Chapter 58. Party (2)

The King and Queen walked to the center of the palace hall, all the guests instantly paying their respects to the royal couple. However, the crown prince had not been seen there yet.

"Why are there only kings and queens? Though I was curious about the figure of the crown prince, he has helped me a lot behind the scenes. Until he found my body," Liliana muttered hoping to see the crown prince who had always helped her.

Why didn't you show up?

Laura was astonished, she was looking for Max everywhere. But he wasn't there. There are only Kings and Queens walking to their thrones.

"Your highness, where is the crown prince?" whispered the Queen to the King.

"He said he said he had a stomachache" the King replied in a whisper.

"What's? Stomach pains? What kind of reason is that? Then will he come or not, this will be a feast for his majesty?" asked Queen Freya while grunting in annoyance.

"He's coming, because this is the party. You calm down my queen." said King Alberto to appease queen Freya

"Yes well, your majesty" said Queen Freya with a sigh.

If she doesn't come, how can I announce her engagement to the girl I chose. Then why hasn't the crown prince of Lostier kingdom come yet?

The King and Queen gave their greetings to the guests present. While waiting for the crown prince to come, all the nobles were seen enjoying the banquet there.

Laura took advantage of the situation to apologize to Liliana because she had already lied about her status. "Miss Lily, I'm sorry I kept my identity a secret. I didn't mean to lie, I just wanted to have friends,"

"Help your majesty don't apologize to me like this. I'm the one who should apologize because I've been presumptuous to the princess, before." Liliana apologized, she lowered her head before Laura politely.

"No! Not Miss Liliana was wrong, but me! I'm the one who lied to you, please don't apologize!" said Laura felt bad to see Liliana looking down in front of her.

I knew it would be like this if I revealed my identity. Am I going to lose another friend? I don't even have any friends.

"But your highness..." Liliana looked at the sad look on Laura's face. She was pitying to see Laura who showed a lonely look like she used to.

"Miss Lily must be mad at me, right? I lied because I wanted to have friends, but it turns out my lies made me lose friends again. Everyone was avoiding me because I was a princess" Laura said with a sad look, her face parched.

At first I thought the princess was a sharp figure like Queen Freya. But, she was very different from the Queen.she looked kind and innocent. Why does seeing him remind me of the past? I used to have no friends and everyone stayed away from me because I was fat ugly.

"I won't do that, your majesty, I won't stay away from your majesty!" Liliana was full of confidence.

"What's? Did ya? Does this mean you still want to be friends with me?" Laura's eyes twinkled, she held Liliana's hand.

Liliana smiled and nodded her head in approval. She also forgave Laura who had already lied about her identity. "Thank you for being my friend!" Laura is happy.

"Yes, my majesty" replied Liliana.

Laura held the girl's hand with a happy smile. "Miss Liliana wasn't mad at me at all. He was just shocked, but how would he react to big brother?"

"Miss Lily, let's eat and drink first. Come on, you like sweet things, don't you?" Laura invites her only friend to eat together.

"All right, your majesty,"

Where is Eugene, by the way? Why is he visible? Is he with the crown prince?

Liliana looked around looking for Max.

Max wasn't as upset stomach as he said. But she is helping Laura to call off her engagement to crown prince Lostier. Max, Eugene, Adrian and Blackey blockaded the way for the crown prince of Lostier.

"Eugene, it seems you're very excited today. Are you really looking forward to this moment?" max asked Eugene who was standing on the tree.

"What do you mean, your highness?" eugene asked, preparing to head off the road for the crown prince of Lostier's entourage.

"Her Majesty, the chairman looks like a jealous man" Adrian answered.

Eugene remained silent not answering. Upon hearing that Max was going to help Laura stop the proposal, Eugene was the one who was the most excited to stand at the forefront.

"Basic chief, it's cold!" adrian grumbled to look at Eugene who did not answer.

When the Lottier royal entourage arrives, Max and his subordinates confront them as if they were going to be street robbers. After fighting for a few minutes with Max, the Lottier royal entourage and also his crown son turned around.

"Your majesty everything is done" Eugene said with a faint smile.

Thank goodness the princess was not engaged to the man.

"Right, you're happy too, right? The princess wasn't proposed to by the cowardly crown prince?" max asked while looking at Eugene's countenance which showed satisfaction.

"I don't!" Eugene denies.

"The chief's face has explained everything" Adrian teases Eugene.

Eugene glanced cynically at Adrian. After that they returned to the party that had a palace. Max's heart was pounding, he really wasn't ready if Liliana knew the truth about him. But the truth must be kept.

A few minutes later, Max arrived at the party hall. Eugene was behind him, he stepped into the hall after a long sigh.

A palace guard announced his arrival. "Her Majesty the crown prince has arrived!"

Max walked towards the center of the hall, his stern face and looks in the spotlight of all the women present.

"Is he the crown prince? Oh, my God, that's so handsome..."

"But isn't he a monster on the battlefield? Even he was not afraid to behead the enemy with his eyes open" said one woman

"Monster or not, God made her so beautiful.look at her handsome face, who wouldn't be tempted?"

Liliana, who had been chatting with Laura, stood up straight to pay her respects to the crown prince.

"Sister has come?" murmured Laura who was also stubborn with what was going to happen next.

The red-haired girl saw Max in the middle of the hall, she was about to call Eugene by name. However, his voice was stifled as everyone bowed respectfully to Max's figure.

The figure that looked cold, different from the figure of Eugene he knew. "Honour to the crown prince!" duke Geraldine welcomes Max.

Eugene is the crown prince? What does all this mean?

The two pretty blue eyes were widened, he was trying to digest what was happening there. All Max's lies have been exposed.

"Miss Lily," Laura worriedly looked at Liliana's pale countenance. The beautiful woman looked at Max.

Holy hooch! This reaction..

Max walked up to the King and Queen, paying their respects to the imperial couple. "Since the crown prince is already present, I want to announce another happy news!"

Max quietly glanced at Liliana and Laura who were right beside him with the crowd at the party.

Liliana, I'll explain everything to you later.

The King came down from his throne, everyone was looking forward to the happy news of what else the King would deliver. "Miss Julia Amoria Norton, come here!" The king asked a noble lady to face him.

The look of a beautiful woman with long black hair, with her red dress looks dazzling. Everyone's attention was on her.

"Sincerely my Majesty the King!" the girl named Julia smiled as she bowed and lifted her dress slightly, saluting the King.

Max's forehead frowned, he could not understand why the King called Duke Norton's daughter there.

"Today I announce that Miss Julia Amoria Norton will be the future crown prince couple and they will be engaged tonight!!" the King said firmly.

Liliana and Max's hearts were both struck by lightning. They were stunned by what the king said.

Prok prok!

Amidst the boisterous applause and greeting of the invited guests present at the party, Liliana looked shocked and frozen. He was like he had a great blow to his heart.

Queen Freya smiled with satisfaction as she clapped her hands at Max who looked upset and shocked.
