"Why did you give this to Lily?" Ask Max again.

"The North demon king will return and-" Lucifer did not continue his remarks. He looks doubtful.

"Just put that bracelet on him, I don't mean to be evil. That bracelet is a protection for him, if you don't believe me. Then just ask the old woman" Lucifer said with a cold smile.

"Explain what protection- means"

Before his curiosity was answered, Lucifer had already disappeared from there without saying goodbye. Max is confused by what Lucifer did and said to him.

"What protection? Whatdoes thatmean? Lily.." lily..." Max kept the bracelet in his pocket.

He went back to see Liliana, Lucifer's movements that made him anxious. He saw Liliana still asleep with Blackey still standing guard by the window. The girl was fine, she let out a sigh of relief. "Haahhhhh." rubbed the girl's face with her hands. "Good sleep, my dear" said the man, then kissed his forehead.

The next day, that morning Liliana woke up fit. But he was astonished because the clothes he was wearing were still the same as last night. "Why am I still wearing these clothes? Uh...wasn't I still on the roof with Maxim last night? Why would I be here? Did I fall asleep, huh?"

Today's competition is an archery competition, each participant gets a 3 times chance to shoot arrows. And the points will be recorded by myself, the princess and also the noble queen will be the judge directly. Of the most important rules in this competition, there must be no cheating!"

"Mother, I must-" her eyes squinted at the fresh blood pouring down on Max's palm.

"Sit down, we'll wait until it's over."

"Liliana, she'll be fine" the queen mother said, calming her down.

Liliana sat back down, she let out a heavy sigh and threw it away violently. "Why did Maxim's hand get hurt like that?!" gumammya. Max continues his competition.
