to treat my friend well,"
"That's right, Miss Liliana please don't reject my father's good intentions. My sister must be happy that you are here and part of our family" Adara smiled sweetly. In his heart he cursed the woman.
"I beg you to accept this," Duke Geraldine looked at Liliana with teary eyes.
Adaire my son, this is all I can do for you. May you forgive all of my mistakes. I'll make amends for all my mistakes with this friend you love so much.
Liliana accepts Duke Geraldine's request to be her daughter. Duke Geraldine immediately orders Adara to have him take care of the party for Liliana. Although lazy, Adara nodded in agreement and obeyed his father's orders.
